Stumbled upon this hidden gem near my apt in Edgewater tucked inside an office building. I believe the owners son was working and serving up pretty good breakfast sandwiches. I had the Bacon egg and cheese bagel which was surprisingly good given coming out of a small sized space. This is an Argentinian bakery in Edgewater that also has brunch / breakfast options. Service is quick and the store is tucked away in a little shopping area. I got the good morning sandwich (croissant sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheddar cheese) which was average (the croissant pieces were flattened and it didn't have the flakinest and layers of a croissant that I was expecting). One of my friends go the empanadas and I tried one of theirs which tasted savory and cooked well (if you go here, I would get the empanadas instead of the other items on the menu). It is convenient to stop by and food was served quickly but unlikely to go here again just because there are so many other places in Miami to try and the breakfast sandwich and empanadas did not stand out to me compared to other places that I have been to. read more

Figured I'd have breakfast here as the photos and reviews were pretty decent. Very clean cafe. Gentlemen who took my order was kind. My 2 stars is because my cafe con leche was watered down. Usually it has a slight thick milky consistency and theirs was unlike the usual cafe con leches I've had. I was disappointed by the egg sandwich I had. I had to ask what the black dots were in the eggs. They were black pepper. My sandwich felt empty and lacked flavor. I also didn't like the cheese. It wasn't melted and the egg to bread ratio was off. Too thin for bread that thick. I was expecting a better experience. This cafe is in an office building. read more

Where can I start. This little cafe is located in Biscayne inside of the 3050 building. They offer a variety of food and they also make delicious smoothies with protein! Best Argentinian empanadas in Miami. Not an exaggeration.. coffee, juices and smoothies are delicious as well. Can't go wrong with this place. If the weather is nice their patio area is awesome to sit at. Such a wonderful place to visit! It is family run and it shows. The food is incredible. We had a selection of empanadas and every single one were delicious and fresh. The service was amazing. Just to help those looking for this place, the entrance is not on Biscayne but in the back. After seeing photos on Yelp, I for some reason did not expect it to be in an office building, but a nice surprise because it was empty on a beautiful Saturday. The place is small and I thought I'd feel awkward hanging out there by myself while I waited for my friend but the son and mother owners made me feel right at home. I went with a ham and cheese media luna and an almond milk cappuccino. Let's just say it was so good, I ended up ordering another round of both. I just ate here earlier today and the staff was super friendly. The person taking our order was very prompt he also made sure to ask if everything was fine and brought everything to the table. I found this great little cafe on my morning walk. The manager told me the empanadas are freshly handmade by his mom every morning, and they taste delicious! Definitely try the chicken & beef ones. Really friendly family run establishment. Latte wasn't bad either but I'd say the empanadas are the real standouts. We also ordered a bunch of good morning breakfast sandwiches and more. It's a little hard to find (easiest way is to enter around back via the parking lot). If you're coming in off the main road you'll have to be all past the lobby of the complex and it'll be on your right. read more

So happy my stomach decided to start randomly grumbling, because what a treat! I ordered 2 empanadas- veggie (onions, squash & something else I don't remember) and mushroom pepper... I thought about taking a picture of my empanada but was enjoying it too much to flic it! Bottega is a family owned business, The son greets the customers ensuring everything runs smoothly. Food is made daily by Argentinian mom who you can tell cooks with so much passion. I was raving to them how good the food was and she popped out to say "I cook every dish with love as if I am cooking for my son". I can't wait to try their other dishes like smoothies and Sandwiches! No hype - the owner mom and her son are kind and pampering. Two of us thoroughly enjoyed their custom-made oat milk mocha cappucinos and both empanadas - chicken-onions, and spinach-feta - which both were fresh and the best we've ever had. We'd be there all the time if we lived nearby. I needed a "steak break," so I opted for the "I Can't Believe It's Not Carbonara"--and I have zero noodle regrets! The zucchini substitute combined with a delicious carbonara sauce meant there was no concern about the lack of traditional pasta. The zucchini more than filled the role, and I certainly appreciated the caloric savings. The chicken was also well-cooked, flavorful, and moist. I especially loved the tableside delivery and the unique touch of being served directly from a colander. The order isn't huge, which I appreciated, it felt the right size for lunch without weighing down your afternoon. Now, there were likely no calorie savings with the Serrano Ham Croquettes, but they are small and easily shareable if you want to spread the love. They are a true step up and a legitimate treat compared to run-of-the-mill mozzarella sticks. The decor kitsch continues right until the end--the check arrived in an old-school lunchbox! The staff were great throughout the meal, making for a seamless and enjoyable lunch.

From the moment we sat down, our waitress was warm and attentive. I wish I'd gotten her name. She made great recommendations that were all delicious. Is a simple but effective menu with starters included with the main dish. Great value for their portions. We had no complaints about the food and the drinks were just as good. The restaurant is very well managed and organized. It's a beautiful location with gorgeous views of golden hour.

We threw these in the fridge so we could eat it the next morning. After around 20-30 seconds in the microwave they were perfect to enjoy. The pastry was soft and flakey and the fillings were generous and seasoned perfectly.

Hello, If I was the…read moreowner Cortadito location at Brickell Avenue, I would be extremely embarrassed to have someone like Rebecca representing the business due to the poor level of professionalism and customer service she displayed today. First, there was no "good afternoon" or "how can I help you?" when I approached. Second, I requested a cortadito with a small amount of sugar and cinnamon -- the same request that is accommodated at the Miami Beach location (Lincoln Road). Rebecca responded with a very unpleasant attitude, saying, "We don't put sugar in the cortadito." Dear Rebecca: when a customer requests specific preferences, the proper response is to accommodate the request whenever possible, not respond dismissively. Customer service is about hospitality, flexibility, and making guests feel welcomed. Unfortunately, Rebecca appears to lack both proper customer service training and the values expected when dealing with customers. Cortadito's brand and standards deserve much better representation.
