    STEAK & EGG BOWL.

DO NOT GET THE TIRAMISU MATCHA. No tira, no misu, & definitely doesn't taste like there is even matcha. It's not like the sweet flavors are overriding a matcha taste...NO it literally just tastes like milk. -30000/10. The steak & eggs bowl was delicious & very filling! Although I do wish you could see all the ingredients on top of the spinach + rice. Waiter was hot tho

Cute Parisian chic Cafe! Instagram ready spot that has a waterfront patio. Pretty and romantic spot perfect for brunch and breakfast. Famous for their pistachio croissants. Frankly they were not that good and were dry. Had better pistachio croissants else where. Coffee took forever to be made. However, the salmon omelette was excellent but too bad the potatoes had a hair on it yuck. I was excited to eat here but Cafe Bastille did not live to my expectations. Maybe next time.

I dined here twice last weekend when I was in town. Excellent breakfast spot. Food was quite good, hence I visited a second time a couple days later. Service was friendly, warm and welcoming. The atmosphere pleasant and comfortable. They don't take reservations, walk ins only.

This a great spot to get something to eat in the morning and to sit and relax in a True Miami feel. Latin music as background music and a view of the buzz of the city. The Smoked Salmon croissant was good, little messy but huge. First time I had a smoked salmon croissant, so I can't really judge, but I liked it.

    BEN'S FAVORITE OMELETTE.. truffle fries

To be fair, I was not in the mood for breakfast food. So this may slightly be a slanted review.. **Maybe add a star if you like brunch ;) But the food itself was fine. My husband and friends really enjoyed their meals. The truffle fries were really good, very crispy and fresh. They had freshly squeezed green apple juice which was actually delicious. The waiter was very sweet and kind. It's a smaller restaurant but they make it work with its cozy design. We had some luggage with us and they were kind enough to put our suitcases in their storage room without a question. Very chill spot for a brunch date

French toast cappuccino was on point. Definitely would get again. Shashuka was good, not great. Would order again because it seemed healthy. Tomato paste and poached eggs. Turkey Benedict was what you would expect from any diner. Dulche de leche French toast was sweet, no syrup needed, and would have been great with coffee or ala mode. Glad I came and tried it. Would I come back? Possibly but most likely not probable.

Not sure if the hype is real at Cafe Bastille. Didn't have the amazing experience as expected on our visit. Love the decor and true French vibe and there is a bakery side and the brunch/restaurant side. Staff was super friendly and nice but service was lacking as it did take some time for our food to arrive. There seems to be a lack of timing and communication between the restaurant side and bakery side as the croissant we ordered arrived first and it arrived cold when it was asked to be warmed and toasted. Cafe Latte was not delivered until the smoke salmon omelette arrived later down the road. Utensils were dirty and water cups were dirty as they had to be replace twice. We also found a strand of hair in the house potatoes but granted we sat outside and it may have flew from any direction from anyone. Food was tasteful but the croissant was not memorable as anticipated.

Cute cafe. Had a little bit of a wait on an early Saturday afternoon but nothing crazy. Our server was amazing. Food and ambiance was lovely. French toast was my favorite. Definitely will be back.

I'm giving Café Bastille three out of three stars. Honestly, I think it is a little overhyped. I went mostly because of all the buzz, and while it was okay, it just didn't quite live up to the hype for me. The food was fine, but nothing really stood out or made me feel like I needed to come back immediately. Sometimes trying a place just because everyone is talking about it is enough, and this was definitely one of those cases. The location does not help the vibe. You are right on a busy street, and let me tell you, they are the only light in the whole area. The energy is high, which could be fun if you are into that, but it made everything feel chaotic. The service went relatively fast, but the whole experience feels more like organized chaos than relaxing dining. If you want a calm, enjoyable meal, this probably isn't the place, but if you are curious and don't mind the hype, it is worth a quick visit.

Busy breakfast and brunch spot so arrive early or be ready to wait for a table. The menu is varied, with everything from indulgent, carb-heavy staples to lighter, healthier options. Service was warm and attentive and despite the crowd the food arrived quickly and was delicious overall. The bread served with my Turkish eggs was a slight letdown but the eggs were well prepared and nicely spiced. Indoor seating can get loud and lacks ambiance, but the outdoor terrace looked lovely.

The food was amazing! I've never had a Croque Madame and now my standards have been set. Cheesy, savory, and delicious! Although we went on a Saturday around 11:30am and it was packed, we were still able to get seated in 15 minutes. They put three people in a table for 2. And there was not enough space as the plates are pretty big. The waitress was very friendly and had a smile on every time she came to the table. Overall great experience and will be back! Thank you!

    Avo & Eggs

We had an amazing breakfast at cafe Bastille. Ivelisse was our server and she was incredibly attentive. We ordered the avo and eggs platter, the Parisian omelette, a pistachio latte, and a cappuccino, and every single item was exceptional. This is hands down the best French café in Miami, and we can't wait to come back. Highly recommend!

First and foremost, upon walking up the aesthetic is so cute! It has a very chic garden feel. Even the napkins have cute flowers on them. We had a train to catch so got there right when it opened. Mid November the weather was perfect to sit outside. I started with a mimosa and single espresso. They incorporate a lot of Persian style foods so I was excited to try the green shashuka. So good! It probably could have fed two people. It had a ton of flavor and it's served with a Jerusalem bagel. Overall a great spot, I'd definitely go back when I'm in Miami.

The hardest part about dining here was deciding what I wanted to order. I could have ordered the entire menu it looked so good! Helpful tip... check out the menu and know what you're going to order before you get in line. Otherwise you're going to be pressured to order at the front of the line. When you walk in, you place your order and pay for it and take a table number. You need to find your own table. Our service was pretty quick, despite how busy the restaurant was. My cold brew was very good and a nice start to the meal. Our guacamole came next and it was nicely styled with pomegranate, cheese and cilantro on top. Yum! The real star of the show for me was this unassuming looking House Club Sandwich that was to die for. Seriously ... it was so good. I ordered mine without the ham, and it was divine! I wish i lived closer. I'm already dreaming of coming back. My son ordered some kind of short rib/beef burrito and it disappeared so quickly I didn't even get to snap a photo. This is a perfect spot to enjoy a great meal, I highly recommend it. One thing I can say is that it's on the pricey side. $113 lunch for 2 added up super fast but it was well worth it. I'll be dreaming of that sandwich til my next visit!

They also automatically add tip. I ordered the quesadilla, and there is an option to add mushrooms/onions on the menu. Online it shows the quesadilla is $13, when I ordered it was $14 + 2.50 for onions and tomatoes (which ended up coming on the side). Also, when I asked to order that, the waitress was a bit rude. So I ended up paying $17.82 for a terrible quesadilla and experience. I really liked the horchata matcha though (hence the 2 stars).

We were seated right next to the pool, but our table happened to be directly in front of the spot where everyone stopped to take photos. At first it felt a little odd, but it quickly became entertaining and added to the fun atmosphere. We stayed in the Azure suite, Our room was stunning and was ready a few hours early, which allowed us to start enjoying our stay right away with a bottle of bubbly the hotel sent up. We changed into our swimsuits and headed straight to the pool. The next morning was my favorite part of the stay, since only hotel guests have access to the pool before the restaurant opens, it was much quieter and the perfect way to enjoy such a beautiful setting. The only downside was that the hotel is extremely loud at night. We knew what to expect from reading previous reviews, so it wasn't a surprise, but it's worth mentioning. I was also a little disappointed by the restaurant service, which felt indifferent and not especially welcoming. Despite those drawbacks, the beauty, history, and overall experience made for a memorable stay!
