We saw this place on Instagram and decided to stop in. We love matcha and decided to get a strawberry matcha and a tiramisu matcha. Total was $29 for 2 matcha drinks + 18% gratuity. Absolutely not worth it! The strawberry was pretty good. They were able to substitute the milk for coconut milk. They weren't able to substitute the foam for non dairy foam, so we got no foam. The tiramisu matcha was terrible. It tastes NOTHING like tiramisu. All they needed to do was make the mascarpone sweeter and thicker, and use sweetened condensed milk mix for the milk then soak the lady finger in espresso or sprinkle espresso on top. I was so disappointed it tasted like snot in a glass with matcha on top to me. The manager was very nice, she asked me if I liked it and I was honest with her she replaced my drink with a strawberry matcha. They took forever getting my strawberry matcha to me, it was getting busy but our server never came back to our table to give me my new drink. He was awful. The ambiance was decent, the table will ruin your clothes. The cocking glue melted off onto my partners pants. Sit inside if you can!

This a great spot to get something to eat in the morning and to sit and relax in a True Miami feel. Latin music as background music and a view of the buzz of the city. The Smoked Salmon croissant was good, little messy but huge. First time I had a smoked salmon croissant, so I can't really judge, but I liked it.

Cute Parisian chic Cafe! Instagram ready spot that has a waterfront patio. Pretty and romantic spot perfect for brunch and breakfast. Famous for their pistachio croissants. Frankly they were not that good and were dry. Had better pistachio croissants else where. Coffee took forever to be made. However, the salmon omelette was excellent but too bad the potatoes had a hair on it yuck. I was excited to eat here but Cafe Bastille did not live to my expectations. Maybe next time.

Love this place, as it's just a few blocks from our Miami office and right near the hotel we usually stay at - my husband brought me here (he patrons this place often) for brunch and it was delicious! Such a cute ambiance (we ate outside) and our server was really friendly. Definitely recommend!

Wanted brunch at 1pm so we stumbled upon Cafe Bastille. The decor is absolutely gorgeous. We sat outside. Outside seating is a bit crowded so this is why it's rated a 4-stars. We ordered the chai latte with French breakfast burrito with sausage and with the sauces, delicious. We also tried the Dulce de leche pancakes and the Nutella French toast - all delicious!

To be fair, I was not in the mood for breakfast food. So this may slightly be a slanted review.. **Maybe add a star if you like brunch ;) But the food itself was fine. My husband and friends really enjoyed their meals. The truffle fries were really good, very crispy and fresh. They had freshly squeezed green apple juice which was actually delicious. The waiter was very sweet and kind. It's a smaller restaurant but they make it work with its cozy design. We had some luggage with us and they were kind enough to put our suitcases in their storage room without a question. Very chill spot for a brunch date

The food was delicious and service was good. I like the vibes this place has. You can sit outside or inside. The inside room space is small. The portion size was good size. I got the immunity drink which was tasty. I would go back again. Its close to the Hyatt we stayed at. I would recommend this place.

I dined here twice last weekend when I was in town. Excellent breakfast spot. Food was quite good, hence I visited a second time a couple days later. Service was friendly, warm and welcoming. The atmosphere pleasant and comfortable. They don't take reservations, walk ins only.

French toast cappuccino was on point. Definitely would get again. Shashuka was good, not great. Would order again because it seemed healthy. Tomato paste and poached eggs. Turkey Benedict was what you would expect from any diner. Dulche de leche French toast was sweet, no syrup needed, and would have been great with coffee or ala mode. Glad I came and tried it. Would I come back? Possibly but most likely not probable.

Not sure if the hype is real at Cafe Bastille. Didn't have the amazing experience as expected on our visit. Love the decor and true French vibe and there is a bakery side and the brunch/restaurant side. Staff was super friendly and nice but service was lacking as it did take some time for our food to arrive. There seems to be a lack of timing and communication between the restaurant side and bakery side as the croissant we ordered arrived first and it arrived cold when it was asked to be warmed and toasted. Cafe Latte was not delivered until the smoke salmon omelette arrived later down the road. Utensils were dirty and water cups were dirty as they had to be replace twice. We also found a strand of hair in the house potatoes but granted we sat outside and it may have flew from any direction from anyone. Food was tasteful but the croissant was not memorable as anticipated.

Very disappointing experience. This restaurant is not inexpensive, so we expected much better service and quality. We had previously visited the Fort Lauderdale location and had a great experience, so we came in with high expectations. Unfortunately, this visit was very different. The food took way too long to arrive and came out at different times, so we were not able to eat together. When my son's plate finally arrived, we had to send it back and have it remade because there was a hair in the food. I understand that mistakes can happen, but combined with everything else, it made the experience unacceptable. The food quality was also disappointing. The acai bowl was extremely sweet, even though I specifically requested it without honey. The Benedicts were supposed to come with thick-cut bacon, but the bacon was thin and overcooked/burnt, which was not what we expected. The coffee arrived with the entire cup covered in spilled coffee, the service was very slow, and the overall attention was disappointing. On top of that, considering how hot it is outside, there are no fans available, and customers are not allowed to sit inside, making the wait even more uncomfortable. We expected much better, especially after our positive experience at the Fort Lauderdale location. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet the standards we were hoping for and we would not return.

Cute cafe. Had a little bit of a wait on an early Saturday afternoon but nothing crazy. Our server was amazing. Food and ambiance was lovely. French toast was my favorite. Definitely will be back.

I'm giving Café Bastille three out of three stars. Honestly, I think it is a little overhyped. I went mostly because of all the buzz, and while it was okay, it just didn't quite live up to the hype for me. The food was fine, but nothing really stood out or made me feel like I needed to come back immediately. Sometimes trying a place just because everyone is talking about it is enough, and this was definitely one of those cases. The location does not help the vibe. You are right on a busy street, and let me tell you, they are the only light in the whole area. The energy is high, which could be fun if you are into that, but it made everything feel chaotic. The service went relatively fast, but the whole experience feels more like organized chaos than relaxing dining. If you want a calm, enjoyable meal, this probably isn't the place, but if you are curious and don't mind the hype, it is worth a quick visit.

Nestled in Wynwood, the restaurant has a chic yet welcoming atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's the kind of place that feels lively without being overwhelming. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out. Every staff member was warm and attentive, and our server, Radomere, truly elevated the experience. Managing a party of 12 is no easy task, yet everything flowed seamlessly. He was attentive, personable, and made sure our celebration felt special from start to finish. With a group our size, we took full advantage of the menu. We shared oysters, escargot, crispy artichokes, leeks, beet salad, French onion soup, tuna carpaccio, steak tartare, and a beautifully curated cheese platter. Every appetizer arrived impeccably presented and packed with flavor. It was one of those rare meals where every dish earned compliments around the table. The cocktails and wine were just as enjoyable especially the dirty martinis, which were a hit with our group. For the main course, we ordered everything from the cheeseburger and mussels to the lemon pasta, spaghetti, steak, and chicken. Once again, every plate was beautifully executed and, more importantly, absolutely delicious. There wasn't a weak link in the meal. Dessert was the perfect finale. The dark chocolate mousse was rich, silky, and easily my favorite, though the profiteroles and lemon tart were excellent as well. Great food is one thing, but when you pair it with exceptional service, it makes for a memorable dining experience. This was an easy five-star visit, and I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

The ambiance is vibrant and has a lovely, authentic French feel. The host was very welcoming and made a great first impression when we walked in. The Food: Given the reputation, we expected the kitchen to deliver, but most of the dishes fell flat: French Onion Soup: Just okay nothing special compared to other versions I've had. Artichoke with Aioli: Good! The aioli had great flavor and was easily the highlight of the savory dishes. New York Strip Steak: Very disappointing. It lacked flavor, felt dry, and was just "whatever." Pastis Burger: Like the steak, it was underwhelming and missed the mark on flavor. Crème Brûlée: Saved the ending it was executed well and tasted great. The Service: Our server was polite enough, but completely disengaged. He didn't offer any suggestions or attempt to sell any specials we had to ask all the questions ourselves. To top it off, after we ordered coffee alongside our dessert, he simply dropped the check on the table and vanished. We felt rushed, like he was just waiting to clock out and go home.
