My Spanish is poor so I struggled with ordering but I knew what I wanted based on the pictures. I got the "typical breakfast" with the tortillas. This is a feast. The crema, delicious! See picture (1) They have a lunch special that changes. The breakfast was so good, I'm going back for lunch. I will find a way to order! They have a credit/debit card surcharge but it's only 79 cents per order, so not bad. So so so good! They have limited indoor seating due to to COVID; and lunch time they're busy but they move the line quickly. I did go back for lunch! Let's get something straight. The nationality is Honduran, not Hondurian... Anyway, I am not sure why this is called a coffee shop. This is a "restaurant" with no table service, a place where you order your food at the counter and pay, and then you wait for your order to be called out. There are hot food trays with food ready to go, as well as food ready to assemble. You can eat in and seat at a table, or take out. My first time, I was here because I needed to use the facilities (no soap, just saying). When I exited the restroom, I glanced at the hot food and it looked good. I somewhat heard baleadas from one of the customers ordering, so I did a figure eight mixed with a U-turn and picked up a menu. Yes, they have a bunch of Central American dishes. So while I waited to order, I noticed in the back that there is one person dedicated to making tortillas. Not frying tortilla chips to dip in salsa (forget that), a person making the real whole tortillas. When I saw this I was immediately transported to Honduras (and I have never been). I needed to have a in-house made tortilla. So when my turn came, I ordered a baleada with avocado and egg. I am not going to say this is a vegetarian baleada because I know some people don't see eggs as vegetables, so wathever, I am not saying it was a vegetarian baleada (but I did). I took my baleada and flexed. Second trip to this place, I got some roasted chicken with gayo pinto and plantains. And of course, some fresh made tortillas. I will say this: it was good. Of course, you really want to try these tortillas. I have explained in other reviews I don't come from a tortilla culture, but man, forget about naan bread or NY pizza. These tortillas are going to blow you away. Now, don't get overexcited. Proceed with caution, maybe pick up some lunch, or breakfast (there is a breakfast baleada!). Just try it and let me know. Horrible service! Probably the worst service I have received while being on crutches. I ordered my food 30 mins prior and arrived about 5 minutes late. I walked in the store only to be ignored by the lady at the cashier who appeared to be prioritizing phone calls over any customers in front of her. Once she's off the phone she does not bother to ask if I need help or if I'd like to make an order ( when It's your job being at the register). Not only has she ignored me for 3 minutes but left me standing on crutches only to be told they don't have my Order ready! Whoever said the Baleadas here are good clearly doesn't know about food. The Baleadas are not tasty the beans in them are worse. Food is horrible, try it for yourself but I highly do not recommend this place. From the moment you walk the place doesn't smell pleasant and you can tell it's not clean. A small restaurant that serves delicious Centro American food (Honduran), very consistent, quick and cheap. There are food that's ready to serve/take out and other dishes a la cart. The place is packed the whole day, it's very convenient for take out and good to eat in as well. The ground beef enchiladas, rotisserie chicken, rice and chicken with sauce are our family favorite dishes!! They offer glass bottle soda and typical Honduran drinks as well. A must try! read more

The name is misleading- all they have is regular coffee. If you are from Honduras it will definitely give you a "homey" feel. What you need to try: Tortillas, hand made, hand pressed, hand fried - 5 for $1, Carne asada is my favorite, but we always try 1 thing new like the baked chicken, or the pork chunk vegetable stew, or something off the menu. They have this homemade salsa, beware it is very hot - delicious, very spicy - we call it the carrot fire sauce. Just go here. Favorite dish: Carne asada ("grilled red meat") which comes with white rice, refried beans (delicious), Honduran white cheese, small cabbage salad and your choice of a tortilla or mariquitas (fried green plaintains in long strip-like chips). I prefer the mariquitas. Another great dish: Tacos hondureños which resemble Mexican "flautas." You definitely get your money's worth.
