Upon leaving I thought it was different than i had done it before and maybe just needed to adjust. Idk. On further reflection she must have switched the products or burned them somehow. Half my eyelashes were kinked. Yes i followed aftercare perfectly. Then my eyelashes fell out and at some point were itchy and my lid was swollen. I'm not post photos but have them, and she has seen them. My eyebrows also were like hard and wouldn't move. Later they started falling out too. She gave me a full refund when I send her pics. But this is before everything started falling out. I had to buy a lash serum to grow them back. And then in August I started noticing that my eyebrows were falling out. I thought they were shedding normally and going back to blonde. NOPE! They weren't growing back at all. I went to the dr and it is 100% because of what she did. I now am using rogaine to regrow them. It's taking forever and she also refused to pay for product to help grown them back. It's probably going to be another 2-3 months of me looking awful because of Perri. Have the Holiday you deserve.

I paid $1000 for Dysport with one very clear request: I wanted a fully frozen forehead, the same result I have consistently achieved here in the past. At two weeks (the full window for Dysport to set in), I still had significant movement and visible lines. For anyone familiar with injectables, this outcome is far below what's reasonable at this price point, especially when the goal was explicitly communicated in advance. When I reached out to the clinic about the poor result, I expected professionalism, accountability, and a willingness to make it right. Instead, I was told that if I wanted the issue corrected, I would have to pay for more units. That is simply not industry standard. Reputable injectors stand behind their work and typically offer a complimentary touch-up if results fall short of what was promised. Whether this was poor injecting or a bad vial should not then be the patients problem to pay. What made this worse is that I know that if the vial is reported to the manufacturer, the company would happily provide them with a complimentary replacement vial. In other words, the clinic had the ability to resolve this at no cost to themselves. Rather than taking that step, they placed the burden back on me after I had already spent $1000. It's deeply disappointing to see a practice prioritize profit over integrity and client satisfaction. I left feeling dismissed and taken advantage of. For something as personal and expensive as facial injectables, trust and accountability are everything. Your face and your money deserve better than this.

It's incredibly frustrating because I have to plan my schedule ahead of time and block off work just to make these appointments. When they cancel last minute, it throws everything off. Another thing to be aware of is that there are no refunds once you purchase a package. Even if the constant rescheduling becomes a major inconvenience, you're essentially stuck and have to work around their availability. For the amount of money you're spending, I'd recommend looking into Sev Laser instead. Their pricing is much more affordable, booking is far more flexible, and you can often get same-day appointments. They also offer pay-per-session options that are about 30-40% cheaper than LaserAway. Do your research before committing to a package here.

However, my last visit left me a little disappointed because while it was extremely relaxing and the service was great, I'm not so happy with how my actual nails turned out :-( I did the Volcano Spa service for both my pedicure and manicure which were absolutely lovely, along with gel remove and gel on both my fingers and toes. The 10 minutes of massage for both were so nice, especially the shoulders and upper back that came with the manicure. But during the gel remove, the gel on my fingers was removed with the drill. It was the same on my toes but I don't have an issue there. Normally I wouldn't mind, but my natural fingernails were drilled down so thin that even though I cut my nails short, they're ripping at the ends with normal daily wear and tear. I went on Saturday morning and I've had two nails rip at the ends already and it is only Tuesday morning. I'm not sure if it was because I came in with long nails already (imagine asking for a medium-long set) and they may have been mistaken for gel-x or something of the sort, but it was just my natural nails with gel on top. I can even feel on all of my fingernails just how thin they were drilled down because suddenly all my nails are very flimsy, even with several gel coats on top. The rest of the service and experience were great, so it's a bit disappointing to feel like I regret how much I paid because of how weak my fingernails became after this appointment. Regardless I would still return in the future if I want the pampering experience, but if I can do without the massage and just need my nails done I may choose another salon instead. Just something to note if you're someone who is worried about your nail strength. UPDATE 8/4 9:48PM: Another nail ripped pretty far down just from scratching my head :-(

A very tasteful, custom design for an 11 y.o. They lasted almost 4 weeks but finally time to take them off. We made an appt for 2:30 today and due to Jenny not getting the message we had to wait about 30-40 minutes. Not the biggest deal, really nice out and our favorite boba spot just a few blocks down Polk St. When we got back the other woman in the shop started taking off the gels, they were taking a while to saturate enough to fully remove so the cotton with acetone and foil had to stay on longer. My daughter's fingers started burning and when we let them know, Jenny prompted the other woman to take a look. Not ready yet so while the owner was finishing up with another client this other woman needed to take care of it. At one point a customer had to ask this other woman to help my daughter, that she would kindly wait. It took over an hour to remove and clean up her nails, no manicure after. Two hours later my daughter's poor fingers are still burning. Jenny was quite apologetic and adjusted the price as a courtesy. We love Jenny but maybe she needs some more support in her shop.

Go for quality, go with Josie at Lash boutique! Trial and error is costly and tbh very detrimental to your natural lashes if they don't know what they're doing. Extended review: Lash extensions have become apart of my daily look, I've been getting lash extensions for a little bit over a year now. My skin is combo; dry in some areas and oily in others. I have pretty full natural lashes with multiple layers so you would think it was very easy to do my lashes....but oh how some lash artists have proved me wrong . It has been trial and error finding a lash technician (Josie's also a licensed esthetician!) that listens to all my needs. I asked Josie to do a more natural look and she honestly actually advised against it and I am so glad she did ! She informed me that based on my eyes shape that a volume set would look best. She carefully asses the overall look you are trying to achieve, the amount of natural lashes you have, and advises accordingly! Background info: I work in the restaurant industry and work 10+hrs a day and my schedule changes based on the restaurant needs, so it's very difficult for me to schedule a locked in time and date but Josie has been so flexible with scheduling that she has eliminated that anxiety I get when I need a fill (thank you seriously tysm!). I recently had my first lash lift appointment at La Boutique. Since my lashes are naturally very short, I was skeptical about the results. I consulted with Josie about whether lash lifts or extensions would be better for me, and she recommended the lash lift. I decided to trust her advice and went with the lift, but unfortunately, I didn't see much of a difference in the length of my lashes. While Josie was incredibly professional and I appreciated her expertise, I feel like I spent $100 without achieving the noticeable results I was hoping for. I've been here once but I have already have a refill scheduled. Josie is quite flexible with scheduling and accommodating to my schedule. She is very clean and efficient and her prices are amazing. Ashley's also an awesome person, super easy to get along with, and her music during our appointments is always on point, better than any spa I've been to. Ashley does my lashes exactly how I like them...glamorous and adding flare but natural looking so people question if they are my real lashes or not. I get compliments all the time. They make me feel like a Queen and a million bucks every time. Highly recommend! She's truly the best in the business!

I found her when I was specifically…read morelooking for someone to do a "wispy" lash look close to me in the Marina and picked her solely based off aesthetics and photos. The idea behind wispies is you have lashes of varying length versus a straight graduated lash, so not full anime but not an even length either. Previously Asalya worked mostly at Yuki Lashes when I noticed she had been showing up less and less on the schedule. Imagine my surprise when I ran in to her (almost barreled her down bc I was late) looking for my old masseuse in a random building on Union St and we gave each other the, "What are you doing here!" I was so so excited to learn she was opening her own place! She is always prompt, starts on time, knows exactly what I want and is really gentle and never causes pain. Also shes super hygienic and I always have great retention unless I wear strip lashes or get lazy about cleaning them. I get compliments on my lashes everywhere - even in Asia and NY where people are insufferably vapid. Even men compliment them...not like I do it for them :) Also never had an issue with my lashes sticking together or eye irritation. Perfect fans and isolation every time. On the rare occasion I submit to a foreign fill from someone else due to my travel schedule, I would always get compliments and then shock I get them done in SF. The beauty game in SF is sadly just not as strong so I hold on to my asalya lashes with dear life Overall highly recommend and her new place is on a really convenient location in Union on the second floor of a walkup. She really has done my favorite lash extensions in all san francisco/the marina. I also love how she goes with my vibe and is happy to have me chat or just snore my stress away and listen to podcasts (my default lashing energy). Every set looks flawless and I always get compliments :) If I'm feeling lowkey, I'll ask her for a lash lift and she's superb at that too. Such an easy way to brighten my eyes and it's even made me feel comfortable wearing less makeup. What I love most is how much care she puts into her work. She listens to what you want and the whole appointment feels like self-care. She has a very calming and positive energy. If you're on the fence about getting lashes for the first time -- book with her and she'll make you feel comfortable because she genuinely cares. HIGHLY recommend! I've even recommended her to my friends and they're repeat customers now too!
