Sometimes I do find that the staff in the aisles section, are not knowledgeable about where to find certain goods on the shelves, or knowing why perhaps a certain item is not in stock at that time. But overall, we love this store. It is also a cheerful, pleasant, clean and well-ventilated space to shop in. I always feel happy here. May this store thrive!

One of the products I really like is the New Zealand protein from Schinoussa, both the isolate and concentrate. I'm pretty picky about protein powders and, from what I've seen, these are about as clean as it gets. They're stevia-sweetened too. I know a few people with really sensitive digestion who normally can't tolerate protein powders at all, and they've had no issues with these. They also have a little coffee and juice bar, which is a nice bonus. The coffee and shakes are actually good, and the prices are pretty decent. But honestly, what makes the place stand out to me is the people. The owners and staff seem to genuinely care about their customers and the community. It doesn't feel like one of those places where they're just trying to sell you something. Have a conversation with the management and you'll see what I mean. They're very community-oriented and you can tell they actually care about the people who come through the door. That goes a long way with me. Their online store is really easy to use as well, and they're always running some kind of promotion. I also really like that they support tree planting and give back to a good cause. One little tip for anyone ordering: I found that the code JOECC gets you an extra 12% off both online and in-store. Overall, just a really good local business. Hailey the owner (I hope i spelled that correctly) was the sweetest and I had a great conversation with her about nutrition. The co-op itself has so many gluten free, vegan, organic and locally sourced food options to buy in bulk or by the package. I love the environment they create here and the workers are always so friendly and helpful. They also have a section of pre-made food (most of which is vegan) and it all looks freshly made and delightful!
