So I am updating my review from 6 years ago. I don't know if they changed owners but the food has gone downhill. They removed a bunch of items including the rolled up taquitos that we're my favorite and they have incorporated more seafood which I get it the name "La Bufadora" it's supposed to have more seafood items but aside from that I feel like the quality of the food has downgraded and the prices went up. Cussed my daughter!!! So my daughter who doesn't speak Spanish very well went In this last Friday (01/10/2020). The lady behind the register kept talking to her in Spanish and after my daughter told her (various times) she didn't really understand Spanish the lady kept talking to her in Spanish. My daughter got very frustrated and was trying her best to understand. When they finally got her order it was incorrect and when my daughter told them the order was incorrect the staff then began to call her names I. Spanish. Of course everyone knows the bad names in Spanish so my daughter (a minor) was very intimidated and felt attacked and unsafe. How dare these workers make someone feel bad for not understanding how to speak Spanish. And then they blame and belittle her when they get the order wrong!! Was recommended this place for their fish tacos and was excited to try them out. I ordered to go and got 6 fish tacos, 3 potato tacos, a veggie burrito and a chicken salad. However When I brought them home, the fish tacos didn't have the coleslaw on them! It was plain, for $18 bucks I got 6 plain fish tacos, I literally had to take some avocado from the salad to make the tacos good to eat, how are you going to forget the coleslaw?? I love most of the tacos at La bufadora but the potato taco is something else! It's definitely something special! Who would have thought to put mashed potatoes in a taco shell? It works tho! Went there July 2, 2020 with friend. I had the two fish tacos he had carne asada fries. I ate some of his fries. What a mistake!!! We both had food poisoning for 3 days. Diarrhea, stomach craps for 3 days and it just messed up our weekend to be quite honest. So we spoke about complaining. He found my receipt and gave it to me to call and complain. I called spoke to the manager. Bad mistake!! All she said was we make all our stuff fresh and we didn't do anything wrong yada yada yada. I was raised in the food biz the carne asada fries didn't look right the sour cream looked like milk poured over the fries. I am looking at my Visa receipt from there for $19.38 and def didn't pay for stomach craps and diarrhea for 3 days. The manager was very defensive I hung up.
