A hot spot right now be prepared for a crazy busy weekend! It's outdoors and set up as a Mexico style restaurant. The restaurants is in the front of the ranch. Food: large portions so many options from cafe de Hoya to fresh waters. My top pick fresa crema made fresh. I got a guarache de carne asada it was fire! Also a sope just to taste both. Micheladas perfect for a hang over on a weekend. The have menudo too. My hubby got chilaquiles and again huge portion. Some of my fam did mention food was a bit cold and hard since it's outdoors and they try to get all orders out asap. Parking and sitting: it gets super packed so be ready to park far and walk up to the ranch bring comfy shoes it's all dirt and rocks. Sitting gets full be ready to look out for a table as people are leaving. But overall a great way to get the experience fresh tortillas served in traditional Mexican plates and a good time!

2 lg bowls of menudo $18 each and canned Cokes $3 each

LAKE ELSINORE LOCATION: We tried this place for the first time on a Sunday about 2 PM. The wait in line was approximately 20 minutes and we waited approximately an hour for two bowls of Menudo and three canned cokes. Was it worth it? Absolutely 100% would go back. The Menudo was the good kind of homemade... Full of flavor not greasy hot and just delicious. The Menudo came with a basket up for homemade tortillas that were so flavorful. The only thing I would do different is wait to get my cokes from the cooler until I receive my food because they did get warm waiting for the food to come out.

the food was really good and got it pretty fast probably because we waited over an hour to be seated. that's not there usual wait time, they were short on cooks that day . next time I will go early morning. The staff was very attentive and really nice. kinda pricey but I would go eat there again only because I loved the menudo

Chicharrón en salsa roja con frijoles refritos. Quesadilla sencilla de maíz. Coctel de camarón.

After being in Lake Elsinore for a little over a year it was a bit hard finding a restaurant that had the same "sazón" as my mom/grandma or Mexico. Today my wife and I decided to try Frida's place and maaaaaaaaaan were we amazed by the food. The lady at the counter greeted us, offered us menus and sat us down while allowing us enough time before we had to order. While we were seated we saw a few plates go out for the party seating behind us and everything smelled soooo goood! Well, we were not disappointed at all the foood was SOOOOO DELICIOUS. I tried the chicharrón en salsa roja plate. I also ordered a plain cheese quesadilla with handmade corn tortilla. The salsa roja in the chicharrón was perfect, not too spicy and not too mild, just perfect. The refried beans were delicious just like back home, and overall both of our plates had very good portions. My wife had a cóctel de camarón and she loved the seasoning in it, not too spicy not too mild again, just perfect I paired my plate with a cold Sangria (refrescó) while my wife had hers with a coke. They had Jarritos and bunch of other flavors to choose from. Who would've thought a little hole in the wall would've brought so many good memories while eating delicious food. It was worth the wait and I highly recommend this place to all of you! Muchas gracias por todo y les deseo mucho éxito! Nos vemos para la próxima!

2 tacos de chales, 1 al pastor

Have gone twice since their opening in May. Super yummy food, finally a place that has freshly made tacos de chicharron. They call them chales (pork belly) with freshly made tortillas. I feel they are fair prices.$2 for a taco, $3 with the handmade big tortilla. Al pastor is very good. Chile relleno plate was delish! Will be trying more stuff out so far everything has been A1

Really authentic Mexican food, people will call this a hole in the wall but if you like great tasting Mexican food this is the perfect place, Pozole, tacos, birria, mariscos etc,,,,,,,,todo está riquísimo , muy amables y excelente servicio .

We happened to be running an errand & came across this small gem nestled in Lake Elsinore. A small taco shop/restaurant with delicious food. We ordered street tacos with handmade tortillas, quesabirria with a side of rice. They provided us with chips and salsa which was spicy but flavorful. This is about a 30 minute drive from home but we will for sure be making this drive again.

    California burrito

It's good. It's a big burrito. Not your typical California burrito though. The meat had some chewy tendons in it and the "guacamole" was more like avocado slices. It does the job if you're itching for a ca burrito tho.

Don't let the size fool you...

This place is over rated. We ordered menudo no flavor and we ordered the quesabirra,it was so greasy and pricey. We won't be going again.

If you have ever had a taco Tuesday special other places you may have gotten these flimsy street tacos with not much inside except cilantro an onions. Well that's not these. Crispy shells stuffed with meat, lettuce and lots of cheese, a bargain at any price. A custom veggie taco was made for my veggie friend and recently appointed Elite yelper Brent. Thumbs up from the far end of the table. Chili Verde, rice and beans was excellent, besting my regular spot in Menifee. The table salsa is just OK and got the job done. Service was solid, we stayed almost 2 hours and our server was wonderful til the end. Oddly the place was empty other then a few regulars at the bar, but I hear they are busy at night. I already can't wait to return

So my experiences vary depending on how I'm experiencing them-if delivery, not too pleasant because they don't secure their packages. If dine-in, they have yet to disappoint. Certainly recommend dining in I've had their flan, their super nachos and their huevos rancheros. The latter two, were perfect. THIS is my new go to spot for nachos-hard to find a place where you can get loaded nachos with nacho cheese and they have both shredded and nacho cheese sauce here. Just amazing. The huevos rancheros...well look at them. Doesn't that look delicious? It was. I won't speak on the flan because, well, I don't think I like flan much. The dining area is roomy. Service was prompt and friendly. Tvs going, arcade machines. This is a great spot with great food-just be weary of ordering delivery.

You walk up to order and they bring it to your table. I enjoy the cheese quesadilla and cheese enchiladas plate. The French fries with nacho cheese are a good option too. My husband loves the flautas and breakfast burrito. Ambiance is kind of bar like on one side and restaurant on the other. The tv is usually loud playing some sort of sports.
