Food is amazing! Don't be intimidated by the lack of customer service... they are moving fast and trying to feed the many many customers that come in. The food is amazing and and fresh. Closes you will get to authentic Mexican food. A little over prices but you will get food regardless of what you order because they fill the tacos to the brim. My first time coming to this place, I found it to be very good. The price and portion were to me very exceptable. Service and cleanliness top shelf. The food seems to be very authentic judging from the number of people who had frequented the business on the day I was their...so I just followed the crowd lol. The food is very good. This is probably the closest you will get to King Taco in the greater Riverside Area. Their prices are a little steep for tacos compared to other establishments of the same kind. The place is very small and in the same shopping center as Walmart. This is not a place you would want to dine in at nor shop at the nearby Walmart. You will want to take the food here to go. read more

This is your typical Southern California Taqueria. Since there's many around, competition breads higher standards, and this particular restaurant places somewhere in the middle of the stack. I ordered two tacos, chicken and lengua, and and had a small bite of an el pastor sope. The sope cups were handmade and fried crispy. The tacos were not homemade tortillas, just normal white corn tortillas. I liked the chicken, which had a grilled, not stewed, texture. The tongue was what I'd expect, and the el pastor was pretty spicy which I like. I would say the amount of meat was pretty small on each taco, harder to tell with the sopes since I only had a small bite. The pricing was relatively high, $1.69 a taco, you can find them for .99$ with equivalent quality and larger servings. Also, they don't leave the salsa cups out, instead they give you two with your meal. For two people, two small salsa containers is not quite enough. I would say at least 4-5 would be more appropriate. Also, they only allow one free refill for sodas, and the soda tasted oddly. We couldn't figure out what the taste was, but I really think it tasted like off-brand cola and not Pepsi. I really hate when restaurants overprice on beverages. In summation, the place is decent. However the price/quality ratio is off, and they cut corners on salsa and drinks. The restaurant across the street at Cardenas is cheaper with unlimited soda, better salsa selection, and bigger servings. read more

Great Mexican seafood! We had grilled and fried shrimp tacos, shrimp cerviche, carne asada quesadilla and carne asada taco. Food is prepared fresh and there is a fresh salsa bar. My fave was the cerviche but all of the items were delish. They were very busy when we came in but our food came out very quickly. Eating area and bathrooms were very clean. I'm vegan so I come here only for the potato tacos (no cheese no sour cream) cashier messed up order. Put cheese. So I told them I couldn't take them. So they tell me they will fix it. A few moments later they call me back so I ask them if they seriously just dusted the cheese off and the cook says yes. I explain how disrespectful that is to a vegan and she doesn't want to hear about it. She interrupted me and asked if I wanted them remade so I replied "yes please" I'm not the type to want to come up on free things but the least they could have offered was an apology. read more

Best taco shop in the area by far! We had rice, beans, fish tacos, carne asada tacos, carne asada burrito, chicken tacos and chicken enchilada. First timer and I could not have been more satisfied . I ordered carne asada tacos and my sister ordered the carne asada sope. They were both great! What I really liked about this place was that they have a little station where you can help yourself with the greatest salsa (sorry mom), grilled yellow chili peppers, lemons and GUCAMOLE! Yes! Great service, first and foremost. However, the food left something to be desired. Their salsas/sauces are incredible, but I got a carne asada burrito and carne asada fries for my girlfriend. The burrito wasn't incredible nor was the carne asada. The fries had a frozen taste to them, which is unfortunate because all of us carne asada fries connoisseurs know you have to have a good fry. Today we went in to discover you have raised your prices and changed your chicken salad. Tacos used to be $1.78 a piece and are now $2.19 a piece. Okay, fine. But the chicken salad, why did you need to change that?! Now it tastes like a salad from McDonald's, no flavor and the chicken is dry. Not worth the extra price tag either.
