Always come here love there food but today was the worst service. I placed a phone order at 1245 today for 6 tacos de Papa and 2 street tacos the women states 10 min I arrived paid for my order expecting it to be ready or at least almost ready. I waited 35 minutes for my order! The women states we had a last minute order of 100 burritos . They fell behind. I understand they couldn't miss out on the opportunity to make over 700 dollars on one order but, what about the customers who had placed orders before them. We have been living in Perris for the last 7 years and just recently went there last month. It's good food and they also have a salsa bar.

Are you kidding me?? No one has yelped about this fabulous Mexican establishment?! Well let me be the first to introduce the wonders of a restaurant that is called Tacos la Bufadora. This place offers the tastiest meat for your tacos, burritos, sopes, and tostaditas. You can choose from carne asada, pastor (spicy pork), lengua (tongue), chicken, etc. I always get the pastor for the tostaditas, it's so good! It's topped off with fresh crumbles of cheese... I don't know what kind of cheese it is, but it's SO good. On some days of the week, they offer items at a special price. If you come on Mondays, the tostaditas are only $1.25! On Tuesdays, they have potato tacos for $0.99, although I think they're already $0.99 regularly. By far, Wednesday is my favorite day of the week to come, since fish tacos are only $0.99! I forgot what they offer for Thursday and Friday exactly, but I think they offer taquitos. The (imitation) crab tostadas are so good! For $4, you get a Dixie cup full of (imitation) crab seviche and 2 tostadas. You can also get shrimp tostadas and shrimp cocktail. Mmm! They have a salsa bar, where you can pick up red or green chili sauce, picked onions, carrots, radishes, and jalapenos, and fresh lemons. The restaurant is pretty small - it's a row of tables down one side of a wall, with each table supposedly for 4 people, but pretty much impossible when the seat on the table behind you is occupied. It can get pretty stuffy, I think they should have some outdoor seating so they can lure the customers in! The service is nice and friendly. Quick, too! This small but cozy taco shop is kinda hidden in the walmart shopping center in Perris. It is not located in the best of places, but this place is definitely worth a visit. The menu doesn't have that many selections, however whatever food they do make is made just right. They have a different special everyday of the week. The best deals of the week are on Tuesdays for they $1.99 sopes and on Wednesday for the $.99 fish tacos. The sopes are very filling. The sope shell is freshly made and crispy to perfection. It is topped with any choice of meat along with beans, lettuce, tomato and grated Mexican cheese. Ordered the sopes with al pastor and chicken and both of the meats were good. Also have Mexican drinks such as horchata, tamarindo and jamaica. They also have a self serve salsa bar that has salsa ranging from mild to hot. The food also doesn't take too long to be made. If in Perris, instead of stopping at a fast food chain such as Taco Bell or Del Taco, you need to stop here and have delicious Mexican food. read more

PROS: - quick service all day (watch out one of the girls at register cannot count) - taco prices maybe 25cents more expensive than the taco truck, but oh so yummy. - meat not salty or greasy/ chicken not salty or greasy - shrimp tostada is plenty for 2 people to share and be satisfied, again order that extra taco lol. - they have an A from the city. - they have red and green salsa which are both good. lemon marinated onions, huge jalapenos, chiles guerros marinated/grilled in oil and pepper (super fabulous lemme tell u) - Mon: 3 potato tacos $1.99 - Tues: sopes also known as gorditas $2 each. Heavy, good, not greasy, and tasty. 1 is enough to be satisfied. 2 sopes will set u way over the top. Order a taco lol. - Wed: fish tacos $1- super yum-O - Thurs: 3 shredded chicken taquitos $3 - Fri: 3 shredded beef taquitos $3- my favorite - Sat: chicken nachos $4 - Sat: seafood soup which i see people order a lot. - Sun: seafood soup which i see people order a lot. Cons: - place is very small and sometimes the line to order is out the door. Seating is a problem frequently because locals know whats up. - water used for soda and ice is HORRIBLE. My wife and I were tired of the same old fish taco place and searched yelp for somewhere else to try. La Bufadora looked pretty good so we decided to try it. It was a Sunday afternoon and when we arrived the place was packed and there was a line of about 7 parties. I noticed right away that the clientele was diverse - there were lots of Latinos but also white and African-Americans. Interesting.... The line moved slow somewhat because the cashier was very careful about getting the orders right - reading back everything plus she occasionally broke away from the register to take care of a small task or two in the kitchen. Anyways, I ordered a variety of stuff. We tried the Shrimp Cocktail, Fish Tacos, Ceviche Tostadas and Street Tacos with Pacifico Beer & Coke. The kitchen staff was blazingly quick with getting our entire order out! Everything was good. The salsa bar and broiled whole chili peppers along with other condiment bottles let us tweak the flavor and spiciness. Place is kept pretty clean and tables are cleared quickly. Price is a bit steep but to be fair, I did order a lot for two people because I wanted to sample as much as possible. We have been back in the evening on a followup visit and everything was fine plus it wasn't crazy busy like the first time on a Sunday afternoon. read more

I tried this place based on Yelp and the minimal places to eat in Perris. I wasn't impressed. My friend had the agua chiles and said they were flavorless... she didn't eat them. That was a waste. This is a small restaurant but delicious besides that fact. It is located in the Cardenas and Wal-Mart Shopping Center. I dont live in this area so I have only been here a few times so I have only tried the fish tacos here and the carne asada tacos and they are both good. They also have a salsa bar that has all the fresh salsas plus they even grill whole yellow peppers and Jalapeno peppers that are lightly seasoned, which are also great for those of you that like hot stuff. I tried the nachos and my advise is they should change the recipe, NO bueno. The aguas frescas are ok , except the horchata.
