I was mistaken, I had been served disappointing news repeatedly on a variety of nights of the week about the 3-4 beers I would be interested ALWAYS, absolutely always being out of stock. I just want sips occasionally at that location and I was sure it just was never kept in stock from the amount of times I was told it was not available. Typical I would suggest eating elsewhere because consistently the same 4 beers I was interested were out. We stopped in on the 4th of July for their amazing shakes. While we were there, one of the owners took the time to talk with my husband after learning why we were in town. Then today, July 5th, my husband and our two boys went back for lunch. One of the owners sat down and spent time talking with my son, who struggles with a disability. In all our years, very few people have taken the time to truly sit down, listen, and encourage him the way he did. This owner shared some of his own struggles and told my sweet boy, "Keep fighting. God has you." Those words meant more than he will ever know. Kindness like that is rare, and it made a lasting impact on our family. If you're ever in Gonzales, please stop by and show them the same love and support they showed my son. I will definitely eat it for dessert instead of a drink with my meal. Would I get it again?
