Started with the Crawfish Kickers: crispy little crawfish bites that were gone quick. The Top Notch Loaded Fries came piled with cheese, jalapeños, and bacon and honestly could've been a meal by themselves. The Top Notch Cheeseburger with Fried Shrimp is exactly the kind of Louisiana combo I didn't know I needed; juicy burger with crispy shrimp on top? Say no more! Shrimp on a bun is pretty good - big pile of nicely fried shrimp, dressed with mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle (as it should be). But the bun is a bit doughy and undercooked. Whatever bakery is making these needs to leave them in the oven a few more minutes. Or maybe they could be toasted on site to finish them (maybe I should ask for toasted buns ). But overall it's a good sandwich. The wings are also good - just as good as the other location. And like the other location, I'd be all over these wings a lot more often if they had a mild buffalo flavor - the regular tastes very good, but it's a little too hot for me. The fries are great. Drove from Dallas to New Orleans today and after starting the trek back I decided to get some good food before getting a room. Yelp recommended Top Notch Seafood and I drove the extra 20 minutes for something delicious. Went to drive thru window and Ryan helped me order a grilled white fish salad with added chopped red onion and bacon. It was so delicious that it didn't need the side of Italian dressing. And what goes with a grilled fish salad but Mississippi Mud Pie. But the pie will be for breakfast. Can't wait to get back this way and try other items on their menu!! read more

Ooouuuu!!!!! Where do I START?!?!? Lmao.. I came here last night (06/15) spur of the moment for a quick evening catch-up dinner date. It was either this place I seen in my search results online or another dine-in that we ate at once before some years back. We chose this since it was both of our first visit, the food sounded good and the pictures of it looked great. We stopped here around 8pm, right before closing time at 9pm (sorry ). I didn't understand parking. We only noticed spaces for curbside pick-up and handicapped parking, including employee parking. So we have to figure that one out for next time. When we walked in, we were seated immediately. I guess bc there wasn't anybody else there except for another lady eating crawfish. The server took us to the patio which looked and felt so chill and relaxing. There was a bar set up very nicely and a tv to watch with a nice breeze going. I felt like I was sitting at an outdoor bar restaurant at Biloxi beach for a moment.... Lol My friend and I placed our orders. She ordered the 3lb crawfish platter with corn and potatoes, no sausage, and a side of melted butter, for about $25, and a daiquiri (dont remember the flavor). The crawfish were well seasoned and really good! I ordered a half and half tea lemonade. Talk about goodt!!!! And a fish on bun, loaded fries, since I couldn't up charge to the top notch crawfish fries, and the cheesy seafood bread (topped with shrimp AND crawfish). Another very tasty menu item. It was the best thing I had eaten that night. It was a little soft on the bottom, but I didn't care bc it was still very much worth it! I would have ordered two if I had known the flavors I had indulged. The fish on bun with that brioche bun was also top notch!!! And the loaded fries were cool/okay... maybe with a touch of sweet bbq sauce or Hawaiian bbq would have put a nice touch to it. Maybe even add bbq pulled pork on top. I wish I had y'all as a personal chef in my kitchen though. Lmao Overall, I give this place, a 10 out of 10. I wish I knew the name of the lady server, she was so sweet. And the male cook was super nice too. Another lady was there, and I can tell she was just ready to GO!! Haha!!! It was closing time though so we tried being quick and got out of there around 8:50pm. The food was great!!!! Which I should have expected (same owners as Top Notch Daiquiri). The service was good. All of the staff greet you with a smile. There's two bars (1 indoors and 1 outdoors). The patio is big! The only down fall about my visit was that my mom had to pay extra for sauce that was supposedly had already been on her potato. I didn't see any sauce. The manager said they even charge for butter . Lol, I never heard that one before.... I thought that was crazy. The camp close at 11:00 P.M. They even have a drive thru. read more

I had the boudin egg rolls and were so good. It comes with a sweet and sour type sauce. I also tried the crab jalapeño ball. It taste similar to a boudin ball. Comes with a spicy sauce like horseradish maybe. I asked for it all to be lightly fried so it was perfect and not all burnt hard. They listened ya'll. So excited. I tell you though the burgers are good. The buns are so soft a tiny bit sweet not a greasy burger but not dry either. So good. The fries also I asked to be lightly fried came out perfect opposed to those who didn't ask. They are fat and thin and look to be fresh cut. We sat on patio and the place was not loud on its own when we went. We had a date night there and everyone got there food in good timing. @20 of us that night. Staff was super nice. Always looking for a new place we decided on The Camp! It's clean and bright! You have a choice of indoors or outdoors under a roof. Our server was a really nice guy and right there for questions. I ordered the Camp cheeseburger and Julie got boneless wings. Julie just loved the wings! The burger you could tell it came out of the ice box and straight to the grill without being seasoned first, there's a taste that you can't get around. It's a big burger with tomato, onions, pickle and lettuce. The fries are cut thin and sprinkled with chili powder and garlic very good! Julie ate every bite and enjoyed it!! Since reopening under new management, my husband and I decided to give them another try. I ordered a fish plate with a side salad instead of fries. The fish was good. The side salad was an up charge of $2. Pictures below is the side salad. No idea I'd receive burger toppings for the "salad". What a waste of money. We feel ripped off. My husbands burger had hot, wet, brown lettuce. I called and spoke with a lady, who was nice and apologetic about the "salad". She said the manager would allow me to bring it back.
