Such a great experience at La Burguesía! Our server was super friendly and attentive. We appreciated that he split the milkshake into two cups for my husband and I to share. The mac and cheese was so tasty, and we loved their award winning burger with blueberry jam on it. The loaded fries were delicious too, and we loved the sauce flight they brought over with my dad's plain fries. A great local spot that we're so glad we checked out while visiting distrito t Mobil!
We had a craving for a burger for supper and this place had good reviews so we gave it a shot. We were not disappointed. The restaurant had ample seating, brick interior, and high ceilings for a fun, open atmosphere. We both like smash burgers, and while they had several interesting choices, I went with my typical lettuce and tomato plain version. It was so good. Nice and juicy. The burger comes with fries. They had several fry combos but I like mine plain, crispy and salty and that was exactly what we got as our side. We asked for ketchup and they bought that and a couple of other interesting dipping sauces. They offer a few craft beers from cans but they poured them into a frosted, cold glass. Nice touch. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our server was great. Great experience.
Came here two nights ago. First of all the location is amazing! We are in the T-Mobile district and this place is a party all on its own. But if you love music and amazing graphics, this can be your spot! The food - my hubby had the El DF impossible burger and he loved it! I had the Roquette Salad w/Shrimp. Delicia! The service and staff were all friendly. Like most people in Puerto Rico!
Our food was amazing. We waited about an hour for a table, and it was worth every single minute. Once seated, the service was excellent and our server was very friendly, attentive, and efficient. Our food arrived in about 20 minutes, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and fabulous. The ambience is hip and cool with a mix of modern décor, warm lighting, great music, and an energetic vibe that still feels comfortable. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a great meal and soak in a fun, stylish atmosphere. Highly recommended!
La Burguesía was a nice little place with specialties that most burger lovers will enjoy. For those who drink, there are local beers and cocktails. For those who don't drink there are mocktails. There are also shakes. We met a friend after he ordered and our food came out relatively quick. The waitress and staff were very pleasant and we were able to sit outside and people watch. I forgot to take a picture but I had the "not your daddy's cheeseburger"
Great service! Great food! Great environment! Absolutely loved our waitress! My sister has a soy/dairy allergy. She took the time to go through her options and double check the ingredients to see what she could eat from the restaurant. Food was great, we had a group of 10 people. Each got something different from the menu, everyone was satisfied. Burgers were too big, we didn't get a chance to try the desserts! But looked very appetizing!

Very chill place. Gives you the feel of Americanized burger culture at the entrance to Old San Juan. La Burguesia offers a great escape from the traditional arroz con gandules and Pernil it's so easy to find everywhere on the island. Our waiter Kevin was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was very busy, after all it was a Saturday night. Yet the busyness of the restaurant did not affect the service. Kevin was on it. For an appetizer, we ordered the peach crostini. A crostini topped with goat cheese, a slice of Serrano ham, drizzled with a peach glazed resting on a stream of a balsamic glaze. The crostini wasn't toasted enough for my liking and I'm also not a fan of goat cheese. My husband and friend enjoy it much more. I ordered the El DF (cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, an alioi sauce, bacon cheese fries! I loved everything! My husband had steak and fries. I tasted the steak, it was tender and flavorful. Our friend had the Caesar salad and added grilled chicken. Needless to say, plates were empty by the time we asked for the check. A definite recommendation for you to dine.
This place was awesome. The interior is absolutely beautiful. The seats are a little weird being mismatched, but it does add to the overall aesthetic. Service was outstanding. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated immediately. Took a little long to have our food ready but nothing to get upset about. The food set this place on fire though. Yes it was a hamburger but it was juice and cooked to perfection. Make sure you upgrade the french fries though. Plain might be good, BUT the upgrade options are amazing. Don't miss out on this place.
I enjoyed my visit to La Burguesía. The service was top notch. Everyone was incredibly friendly. The restaurant is clean and offers a variety of seating options. I sat at an indoor booth. There's also a view of the kitchen area. For my meal, I selected a smash burger with regular fries. Everything came out hot and fresh. The food was delicious; the burger was a tad bit salty for me. I'd return to try another option.
Best burgers ever, and that's coming from a girl who lives in Jersey! Nothing was greasy and everything our table had was excellent. We pretty much tried all the appetizers and they were all delicious. Menu was a little hard to read because of all the funky font, so if you get menu decision anxiety, check it out ahead of time and figure out what to order. Service was nice and fast and there was plenty of seating inside and out. Perfect spot if you're in the area and want elevated bar food. Best chicken sandwich I've ever had!

Oh how I wanted to like this place. Such a great location and the photos looked great. Maybe, it was a bad night but, it was not a good experience. For apps, we had the tuna and goat cheese croquette, both were okay but not super flavorful. The real downside was the burgers. They were the most dry and unflavored burgers I've had in years and years. Both were absolutely awful. The hubby liked his fries but I thought mine tasted like they were cooked 5 hours earlier and then, refried. Service was fine, but it was busy. I dont want to be harsh but I am usually very kind in these reviews and negatives are rare for me. It was just a very disappointing meal.

Oh how I wanted to like this place. Such a great location and the photos looked great. Maybe, it was a bad night but, it was not a good experience. La Burguesía was pretty good. The food was a good portion and tasted pretty good although I did feel like the bacon was a little undercooked. I loved both of the fry options that we got, which were the truffle fries and the bacon and cheese fries. The service was also good and the food was also pretty fast coming out. The ambiance was nice and gave an industrial hipster vibe. read more

My friend and I were seated pretty quickly and our orders were taken shortly after. However, it did take a while for our orders to be brought out. We asked several times about our order and our waitress didn't know what was going on. She left early without saying she was leaving. It was a weird situation. The burger and fries were good when they eventually were brought out. It is a around noon and the place was empty read more

If you're ever visiting San Juan, I would recommend visiting La Burguesía and order the bacon burger. Portions are pretty big and the price of a meal is around $16-20 depending on what you order. The beef patty is juicy and flavorful and you can see them grinding the beef in the back. Fries are crispy and come with four different dipping sauce: ketchup, garlic aioli, bbq, either cilantro mayo or a thousand island sauce. Service here is pretty good and it seems that the restaurant is located in a pretty popular strip. read more

Thai place was so dope, service was on point. The place was not crowded which was a chill vibe. Our food was fresh and the burgers were very unique. I always love a good burger. Prices were not bad to me. The milkshakes were amazing!!! read more
My burger selection was great, and the service was attentive and friendly, even though they knew I was a tourist visitor and wouldn't be returning as a regular. I still felt valued, which it all I should ask for. Nice beer options, and the dining room area was very clean. This location can get very busy, especially if there is an event taking place in the main center. It might be considered a bit overpriced, but I have zero complaints about that myself. I would easily return here on a repeat visit to San Juan, and I find it easy to recommend to others. Go and enjoy!! read more

Ambiance and customer service was great! Very knowledgeable staff who can give you recommendations based on what you're looking for if you're unsure and want to know household favorites. Overall the food was a 9/10. Loved the croquettes. Crispy outside and flavorful inside with that goat cheese filling, definitely give it a try. Also had a shake for myself and my wife. I had the s'mores one and my wife the dulce de leche. Loved the s'mores one, they really made it an authentic s'more shake with graham crackers, with chocolate swirls and Hershey pieces. My wife liked her dulce de leche shake but it was sweeter than she wanted so 8/10. Food wise we both got the El Captain burgers, which were delicious. Just wished they had more sauce tbh, but it's something you can ask for. . Couldn't remember the name of the fries but they didn't come out crispy so the sauces just made them soggy. Will probably just go with the truffle fries next time to keep it simple. read more

Conveniently located in the Distrito T-Mobile entertainment compound at the San Juan Convention Center. Thankfully I visited this restaurant twice because I really had interests in giving it a 5* after my first visit. This was a really pleasant burger experience. I think what separates this burger restaurant from other restaurants is the details in how the burgers are assembled. The buns are fresh and sit atop the burger; it's not smashed into the burger or soggy. They are very sturdy, capable of holding together the burger and toppings, and absorbent. On the first visit I ordered a build-your-own burger topped with sautéed onions and plantain. The thought of having plantain on a burger piqued my interest and thankfully it turned out to be a delicious payoff. The plantains were firm and not soggy. Again, investment in detail. The plantains had bite and everything about the burger was fresh and flavorful. On the second visit I ordered a fried chicken sandwich with bacon cheese fries. Both were exceptional. The chicken burger was so fresh and the chicken was fried perfectly. The fried batter was very light and airy and didn't bury the chicken which is common in many chicken sandwiches. This burger offered enough texture that you appreciate that it is a fried chicken sandwich however not excessively crunchy that it takes your mind away from the nice cut of chicken. The bacon cheese fries were very well and sensibly prepared with fresh bacon. My only disappointment is the fact the dining area seating is very compact. For the service and ambiance to be so exceptional the dining area has seating accommodations commensurate to a small takeout burger joint. It's not a big issue however I did think the seating was inappropriate. Overall a great burger experience which I recommend. read more
