We came here as our first restaurant and meal in Barcelona, well, Sitges. We've always believed the smaller the place, the better quality the food and we were bang on. First and foremost, the staff here is awesome, very polite and attentive. We wanted to order more food but based on the waiter's recommendation, he suggested we do not as it would be too much food so here is what we settled on: Homemade meat croquettes, shaped into fairly large sized rectangles, deep fried with a nice crispy and breaded texture and drizzled with some homemade balsamic vinegrette sauce that was slightly sweet and served with freshly made bread, this was delicious and almost filled us up. This was only our appetizer too. Because my wife and I are not big fans of seafood, we ended up going with the vegetarian paella and it was amazing. It had artichokes, green peppers, carrots, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, slices of tomatoes, thin slices of zucchinis over a bed of rice that was very 'risotto' like. We couldn't even finish it and felt awful for leaving it behind. I definitely recommend this place and will go back to try the other items on their smaller set menu which is what we live by. Make a small number of things very well rather than a lot of things mediocre. 5 stars all the way! read more
