flautas were soggy thanks to the beans being poured over. Sampler platter 2 nachos. Potato skins? Quesadilla was soggy and not edible.

Had food delivered via Door Dash and feel that if the restaurant had properly packaged my order, I wouldn't be writing this post. Food was delivered all sloshed around. Not to mention you could tell it had been sitting a while. Initially ordered at 5:30, ETA was 6:10. Delivered around 6:30. On Uber, they could have handled the food better and may have not been cold either.

Great food, relaxed atmosphere, good lunch specials. Not sure why they are rated so low, this place is great.

Food, service and ambience is great! Just moved to Texas from California. So finding this authentic Mexican food and drinks are amazing! Thank you for the great service.

Came here for a quick dinner to celebrate getting married!!! So glad we did!! Our waitress was kind and fast. The chips and salsa were so tasty! The queso with freshly cooked hot chips were amazing!! We got half spinach and half beef quesadillas for our main dish, and they were delicious. The margaritas are really good and one is enough! Definitely look forward to coming back in the future and will be craving their queso until then!!

This place doesn't ever seem to be busy so we were a little nervous to try it. When we sat down on a Saturday at 5:30 pm we were the only customers. Service was excellent. Drinks were constantly refreshed, they checked back without being intrusive. Music was a tad loud but that's common these days. Overall the food was good, chicken was better than the beef. I had the pollo parillo, which came with chicken, peppers, Swiss cheese and mushrooms. This dish was excellent, huge portions and came with 4 flour tortillas that were nice and thin. Husband had the el trio enchiladas plate. The beef enchiladas were pretty bland, but the chicken one was tasty. The queso was just okay, but if you mix it with the salsa they bring to the table - pow it was awesome! The salsa is served warm so it won't make the queso seize up. We are new to the area and this is the fourth Mexican restaurant we've tried, and I would say my favorite out of the local places at this point.

We drove from Houston to see an Elvis impersonator performing here. Interesting twist to Mexican food on a Saturday night. Not that I'm a huge fan, but something different to do. I didn't realize the restaurant was right by Cinco Ranch, so the drive from Houston wasn't so far if you take the West Park Tollway. About 20 minutes or so. The place was packed and I don't think it was just to see "Elvis". I would assume this is your local popular Tex-Mex joint. Tons of families and couples. Lots of kids. They have a large, full bar. I ordered 2 margaritas. They were quite good. My friend ordered the stuffed poblano pictured below. It was yummy. Another friend ordered the Galveston Snapper and oh my wow!!!! I'd recommend that. The prices were very reasonable and the menu is huge! It was a little taken back about the smoking at the open bar, but I forgot that this city girl wasn't in Houston anymore. I mean there are kids running around everywhere! Yikes! But hey, I'm not the parent police. There are separate rooms so I suggest if you bring your kids sit in those away from the smokers. I'm sure it's more smokey at night.

    Yummmmmmm

Enjoyed the margaritas and excellent customer service from Katie. She expertly managed multiple tables, including an 8 top with ease and a smile. The restaurant was pretty busy since it was graduation week. I ordered the ground beef soft tacos with a side of black beans. My friends had the Marisco Bowl and a platter. Management was helping out and delivered our food. All the food items were hot and plentiful. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. Multiple members of management stopped by to check and see how we were doing and to chat briefly to make sure we were having a good experience.

Our fajita meat today was old, and smelled off. We requested medium but it came beyond gray, and zero char- it was sweaty. This showed up within four minutes. The rice was dried out. The beans were, too. As I said- two thirds of the time is great. Sometimes bad visits happen. Then comes the annoying dance: I do *not* want a manager. I sure didn't need an argument (!) from the server about cooking theory. Not looking for free food. We were very hungry and now have to go find another restaurant. We paid and we left. All done. No desire to keep playing roulette with which experience we can expect, and the server pushback was the kicker. You'll be fine without us.

This spot is much smaller & broken up into rooms/sections. They told me if I didnt want a frozen margarita which they had in the machines I needed to order the Margarita's that were on the menu. The food, the ambience, and the service are all outstanding. We went for Cinco de Mayo and the restaurant was packed however, from what I understand, it is often packed. Let's start with our server who was just wonderful. He not only guided us through the meal and the drinks, but he had very practical recommendations. His service was timely, and his friendliness was wonderful. We have the fajitas which were not only an apple serving, but the beef chicken and shrimp were all very flavorful. Typical to fajitas it came with enough accompaniments to really really make Forray a wonderful meal. The serving is so ample that it became a takeout meal as well. The ambience is typical of Mexican restaurants. However, the people who we were dining with in the same small dining room were incredibly friendly and old-time customers of the Restaurant. I can't tell you how many years. But given the food and service, I understand why. I'm guessing because it was Cinco de Mayo. There was also a mariachi band and they were just wonderful and added to the venue considerably. If you're in or around Katie Texas, you really do need to stop here.

Inside it is spacious and has some colorful and lively decor. Great for groups or solo at the bar. Service: 5/5 The hostess was friendly and immediately directed me to my friend's table. Once seated, the waiter was very attentive and accommodating in checking in on us and getting our orders going. Food: 5/5 We ordered the beef and chicken fajitas to share. The beef fajitas were flavorful just as I'd hoped but the chicken was a bit dry. With the order we each get our own plate of rice and beans and choice of tortillas. The flour tortillas were delicious, almost like home made, so much so that I took the leftovers tortillas home to enjoy with butter. The highlight for me was the Skinny Margarita with my customization of adding a shot of Amaretto. I've been disappointed at other places because they never taste fresh, or have an extremely tart flavor, but the bartender had it down to a science because when I tell you from my first sip it was like heaven! Fresh, not too sweet and I only had one and was tipsy, I wasn't the only one. My two friends got the same one and agreed it was delicious and they too were tipsy. And you get your money's worth. I don't live in this area, but for this margarita, I may have to visit again soon. I'm thirsty thinking about it as I'm writing this and likely still thinking about it while you're reading this. I didn't get as many photos as I usually do, apologies, but I did get the Skinny margarita. Overall it was a good time, with good food and good drinks.

Between Saturday and Sunday, the only meal I had was Neca's nachos. I had to go to urgent care, where I was put on an IV and given medication to treat what was diagnosed as food poisoning. In addition to the above facts, my toddler ate a bit off my plate Saturday/Sunday and exhibited symptoms similar to mine. On Monday, June 30th at 9:04am, I called to share my experience with the staff. To be clear, my intention in calling was not to leave a negative review, but simply to bring the matter to the restaurant's attention - privately. Unfortunately, the owner, Albert, was defensive throughout the call. He said things like, "I don't doubt that happened, but we've never had a complaint," and dismissed my experience rather than showing concern. I explained I wasn't calling to leave a bad review but to make them aware. But alas, here we are. If you're looking for a place with good food and quality customer service, I suggest you look elsewhere. But if you're fine risking your health and dealing with defensive owners, Neca's may be the place for you.
