These guys get a 3 only for trying to make a wrong right. Went to Fulshear for a birthday party. 12 adults and three children. They recommended the hostess order the Fajita Dinner #2. It arrived and there was not enough food for each person to have even one taco. There was one small container of refried beans and one of charro beans - only enough for 4-6 people. Each person could have had one teaspoon of beans. When we called they insisted we got the right amount of food. The receipt even said we should have received two of charro, two refried and two rice yet they argued no we should only get one and that was enough food for 10-12 people. After much discussion we said we'd just bring it back and go out to eat somewhere else. $215 for 14 tacos is insane. Food is pretty good but BEWARE if you're ordering takeout! We could have fed the whole family at menu prices for this amount and had food left over. They finally agreed that they would prepare more beef and beans if we'd come pick it up, so we did. Shouldn't have to deal with this! We are long time customers and send a lot of business and money their way. We definitely expect more. More food, more service, more effort. read more

Some of the best chili gravy around!!! Grew up going to the Fry Rd location, tried the Fulshear one last night. We started with an appetizer sampler - its enough for 2 people to share but I wouldn't say more than 2 because there is only 2-3 of each item. I want it to be clear to owner's response, the meal was not completed. We stopped eating immediately when we saw that roach, another customer who saw it at the same time as we did screamed and got up from her chair. So the meal was abrubtly over with most of our food still on the table because we were disgusted. We did not take any home. We stood up and walked away from the area where the roach was. Over $100 wasted. We complained to employees as soon as we saw it. We didn't just sit there see a roach and keep eating. We came on a Wednesday evening, party of 7. My sister recommended the spot. I have to say I was really pleasantly surprised because many of the reviews are sort of "meh". We were so hungry... Because there was a 20 minute wait for a table, and we had a flat tire on the way to the restaurant! Eek! So by the time we did sit down to eat and get our food, I forgot to take pictures because we dove right into a side of Queso, Two people in our party took advantage of the Wednesday 2-for-1 fajita special, everybody else ordered individual dinners or shrimp quesadillas. Went to Victors Mexican Grill on Saturday December 28th and everything was great, minus the curious stares, as my wife and I were the only black people in the entire place. Our server was a young blonde haired white guy who couldn't have been nicer in making us feel comfortable. We ordered the chicken fajita nachos for 18$ which came with an ample amount of chicken and fixings. Went back today because my wife wanted another order of nachos to go, we received a skimpy order of nachos with a sprinkle of chicken, nothing like Saturday night. When my wife returned it saying hey what happened to the portion size from Saturday, a rude little man in a yellow Adidas hoodie was very disrespectful to her,I go in and he continues to ve a jerk saying he's not refunding anything and got disrespectful in front of other customers, so I had to let him know to watch his mouth and he threatened to call the police i waited, yet no police showed up. I figured he was bluffing as majority of the staff couldn't speak English and were probably illegal. If you are a person of color I would tell you to stay the hell away from Victor's Mexican Grille Fulshear. I refuse to be disrespected after paying my money for a subpar meal and service. My husband and I moved here a year ago in June. This restaurant was one of the first places we tried. They never disappoint. Their tortilla soup is full of veggies and meat. The fajita is tender. The drinks taste great. We would recommend for the price, service, and ambiance. Their booths are intimate. The bar area has a fun and classic cantina feel. The wait staff are attentive and courteous. Enjoy a girls night, birthday with family and friends or romantic dinner with significant other. On Sunday we ordered through UberEats. Biggest regret so far y'all this place is awful. Both my husband and I have horrible stomach pain following our meal from here. The food (beef enchiladas and carbon enchiladas) went straight into the trash can after my husband and I realized how bad it was. The meat is mystery meat and a little funky tasting and they try and cover up the weird food with an enormous amount of bland queso. We live close to this restaurant and eat there occasionally. The food is mediocre. We took our two granddaughters there on Monday and asked for a kids menu. After ordering, we noticed that kids ate free on Mondays, which was a nice surprise. When we got our bill, I noticed that they had charged us full price, $8 each, for the kids' meals. I asked about it, and the waiter said that the kids only ate free if the adults ordered a meal and a drink. My wife and I always drink water and never order a soft drink with a meal. I asked how much soft drinks were, and they said $3.25. I asked for them to charge us as if we had had a soft drink, which they did. Paying $6.50 for nothing is better than paying $16 for 2 free kids meals is better, I guess, but ridiculous. Their kids menu says nothing about this policy. It does say that the kids meal includes a soft drink, but milk is $1.95. I don't like to be surprised when I get my bill. I'll probably go back to Victor's because it's convenient, but I don't appreciate this ridiculous policy. read more

Sitting at Victor's as we speak and very disappointed. Have been a customer of the original one in Katy since 1991 I believe and we have been coming to the Fulshear location for about 3 years now, I believe Victor's son owns this one. They advertise fajitas for two on Wednesday. We always get the 1/2 chicken and 1/2 pork which on the regular menu is the same price, $18 for 1 or $35 for 2. The combo fajitas are $20 for 1 and $39 for 2. The beef fajitas are $23 for 1 and $45 for 2. Today was the day they wouldn't honor our order and today is the last day that we will support this restaurant. They wanted to charge the regular price, which is $10 more than the special. The way I look at it, by ordering chicken & pork instead of chicken & beef or all beef is actually saving them money. The manager I believe is who helped us and his explanation was that the system/computer wouldn't let him order it. The menu does not indicate any restrictions either, eg, beef and/or chicken only. Maybe they need to update it. The two stars are because hubby likes their chicken enchiladas and that is what Here ordered since no fajita special and because the gentleman that always pours our tea is so very nice. I know that our 2-4 monthly visits won't be missed but also know that word of mouth advertising is very important too. read more

Today I get a text through their rewards program that they have all you can drink mimosas for brunch. Show up and was told they're out of mimosas. Order the Migas con Huevos and when it arrives there's no bacon because they were out of that too. The irritating thing about that is I had to ask why my plate didn't have bacon. Taste and quality lacking 3. Incorrect Order 4. Difficulty Ordering: we were unable to order by phone as they never picked up after being transferred to the Bar? 5. Takes a long time to pick up at the bar as staff walk back and forth without acknowledging anyone. First off, I drove 30 min to this location as the other location is currently in the process of relocating. I entered the restaurant with my medical alert service dog (who was wearing his service vest which specifies he is medical alert, not to pet and my medical info is in vest pockets). He was under control and standing beside me. When I asked for a table, the host asked for my dog's "ID" card. I explained that he did not have one, but he is wearing his identifiable vest and we also have it engraved on his collar tag (for instances when he is not vested). The host insisted he needed to see the ID listing him as a service dog. I further explained that these do not exist, and are just purchased online by people who want to pass their dog as a working animal. I stated that my dog was a medical alert animal for my medical condition and was professionally trained to do his job. The host began to become agitated and said no, you cannot be here without the registered ID. I was then refused service and we had to leave. This location of Victor's is non-compliant with the federal laws set in place by the ADA and clearly is unwilling to accommodate guests with disabilities. read more
