It's been a few months since I have eaten at this restaurant but it didn't disappoint. The atmosphere is great, the staff is always welcoming and professional. Shortly after you're seated they immediately attend to you. The food here is always delicious and amazing. I forgot what this plate is called but it's a winner. My friends and I came here for dinner around 5 on a Friday. The staff greeted us warmly and we were promptly seated. There seemed to be a bit of a disconnect with the servers as they seem to not be assigned to tables, but just maybe using an "all hands on deck" approach. It caused some confusion with drink orders, and there were just three of us. I had the enchiladas callejeras, which I had only ever found in Laredo. They came out nice and hot, but flimsy and not really filled much with cheese. The refried beans and rice were good, as were the red and green house made salsas offered with the chips. the food is amazing. They make their own tortillas and the fajita is seasoned to perfection. The Beans?!?!!? wow. Well, what about price. Very reasonable. Unlike other places that charge ridiculous amounts for Fajita. Remember, that's skirt or Faja. At the grocery store its like $6/pound. Some places in town charge almost $60. Here you can buy a Kilo for less than that and it comes with Cebolla, frijoles, y todo. The cheriqueso is superb as is the Cabrito. I was working in Laredo like I've done before, but my friend told me about this place, and I've never stopped in. Decided to give it a try. Hands down, BEST. CARNE. ASADA. PLATE. EVER! We stayed in Laredo over night an the receptionist at the hotel referred us to this place said they delivered The prices were not too bad a little on the pricy side but we don't mind if it's authentic food... Much different then any Mexican restaurant up north I don't speak Spanish and the girl on the phone didn't speak much English but we got it together an got our order placed Hubby had the trio fajitas and both types of beans.. I had just chicken fajitas and extra order of beans Also ordered Flan... I'm very picky with Flan and there was amazing I would of give 5 stars except 1) the guacamole was very bald ( maybe it's suppose to be but not what I'm use to ) 2) the fajita was served whole not chopped up 3) no sour cream even tho we ordered it 4) rice left a lot to be desired in my opinion but hubby liked it But on a plus side the meats were very tender seasoned excellent the beans ( both) were amazing !! We were recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The mango margarita was so good, it has Chile in it too. Almost tasted like a chamoyada. They had great happy hour specials. They had a great menu with a lot of options. My husband and I shared the 1/2 kilo of 3 meats, sirloin, arrachera & sausage. It also came with grilled onions & nopalitos (sliced cactus) it was just like being in Mexico and my family's bbq. We also had the Choriquezo (melted cheese w' chorizo) it was delicious! The staff was very friendly. They did not have a problem explaining any of the dishes and the food did not take long to come out. We will be coming here again next time we are in Laredo. read more

Great place to enjoy a good meal with family and friends. Lots of space and the staff was very friendly. The chips and tortillas were homemade but not a big fan of the salsa. Wish I had more choices with that. My wife ordered the steak and send it back for it was overlooked. She did receive another that was much better. This is the restaurant that best represents Laredo. Everyone knows that Laredoans love their carne asada and this is the place to go to get it. It has the most tastiest, juiciest meats (for a reasonable price) in Laredo. I tasted the arrachera and the chicken fajita and they were perfect. They have lunch specials from 11am to 3pm so I think I had a lunch portion but it was very generous. I also tried their choriqueso which was the best choriqueso I have ever tasted. We also order 1/2 order of guacamole (the whole order is $10.00) and it was enough for 4 people and it was real guacamole and not the canned guacamole you get at some restaurants. Their tortillas were also good- the corn, the flour and even the tortilla chips that they served at the table had a homemade taste and were delicious. I am a iced tea fanatic and their iced tea was extra ordinary- clear and sweet. The atmosphere is very traditional of a Mexican restaurant but very spacious and clean. The restaurant is really big and is sort of sectioned off into three parts (one of them has a bar) so I am sure they can accommodate a semi private function. The waitress and staff provided excellent service. We were greeted in English and our orders were taken in English(which is very rare in Laredo). They also have their own bakery next door with a varied selection of Mexican pastries. This is going to be the new favorite restaurant for locals but it is also going to be the perfect place to bring and impress your out-of-town guests. read more

How can fajitas taste so damned delicious? How could a cup of frijoles be so exquisite? The flour tortillas are mouth watering as well, and are perfect for enveloping your meat, chili, avocado & pico de gallo.....I visited this establishment after an evening of heavy beer drinking, and I was hooked.....In my humble opinion, this restaurant serves some of the best tasting grilled fajitas in Laredo! Good Mexican food but a little exaggerated on the prices. Dishes are served differently. For example, fajitas are served whole instead of sliced. I had chicken fajitas and they were a little dry. Guacamole was very very bland. Some of the servers didn't speak English, so be sure to brush up on Spanish or bring a fluent friend.
