The authentic tacos here are simply lacking. In fact, some of the lowest quality I've had in the metro and I've tried nearly all of them. The toppings inconsistent, meats were dry, low on flavor, and not even cut right with off textures. Tortillas also stiff and dry. The tortillas and meats should be griddled to order, adding some warmth and especially flavor with a little greasy goodness. They don't seem to be doing that here, or at least not nearly enough. Maybe we just got unlucky on our couple of visits? I was hoping for more since I frequent the area, and this part of the city has very few authentic Mexican food options.

Fantastic tacos, the refried beans were delicious as well. The chicken was great, asada was better, but the birria was the best.

I'm pretty sure the rustic appeal enhances their food, because it was delicious! The friendliness of their staff made me want to order more than originally planned. Can I say anything more positive? Yes! I got their blue and gold chicken tenders. It came with their homemade chips and potato salad. If they weren't out of the 3-bean salad, I would have gotten a side of that as well. If y'all aren't feeling any of those sides, they also offer fries (a mixture of traditional fries and sweet potato fries) or a side salad for an additional $1. Dipping sauces include ranch, honey mustard and a Korean bbq! You will eat the entire basket. Don't try to convince yourself you're not hungry. Get the regular size or the large. Leave the Jr for the kids! Pleasantly satisfying without a heavy feel that most fried food brings. If you're looking for a eating tip, I suggest using the homemade chips as a spoon with the potato salad. The combination of textures and flavors is divine! I know you're thinking, is this really a food truck or a 5 star restaurant? I'm going to say maybe both haha. Give them a shot! They will impress you in more ways than one!

Service: the girl who took my order was super friendly, which is no great surprise as at that point pretty much everyone was my best friend. The food came out fairly quickly too, and just as quickly as it was received it was eaten Food: I mean, it's not the best food you're ever going to eat, but it was a pretty good amount of food and definitely filling! Apparently their brownies are amazing? I guess I need to go again and try that and their sandwiches. Definitely a place I'd try again, but not a place I'll rave about.

Price: pricey for portion size - lobster roll is a hotdog bun size. Saltiness/seasoning: everything was just bland - the lobster tasted like the butter, and the bisque tasted like it was watered down. Temperature: Waited in line for fresh, the lobster roll was warm and cold at the same time, and the bisque was watered down with no lobster chunks and cold. Pre-Packaged: The Woopied Pie was premade/prepacked and is frozen solid, it is inedible. -Lobster Roll, plus bisque, plus woopie pie was over $40 and that did not include the mandatory tip. Always wanted to try it - now I have, not returning (over-priced, bland, pre-made). UPDATE: I was able to speak with Bethanie, the Customer Relations Manager, for about 10-15 minutes to discuss my concerns. Our conversation was helpful, and it appears this was likely an isolated incident. I've agreed to visit the OKC truck the next time it's in town and will update my review afterward. Because of the professional and thoughtful customer service interaction, I'm updating my rating from one (1) star to two (2) stars. How a company handles concerns can shape how the overall experience is remembered, and it's clear Cousins Maine Lobster has passionate people behind their brand.

My wife suggested Jimador Mexican Restaurant, and since we had enjoyed it once before--especially the guacamole--we were happy to return. The complimentary chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful, and the guacamole was every bit as good as we remembered. If you visit, I'd definitely recommend starting there. For our entrées, I ordered the lunch fajitas while my wife chose the taco salad. Unfortunately, neither dish was particularly memorable. My wife felt her taco salad lacked flavor and could have used more lettuce and cheese. I tried a bite myself, and I'd have to agree--it just didn't stand out. The lunch fajitas were decent, but they weren't what I expected. They contained much more tomato than traditional fajitas, which changed the overall flavor profile. On the positive side, the service was excellent. Our server was attentive, friendly, and kept everything moving smoothly. The atmosphere was also quiet and relaxing, making it an easy place to enjoy lunch. Overall, Jimador delivered on service, chips, salsa, and guacamole, but the entrées missed the mark this time. I'd return again, but next visit I'll definitely order something different.
