Its family owned and has fresh seasonal produce like corn from out east, tomatoes...etc. They also grow organic produce on the land and will pick it for you if it's ready like fresh basil and stuff. Christmas time they have the most amazing wreath designs and grave blankets. Spring and summer it's like a farmers market and then fall they turn the greenhouses in to a haunted house. The also have a farm stand and receive deliveries from farms out east on the Island daily. Not the widest selection of fruits and veggies, but they go by what is in season. SUPER FRESH - Seafood Department…read more I've had a heck of a time with supermarket fish mongers lately. But Super Fresh's Seafood Department has made a fan out of me. Jason, the Manager, understood my concerns and accommodated my requests without hesitation. The last thing any customer wants is to splurge on a prime piece of seafood only to receive an unscaled, ammonia smelly disappointment. Sadly, I've had that unpleasant experience while dining at a high end restaurant. For Shame! Another unpleasantry, encountering a fish monger at a supermarket who states they're not allowed to scale fish. Oh really?! Sounds more like lazy to me. Back to the positives. Though busy, Jason took the time to go to the back and pull out half a body of freshly delivered Chilean Sea Bass and masterfully scaled and portioned out my request with ease. Fast forward a couple of weeks later, I prepared this still fresh, buttery, umami filled Sea Bass, fulfilling our desire for an ideal meal. NOTE today October 1 2022 Cancelled Family Fun Day due to very bad weather expectations and rain…read more It is a great little Fun Fair done yearly and honed down and built up , each year to be as good or better than the last with great efforts from Joanne Zenewitz, Jennifer, David, Jane and many many other staff , Master Gardeners, 4H groups and other Volunteers. There is effort in progress to see if it can be rescheduled for October 8, 2022. If not then perhaps another day or incorporated for another future event. The farm itself is a nice place to visit. the Cornell Cooperative Extension is there various hours - check their web site for help with plant, pest, soil and general learning about gardening. A worthy place to check out and visit.

I learned a lot about the services that are available from Cornell Cooperative, including soil testing and resources for gardening based on current research and best practices ( just like nursing!) . I spent some time with one of the vegetable experts, learning about heirloom tomatoes. Our conversation rewarded me with a fresh off the vine purple Cherokee and 2 freshly pulled organic beets to add to those I had already purchased. Children were allowed in the veggie garden to pick a bag of crops. There is also an Airstream on property that serves farm to table panninis and salads. Proprieter Rudy asked for the privilege of placing her business on YELP, but you can see her menu and beautiful smile in my farm pictures.
