Finally! I personally witnessed a woman bring her pet dog…read moreinto the produce section which immediately pooped on the floor next to my cart. The woman had no bags with her and ASKED THE MANAGER if HE had anything to clean it up with! He directed her to the nearby PRODUCE bag dispenser. He then politely informed her that animals are not allowed in food markets except for extreme exceptions ( people who have serious disabilities, and have no other choice) and asked her to remove her dog from the store. I know people LOVE their pets, like I love mine, but they don't belong in food stores and restaurants! It's disgusting.

This was the second time at this Trader Joe's, it's one of the bigger ones that I have seen…read moreallowing easy navigation thru the aisles. It also has the most cash registers ( I believe 9) that I have seen in a TJ. Team members on the floor were all helpful and pleasant. When I asked a team members where a specific item was located the team member would walk me over to where the product was to ensure I found it quickly. When we went to checkout was when things started going wrong. We got behind a customer who was just finishing up when Jaime T (per our receipt) came over and got us stating there was no wait in his line. I handed Jaime our reusable bags who then stated "Just put those at the back of the check stand". At that point I told Jaime I would be right back, I was going to grab a case of water. When I returned 2 minutes later Jaime was 3/4 done with the checkout however I noticed my spouse was starting to bag our own items, and not the way TJ team members normally bag purchases (neatly with maximizing the space in the bags). We were checking out at 11:20, the other open check stands had one or no customers in them and Jaime had no one behind us at his checkout. My spouse stated it wasn't a big deal but when you have one TJ team member not doing what you have come to expect it is disappointing. I hope this was just a one off event and not an ongoing behavior of this one TJ team member.

Oliver's is our go-to market.. I'm talking 3, 4, 5 times a week we visit as we live around the…read morecorner. Every aspect of them is delicious, fresh and local. Their produce at two price points of conventional and organic, their meat section offering all local and fresh options, their bakery is delicious and so beautiful, their deli with to-go food and sandwiches, and the soups are amazing, their taco and sushi bar, along with their hot food and salad bar all cannot be beat. They also have a bulk section for nuts, spices, honey, water, candy, coffee, etc. and offer everything else a grocery store would. The prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores, but you're paying for quality. Everything is fresh, the store is always so clean, and people are for the most part always friendly. They hire people with special needs, which in my opinion, is my favorite part of visiting there. Their butchers are always so friendly and helpful. Their only downfall is SOME of their cashiers. They often are lost in their own conversations, and do not greet or engage their customers. They can come across as rude or unfriendly for this reason. But over all, Olivers is my go to spot for all local meats, delicious and beautiful cakes, and to-go food. Highly recommend.

Visiting Cotati for work and stopped at Oliver's for a snack. This is an amazing market. Picked up some coffee and just wondered around looking at all Oliver's had to offer. The spirit and wine selection was impressive. If I lived near by Oliver's would be my go too.

I left a review 12 years ago with 5 stars. I've taken one star off because times have changed…read more Usually only one cashier line is open. I use self-checkout which often has a wait these days. The store has minimal customers. Prices are high, so I rely on their great membership deals. What I do love most about Raley's are the employees. Great people! Those who have been there for years know their customers. It feels like home. I appreciate that in a world that has become more and more anonymous.

Years ago I really liked Raley's but in recent years they have really let the store go. The prices…read moreare higher than most places which I could forgive if they had nice talented cashiers. Unfortunately the people are mostly kids that would rather be anywhere else and you can hear it in their voices as they are ringing you up. I could even forgive this as I know how hard it is to find good people in the current job pool. What I cannot forgive is all the rotten and long expired food. I have been tracking this over my last 3 visits and have found the same moldy tortillas, the same rotting meat that is growing more mold daily. Every Raisin Rice Pudding that I checked was expired by at least 2 weeks with some of them being expired by 6 weeks. This goes back to the staff that is hired. Nobody cares anymore, so the jobs that used to be done are ignored. For now, I am switching to Trader Joe's and Lucky. Maybe I will try again in a few months and see if anything has changed. Come on Raley's! Do better!
