Very rude service and unneeded, as well as charges a debit minimum which isn't allowed

Their produce at two price points of conventional and organic, their meat section offering all local and fresh options, their bakery is delicious and so beautiful, their deli with to-go food and sandwiches, and the soups are amazing, their taco and sushi bar, along with their hot food and salad bar all cannot be beat. They also have a bulk section for nuts, spices, honey, water, candy, coffee, etc. and offer everything else a grocery store would. The prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores, but you're paying for quality. Everything is fresh, the store is always so clean, and people are for the most part always friendly. They hire people with special needs, which in my opinion, is my favorite part of visiting there. Their butchers are always so friendly and helpful. Their only downfall is SOME of their cashiers. They often are lost in their own conversations, and do not greet or engage their customers. They can come across as rude or unfriendly for this reason. But over all, Olivers is my go to spot for all local meats, delicious and beautiful cakes, and to-go food. Highly recommend.

Picked up some coffee and just wondered around looking at all Oliver's had to offer. The spirit and wine selection was impressive. If I lived near by Oliver's would be my go too.

Oliver's Market - So sad that these sushi rolls cost more but seem to be half the size.

I checked out with a short, obtuse blonde lady. I just had some chips and a can of chili. She laughed and said "chips and beans, huh?" I said I was broke and that was what I could afford. She then rolled her eyes at me and rung me up. Then said "save your money" (to buy other groceries) Basically she made light of my situation. We cannot all afford to spend $100 or $200 per trip, lady. I just thought that was very rude. But in thinking about the sum of my experiences there, that is just the tip of the iceberg. I am very upset with the ppl in this store. The taller guy, kind of balding but reddish hair, kept on talking to me about politics, and his union. I told him I was not sorry Trump had won. That was all the talking he needed. He started in on me after that time. Even though I told him I did not want to discuss my politics with him further. Rude and inappropriate. There is a short (I mean very short) blonde lady that works there. Very rude! She gives me dirty looks just about every time she sees me in the store. Previously I had talked to the manager a few years ago, after submitting a corporate complaint. He called me back, and actually offered me free groceries. I had had poor experiences with other employees there as well. I told him, that is not what I wanted. I wanted to be treated with respect and dignity, that he should be training his team to do with customers. Well, their shitty behavior has not changed one bit. I have gone here for way too long, and seen terrible things. I think most of them at least try to do well. But for a discount grocery market, their prices are above average. I have seen produce with mold on it, regularly. I have bought milk and other closed items, only to see and smell that it's bad after getting it home. I have had items that were supposed to be sealed opened, mostly I would think by homeless people. They don't even have hand baskets here, and guess why?? Yep, the homeless people steal them if they have them out. At least that is what an employee told me at one point. I see clerks regularly flirting with women, when that clearly puts the company in danger of a harassment tort/lawsuit. Seriously your employees need more training in customer service. But will they do this. NOPE!! I can understand that they probably hate their jobs, and life in general. I get that. But it does not give them the right to be rude to their customers. These bozos are getting away with this inappropriate behavior ALL the time. Years ago, I said I would not be back. Big mistake. Never say you'll never be back and then keep going there. NOPE!! I would try to call corporate but doubt I'll even get a reply or call from them. They really could give a rat's a**. Yeah, this store definitely deserves a one-star if anyone does. (And they do) **Now, I will say that there are nice employees there. Nico, and a few others go above and beyond and do a great job. But most just hate being there, and it's obvious. The customers they really count on are poor Latinos with food stamps. And this is their bread and butter, folks. People that have money actually go to Safeway or Raley's. Just saying. I have been in line with two or three items, and seen some of these hefers with at least 50 items in front of me, paying for it with - you guessed it - food stamps. So now we know where are tax dollars are going. I am not saying this to be racist. There are plenty of whites and others who get food stamps. But we have to go through much more rigorous standards to get them, as we are citizens of the U.S.. If this isn't enough to deter you, well I guess you deserve to immerse yourself in the slime and dirt of this place. This time, I will certainly say, Good night bozos!!
