Okay Sprouts, you absolutely nailed this sandwich! I got the turkey and pepperoni on whole wheat with pickles and pepperoncini, and it was AMAZING. Everything was fresh, the turkey was piled on, and the combination of the pepperoni, crunchy pickles, and tangy pepperoncini was perfect. The sandwich was huge, filling, and put together so well -- definitely not skimpy on the ingredients! This might officially be my new go-to sandwich from Sprouts. Seriously, whoever made this Sammie deserves some recognition because they understood the assignment. 10/10, I'll absolutely be getting it again! read more

Loved the store overall, but my deli sandwich was just okay. This store was clean, well-lit, and well-stocked. I had already been thinking about buying a sandwich, and when I noticed several employees actively cleaning a deli that already looked pretty clean to me, I was convinced. I ordered the build-your-own sandwich, which starts at $4.99. I love deli sandwiches, and have ordered so many from so many different locations across California over the past decade, I'm pretty sure I could write a book at this point.. Sprouts is usually a great place to get a sandwich for lunch. Most of my experiences at other Sprouts locations have been great. I filled out the sandwich form (which was returned to me with my sandwich, as evidence lol) with the following: sourdough bread, ham, bacon, swiss, avocado, dressing, all the veggies except lettuce. If the bread was sourdough, it was the whitest sourdough bread I've ever had in my life. It resembled white bread in every way, shape, and form. I received exactly one strip of hardly detectable bacon. All of the veggies were in such small quantities that I thought a bunch of ingredients were missing at first. The sandwich was honestly mostly marinated peppers. I didn't receive any avocado, but felt like, overall, the sandwich was okay enough for $7.99. But I would not order from this same sandwich maker again (although he was nice enough), because he wasn't very good at it. read more

I was coming from Napa and I needed to get Rumiano organic cheese or raw cheese. I was surprised that the sprouts had neither. I usually always find it at the sprouts in Oakland. I went around the sprouts store in Petaluma several times and never found either of these cheeses. I also asked the man at the meat counter if he could help me locate it and he thought I wanted a Parmesan cheese by a similar name. Regardless to say, I never found either cheese I thought all sprouts carry the same items. The worst market in Petaluma, rude employees that are annoyed to be there and thane it out on people. I went in today my daughter which is 5 years old tripped on a display that was put in a bad place instead of the employee checking if she was ok he screamed ". What the fuck" and walked away angry" I heard the other employees telling him " I told u that was a bad place for a display" I told one of the employees that there's children in the store that that language was not appropriate he apologized for the other rude employee. Love sprouts.i used to go more often for the fruits and veggies. Everything is always so fresh. Now I mostly go for the sandwiches. They are a great bargain for your buck. Sandwiches are very filling and customizable. The staff has always been nice at all the locations i patronized. I love the samples they provide. Customer service could be better out on the floor and I have had some deli assistance that was not very good. Rude employees who don't seem happy or have frowning faces. I usually enjoy shopping at Sprouts, but my experience today was incredibly disappointing. The cashier was incredibly rude and acted like I was a burden for asking for help. There's always a number of local things that this particular Sprouts Carries and local venders. I appreciate all the local vendor and the number of specialty items Sprouts Carries in general. This Sprouts always has 2-3 baskets of 99 cent items in the front/left side entrance and I always find goodies there! Hee This morning it was extra crispy outside and I was craving coffee, so I went to their coffee aisle and was pleasantly surprised to see more local coffee vendors, as well as some instant coffee. I haven't seen at my own local sprouts down in the bay area. I ended up going with the organic eco-friendly cups of coffee and I got some holiday gluten-free cookies as a dipping dessert! Lol, although this particular sprouts is small, the people working there all seem very helpful and the signs are very well kept so I like the atmosphere. I will be back. read more

For a small neighborhood grocery store chain this particular Spouts Farmers Market is a fair one. I stopped here for the bulk section selection, its one of the best in Sonoma county. Pretty much everything you can want is available; grains and rices, dried fruits and nuts, baking staples, granolas and trail mixes, various candies and snacks - you get the idea. For my particular stop it was for road trip snacks and this bulk section served its purpose. There is a pretty decent cheeses section with a nice varied selection and an okay deli and butcher counter, again its a small chain grocery store. There is an okay produce section with some organic choices, but not like one which you would expect for the area. I normally love shopping at Sprouts but today I was irritated when I found a barrel inside the front door full of bags of cashews with a price tag clearly stating in large type $5.99. So when I was being checked out the price came up $8.99. I corrected the cashier saying they were $5.99. She informed me the price was $5.99 per lb. I returned to the display to see the per lb in small letters that could barely be read. I find this kind of force selling to be below your standard of integrity and a very negative tact to get your valued shoppers to purchase something they otherwise would not. It was a letdown at checkout and is a reason I will not be anxious to shop there again. Think about it. read more

I'm a Sprouts guy. They have all the things I need and the prices are always fair and sometimes amazing. Their fish department is great and the have tons of stuff in bulk. Sprouts is a wonderful place to get groceries, if you care about finding healthy ingredients and food. My go to items are grass fed beef, "I love good fats" bars (try the coconut!), "Everyone" shampoo and soap (I have an AirBnB and my guests and joy the products); supplements, organic fruits and veggies, milk, and nuts from their bins. The employees are super nice and helpful. And I appreciate how many items are on sale every time, some of the deals are amazing. I have become good about using the coupons they send in the mail. When the Petaluma store first opened, I didn't quite connect with it, but now I go once a week. read more

Perfectly small grocery store in a big box shopping center. I love the fact you can walk in and clearly see the other side of the store without looking at about 20 different end caps and copious amounts of registers for all of two cashiers... My two biggest loves about this store is that in their cheese case you can find end cuts of various cheese. Last time I was there there was Guyere, A chipolte Jack, Havarti, and a few others. If you are looking to try a new cheese but have reservations about it, or want to fancy up a cheese and meats tray definitely check out their basket of end cuts. I want to say their cold cuts are the same way with a misc pack of end cuts and a variety pack. It's been a while since I've seen it. Possibly they have stopped. Also! They have THE BEST BULK SECTION IN SONOMA COUNTY! grains, dried/candied fruit, granola, candies, other munchables. I particularly love the dehydrated apple rings, my kids love the bigger version of corn nuts. Great prices too. Bulk bin or some of it is pre-packaged into popular sizes (1/2 or 1lb). Their end of the shopping center isn't horribly busy either so you don't have to worry about dodging cars or having to walk from a mile away. Do not suggest their produce. Going to their location plenty of parking. Clean and well organized. Don't find a substantial savings. Also not thrilled with dented cans inside boxes. Every time I come here I go to the deli to get some low sodium chicken for just me, 1 person. They ask me how thick I want it, don't show me a slice, don't acknowledge I'm there when I first walk up (even though they see me), and are always so short and rude. Usually the tall man with the curved mustache is the rude one. He's rude by being super short and acts annoyed that he's helping you or if you ask a question. Everyone else doesn't acknowledge you or say "will be with you," nothing. But I tell you that they have plenty of time to socialize with one another, and while I wait I have to hear them complain about work. Basically their gossip. Other staff is nice but it's always dreadful to visit the deli or meat counter. PROS: - have Boar's Head - a lot of healthy food options - Dairy free ice cream options - other staff is very nice - have great healthy options in many areas of household beauty needs and shakes. CONS: - bakery stuff sucks. - No cookies or bakery bar center to gather things in a bag or vegan doughnuts - muffins are dry - every time I go to refrigerated area to grab some shakes by the deli there's never enough. Only like 1-2 - should offer compostable bags for produce area and charge $0.05 for each used. read more

Also love it's location in Petaluma - right next to Dick's Sporting Goods and Home Goods. Great for getting errands done. BEWARE EXPIRED PRODUCTS!!! I've been shopping at this market since day one. I don't live in Petaluma. However Ive noticed that a lot of the products are expired and still being sold! I have gotten so many expired dairy products as well as boxed Items. I do not look at dates on Items I'm purchasing. I should trust the store I'm shopping at, however you can't trust this market. Spend your money else where. You might spend a little extra but you will not have to throw out what you just bought! This location has really begun to decline. After getting home and discovering once again that an item was sold months beyond the expiration date and meat we had purchased for dinner the same evening was bad I figured it's time to update my previous 5 star review. Since fall of last year, there always seems to be an item that we discover has expired, when putting our groceries away. Usually a prepackaged deli item or yogurt. Super frustrating. The produce is hit or miss now too. One of the reasons I really liked Sprouts when they opened was that their produce was consistently good and well priced. But the quality has significantly declined. The whole vibe of the store is off, and customer service has plummeted. Management isn't visible and there seems to be a high turnover with staff. Hopeful things can turn around. read more

I really like Sprouts, maybe I should give them 5 stars. Great price on produce, and the produce tastes very fresh. On some Wednesdays, the 100% grass fed ground beef is on a great sale, the chicken is priced well, too. Clean store, friendly staff. I moved out of state, but am thrilled they have Sprouts here, too. I love their bin selection. One thing I do not like is their bread selection. If you haven't yet, try their Sprouts' Chipotle Hummus and Sprouts' trail mix. So good!! read more
