Almond joes cookies ridiculously expensive but delicious
    Mina G.

This place is expensive, but it's worth the money. My husband wasn't feeling well, and we were staying home all weekend, so we decided to go to Petaluma to get some pastries and some pre-cooked deliciousness. We always know that the Petaluma market delivers, and we get the chicken tacos outside the taco shell. They have melted cheddar cheese, and inside is ample chicken. It's marinated with something I can't tell you what, but it is delicious. Like I said, it is quite a solid bit of chicken. If I want something quick and delicious, I grab these. Stick them in the air fryer for a few minutes, ready to rock. Delicious. We also got the chicken quesadillas again for a couple of minutes in the air fryer. You're ready to go. It was a hot weekend, so I was not interested in turning on the oven. They make these almond Joe cookies delicious, moist, but crispy on the outside, crispy almonds inside, delicious every time I come here, I get at least one bag of those. In fact, they use my picture on the cover of this market. They make a bomb quiche, Lorraine, another perfect choice. You can heat it in the microwave, and again, you can use the air fryer, which works like a dream, making things crispy on the outside, bringing them back to life, and making them delicious. Everybody here is always helpful. Nice big smiles. It has an old-school feel, and there is definitely a lot of wood. It's a little cramped, but it has a ton of great stuff here, and if you want something that's premade and delicious, which is very difficult to find, this is your answer. It delivers every time I've been coming here for a years. You can see all the pictures. Lots of good choices here. Cheers, my friends SYOY. September 1, 2025

Enjoying the bowl of Chili at Penry Park
    Savannah R.

I visited Petaluma Market in Petaluma, CA on Saturday, 3/1/25, around 1:30 PM. What stood out to me about this market was the offering of hot & cold food. There were a plethora of options such as prime rib, chicken marsala, ravioli, macaroni & cheese, ribs with barbecue sauce, soups, salad bar, etc. I decided to get a box of salad, prepared with chicken breasts, eggs, shredded cheese, tomatoes, black olives, and cucumbers. I paired it with ranch dressing. The ingredients were delicious and super fresh. I truly enjoyed the salad. Along with the salad, I also opted for soup. I got a bowl of Chili and added shredded cheese on top. It was warm, hearty, cozy, and flavorful. Upon my observations, the price points of most products are on the higher end compared to other stores. Even for my salad and soup, the total came out to nearly $30. That was a bit expensive for just two products. Overall, Petaluma Market is a clean, well-organized store with friendly staff members and tasty hot/cold food. It may be good to shop here for certain things, but not primarily for a huge grocery trip, as things can add up very quickly.

    All the cheese..#whocutthecheese

When I walk into a grocery store and am immediately greeted by the lady cutting the cheese, I know it's going to be a good experience! Stopped in while visiting Petaluma to see what the locals buy to make their meals and ended up walking out with a variety of cheeses, wine, fresh fruit, and veggies. This place is great, a testament to a small town grocery store with lots of specialty items and a lot to look at and think. "How can I use that in a new recipe?" Stop in and get you something to cook up at home..

Blueberry Cheesecake from JM Rosen's Cheesecake ($4.99/Slice)- 5/5 stars. A must try!!

When I asked a team members where a specific item was located the team member would walk me over to where the product was to ensure I found it quickly. When we went to checkout was when things started going wrong. We got behind a customer who was just finishing up when Jaime T (per our receipt) came over and got us stating there was no wait in his line. I handed Jaime our reusable bags who then stated "Just put those at the back of the check stand". At that point I told Jaime I would be right back, I was going to grab a case of water. When I returned 2 minutes later Jaime was 3/4 done with the checkout however I noticed my spouse was starting to bag our own items, and not the way TJ team members normally bag purchases (neatly with maximizing the space in the bags). We were checking out at 11:20, the other open check stands had one or no customers in them and Jaime had no one behind us at his checkout. My spouse stated it wasn't a big deal but when you have one TJ team member not doing what you have come to expect it is disappointing. I hope this was just a one off event and not an ongoing behavior of this one TJ team member.

Any city I travel to? I seek out the grocery outlet for their very unique items. Plus the Amazing specials and bargains. Spent the day at the beach and on the way back home, stopped at this grocery outlet to get some hydration for the road. I am in line and I noticed cashier Cindy is dropping the "fuck" bombs and "shit" bombs left and right in a conversation she was having with somebody about 6 feet away. Cindy totally ignored the customer who was in front of me checking out. I was so shocked what I was experiencing. I did not even say something to her or ask for the manager... Cindy was the type of person, between her foul mouth language and her presentation, that you were concerned she was gonna pull out a knife and jump over-the-counter and stab you. Cindy's behavior was atrocious. The words she was using are not appropriate for a retail establishment. And to top it off, there was not an ounce of customer service in her. Hell, I've been to dive bars where you are treated better and with more respect. I was thankful the grandkids were in the car with my daughter, and I did not bring them in to experience such a foul mouth. I hope management will take this seriously, and I hope other customers reported their experiences, and they will take this opportunity to put Cindy in some remedial training programs to up her skills.

They also have a bulk section for nuts, spices, honey, water, candy, coffee, etc. and offer everything else a grocery store would. The prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores, but you're paying for quality. Everything is fresh, the store is always so clean, and people are for the most part always friendly. I had already been thinking about buying a sandwich, and when I noticed several employees actively cleaning a deli that already looked pretty clean to me, I was convinced. I ordered the build-your-own sandwich, which starts at $4.99. I love deli sandwiches, and have ordered so many from so many different locations across California over the past decade, I'm pretty sure I could write a book at this point.. Sprouts is usually a great place to get a sandwich for lunch. Most of my experiences at other Sprouts locations have been great. I filled out the sandwich form (which was returned to me with my sandwich, as evidence lol) with the following: sourdough bread, ham, bacon, swiss, avocado, dressing, all the veggies except lettuce. If the bread was sourdough, it was the whitest sourdough bread I've ever had in my life. It resembled white bread in every way, shape, and form. I received exactly one strip of hardly detectable bacon. All of the veggies were in such small quantities that I thought a bunch of ingredients were missing at first. The sandwich was honestly mostly marinated peppers. I didn't receive any avocado, but felt like, overall, the sandwich was okay enough for $7.99. But I would not order from this same sandwich maker again (although he was nice enough), because he wasn't very good at it.
