    Beautiful restaurant

Amazing restaurant. There coffee, tea, empanadas and chips were fresh. The service was great! Definitely a restaurant I'd eat at again!

Almost every Friday when it's time for lunch I think of this place. There is one particular dish that I absolutely love which is Bacalao. The version of Cod fish is amazing. It's full of flavor, fresh fish, and the portion size is absolutely worth it. There may be a line but I assure you it's well worth the wait. I've been coming to this place for this meal for awhile.

No meat on this chicken. All fat and bone and the smell was disgusting.

Absolutely disgusting. Went there yesterday and got a chicken stew (which I think was three days old based on the review posted two days before I got my food which complained about the same thing), rice and "beans" and a beef empanada. I can't even describe the horrible stench this food had. Something compared to cooked pigs feet. Besides the taste, I literally had not one piece of meat on my chicken. It was ALL bone, fat, and skin. Which honestly due to the smell I probably couldn't even stomach it anyway. Food was room temp, beef empanada tasted days old and looked like it had been sitting for a while. Honestly I just can't even get the horrible smell of the food out of my nose and I threw it out yesterday.

Hole in the wall, surprise in a strip mall, back of the lot ... Best kept secret

Best "moro de guandules" yellow rice with green pigeon peas I had in a restaurant in awhile.

The inside of the restaurant is decently sized, clean, and even has a space where you can host a DJ, which is a nice touch. There was a slight language barrier, but it wasn't a big issue. I waited about 5-10 minutes for my to-go order since the hostess/server was the only one working outside of the kitchen staff. I ordered the MOFONGO MIXTO (Mixed Mofongo), which is crispy green plantains mashed with garlic and olive oil, paired with chicharrón, chicken, or cheese. It was solid--rich, tasty, and especially delicious with the salsa blanco, which was creamy and garlicky. That sauce was a first for me, and I loved it! While I've had mofongo that included rice and beans elsewhere, this version stood on its own nicely. A couple of notes: parking is a bit challenging, and I'd recommend placing your order through an app to help navigate any potential language barriers. Overall, a good experience, and I'd definitely give it another shot!

It is a family run establishment and having just opened, the place is super clean and super modern. There is a good amount of seating, so they can accommodate a large group easily. They are open late and on certain days, they have a DJ and the place turns into a club. The food was extremely fresh and is home cooked style. The chivo guisado was extremely juicy and the meat was so tender - falling off the bone. The pico pollo was great too and very well seasoned. Portions sizes were generous with very reasonable prices too. The staff are very friendly too. It's a nice place to come and enjoy some authentic Dominican food with some bottles of Presidente or cocktails. I recommend giving them a try. You will not be disappointed.

I got the el original chimi and a big papi hotdog. The hotdog was the messier thing i've ever eaten but it was DELICIOUS, not to mention all beef. It was packaged well and arrived intact. The chimi however... it was disappointing. It lacked flavor. The patty lacked the ground beef texture. The sandwich was served in a small sandwich bag. All of the toppings were at the bottom of the sandwich. I wouldn't get a chimi from here again but I would definitely get their loaded hotdog again for sure, and I'd try other items on their menu.

Honestly didn't even know what a chimi was but after the owners described it, I had to try it for myself & I have no regrets. Perfect meal before my nap. Will definitely be back to try more items. Aside from the food, the customer service was delightful. They were very honest and veered me in the perfect direction. Love love love
