Came on a Thursday night to see Pauly Shore. Once inside the host checks off your name from the list, checks identification and you are guided to a seat. I guess it depends on who is performing as some nights it's just first come first seated. Nonetheless, there are food and drink options available, no minimum for the show. Seating is good in all areas, each seat has a table in front of it to hold your libations, snacks etc. Paid Parking available on both sides of the venue and on the street.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Small, intimate venue.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]3 comedians on stage.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] No drink minimum. The comedians did their best. I'm married to a very funny guy so I was a bit bored. I was left wanting more punchlines.

Went to Wiseguys for the first time about 2 weeks ago to see comedian Keith Pedro. This was at the club in the Arts District. There is street/lot parking for a fee. We parked in the lot right outside the club. It was $7 for 3 hours which was plenty of time. We checked in and then we were seated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a smaller venue.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have food/drink service and prices are decent. Staff come around pretty frequent too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our seats were good, off to the side but near the front.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All opening acts plus main headliner were great!

Had such an awesome time at the Joey Avery comedy show last weekend! The comedians prior to him were hilarious. I found it hilarious how he called out my date and I for wearing our flannel lesbian shirts. Lmfaoooo it wasn't on purpose! Food was ok, drinks were delicious. Would definitely be back!

Came here courtesy of some of my Yelp friends and truly enjoyed it. Nestled in the beautiful arts district, you are sure to have some much needed laughs. They have a menu as well, so you can be refreshed while at the show. My only issue is they have too many seats to the tables (whether cocktail or rectangle), you need more room (just one less chair to each space). I was constantly bumping elbows and saying sorry and my husband had to move out the the aisle a little just so we could have space to stop bumping our neighbors. I recommend using ParkWiz for parking, so you have be guaranteed to have a place to park but if not you can take in the sights of the phenomenal murals along the way.

    Out for a fun night!!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I would recommend this venue for a show. It's small, intimate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was good. My friends had the tacos, they said they were good. Allen Stephen was very funny. A fun night was had by all!!!

Came here because JR DeGuzman was doing a Netflix taping special. Never been here before and it was really small and intimate. They even ask if you're going to eat or drink depending on how they will sit you. We weren't going to eat or drink so we got 2 chairs without a table. It was really cool to be involved in a taping and it was nice to be in a small place. Everyone was nice and helpful.

Been eager to visit Wisequys to witness how the Las Vegas comedy lineup was like, being from Hollywood I was surprised how massive and cool the audience was. WOW, the people came and the people stayed... make us laugh they say. It's on Vega$.

This was the highlight of my Vegas trip. My bf has never been to a comedy show. I've been obsessed with Jiaoying Summers. When I found out she was coming to Wiseguys, I knew I had to go. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Got there early when doors opened. It was open seating, but I knew the experience would be enhanced if we sat in the front. I was not disappointed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was nervous, but so elated to be roasted by the Queen. As you can see, my bf clearly enjoyed himself and had a good time. There were drinks and food options. We ate beforehand so we didn't purchase any food. My bf got a couple of drinks. The prices were very reasonable and delicious. I love how intimate the club was. Great seating everywhere. Jiaoying was ruthless and picked on people in the back. You are not safe at her shows to be roasted. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I would definitely would see another show at Wiseguys when I'm in Vegas again. Great place for a date night or a hang out with friends.

They sure do pack you in!

Visited Wiseguys for the first time to see Pauly Shore's one-man show, "Stick With the Dancing." Really like this new comedy club in the downtown Arts District, and I'm glad as a local that there's another option for watching standup. THE GOOD: - The venue is non-smoking, which is a blessing for your lungs! No more dingy, dark, and smoky comedy clubs. The air is fresh and clean. - The venue is intimate, so you'll have a close-up view with the comedians on stage. There are some structural "poles" that will give you a blocked view if you're seated behind or near them, so arrive early for the choice seats. It's first-come, first-served seating, and the host will seat you. If you are unhappy with your seat, ask to be moved immediately. - Snacks are cheap, but simple. We ordered chips and salsa and two Diet Cokes, and it set us back $15 before tip. I wouldn't go here for a meal, but the nibbles aren't outrageously priced. They aren't fancy and are similar to what you could make at home with regular grocery store ingredients. - Drinks are also affordable, all of the cocktails were $10 or under. Wine is $7. Beer is $8 or less per can. Fair, because Wiseguys has to make their money, too. - Good sound and lighting, not too loud and the sound from Pauly's microphone was clear and crisp. - Must be 21 or older, so no need to worry about snot-nose kids being disruptive and ruining the show. NOT-SO-GOOD: - Since this club is located in downtown Las Vegas, parking isn't free. The stupid city for some idiot reason makes people pay (when they're trying to attract more crowds and locals to the area - makes zero sense). Do not forget to pay the meter or you WILL get a ticket or worse, TOWED. After the show ended, a couple had a big parking ticket on their windshield. Don't let it be you next time. (The club has tons of signs reminding patrons of that fact, but apparently there are still some who don't get the memo). - Seating is at long, communal tables, and they cram you in. We were uncomfortably touching the folks next to us. If only they'd remove one or two chairs, it wouldn't be so jam packed. If you're weirded out by being too close to strangers, this isn't the place for you. - Since the seating isn't staggered, you will have an obstructed view of the stage if you are anywhere but the front row. If you're behind a tall person, you aren't going to see much at all. - Tickets are non-refundable, so do not purchase anything in advance unless you are SURE that you will be attending the show. All in all, Wiseguys is a pretty great place to see a comedy show. Sign up for their free e-newsletter on their website to get updated information on all the shows. They host a LOT of different comedians and seem to be attracting high-end talent. The staff is friendly and efficient, and ticket prices are fair, and there's a lot of like about this place.

This place was hilarious. The chairs were uncomfortable though. But I could not stop laughing. They serve food, I passed because we ate before. I didn't know. The staff was friendly. Drinks were a little pricey. Who doesn't love to laugh? I recommend coming in. The admission was super cheap. Located in town square.

12/2/23 we were able to get tickets for a live recording show to watch the Filipino comedian JR De Guzman at Wiseguys club. Venue is small but love how we have tables to put our drinks and food. Staff was wonderful. Service was awesome.

Went to see Kevin Nealon last night at Wiseguys town Square. I had not been to this venue yet, and I couldn't believe how big it was! Very well done! The food was OK, not bad, but nothing to write home about. The beer and drinks were surprisingly moderately, priced, not strip prices! The service was very good, but a little disorganized. Several different servers went out of their way to help us which was great, but we never got the feeling that anybody had assigned stations so that they were knowing what was going on. I would definitely go back, great venue, good comics, great drinks, and servers, and everyone, even the hosts.

Parking lot aside of the building.

Definitely plan to go early because the GPS will drop you off to the parking lot and then you will still have to walk another 10-15 minutes before you reach the venue. It's inside the Rio Hotel and you have to take the elevator to the fourth floor from the parking lot. The venue itself was hard for me to find inside and I even had to ask a few people for directions. Eventually, I reached there twenty minutes late but the woman who checked me in assured me that the show had just started. After being seated, I had a great time! Jimmy Kimmel was hosting the showcase and it was great seeing him live in person. It also didn't take the server too long to reach me for my order. I got nachos, some ginger beer, and had some great laughs :) The nachos were delicious! Highly recommend if you're in the area and just need some laughter therapy.

Y'all can't keep getting away with doing this to people! - Dec. 2024: "The comedians are knee-slapping funny if toilet humor and dick and/or pussy jokes are your type of thing. The bartenders put on a better show when they do that thing where they twist the Jack Daniel's bottle 180 degrees as they pour it into the Coca-Cola. However, the security guards here are cocksuckers. Justa buncha rude motherfuckers. I guess they want them to be as mean as possible, so when you finally get your ass in this place, the comedians by default are so funny because it's a relief to be rid of the sons of bitches. Rio's security is like the pope compared to these people--yeah, if that tells you anything. All in all, a bunch of losers that never made it anywhere in life, so they get high on a lil power trip. Must be insulting to know that a D-rate comedian telling shit and queef jokes is infinitely more important they'll ever be, and they have to live that reminder night after night. It makes me happy, you know I couldn't think of a more fitting punishment unless it was casted down by good God Almighty, because l'm sure he has a helluva lot in store for when they get to the pearly gates, if they can cover the cost of admission. So much so, I'll come out and say it. I forgive the ancient bastard that clipped my ticket as his jet-black hair-dye was running down his cheeks while he hopped on my case because I laughed too loud at a comedy show. Might've told the best joke in the house the whole night."

Some tips for first-timers to the theater: 1. Follow the signs for "The Mirage Theater." Aces of Comedy is in the back (like wayyy back of Mirage). It is pretty much a diagonal B line from the parking garage to the theater. 2. The entry process was a breeze. They scanned our electronic tickets and voila, you're in. All the employees were super nice and guided us right to our seats. 3. The theater is a good, intimate size. Stick with section 102 seats and you can't go wrong. The seats slope upward from the stage. We were in the orchestra section, EE 9 and 10, which was pretty dead center to the stage. To me, these seats were PERFECT and would be the seats I would want to get again! 4. The smell of movie theater popcorn will lure you! Fortunately, I practiced self-restraint as I knew I would be getting popcorn all up in the air as I laughed! Go to the Aces of Comedy and get your LAUGH ON!!! :)

It was a different kind of show because he shared a lot of personal stuff about what he has been going through recently. I can't imagine how difficult it is to go on stage and entertain an audience with humor when some really heavy changes are happening. Don't get me wrong, the show was hilarious for the most part but really touching as well. I don't want to spoil anything for you before you see him or his next comedy special coming soon. It will be different. Now the venue. The room is just large enough to fit a good size crowd but not so big that sight lines are affected or that you lose that sense of intimacy with the performer. Due to my current mobility issues I required some ADA assistance and the staff really delivered overall. There is a phone number you can call to have security meet you at the north entrance by registration and they will provide you with a wheelchair and wheel you to the theater which is a good distance from the self park garage. The security personnel was very friendly and never made me feel as if it was an inconvenience for them. They brought me up the elevator all the way to my seat upstairs. The staff member in charge at the theater was so sweet and accommodating. She made checking in with my mobile tickets a breeze and provided information on how I would be escorted back to the north entrance after the show was over. Be aware it takes a lonnng time for them to send someone to help you though, before and after the show. ADA seating was very comfortable with wide rolling seats and lots of open space. Even though the seats are in the last row, the view was excellent. Important note: the ushers are hardcore (even the older ladies) and will have you thrown out for talking too loud or yelling at the performers or even worse, recording the show on your phone. They may look like grannies but they will come at you like a pit bull if you act stupid or break the rules. Granny don't play dat'.

We shared some fun verbs (they riffed on "ghosted"). They asked for an example of something that should stay in Vegas and we got 2: misused a bidet and had amazing sex and she's 70! They asked for a headline version of an intriguing story (we got kid locked in porta potty). They asked for long-time relationships and heard all about Andy and Helen. Lastly, they had someone come on stage and tell about her interesting day in Vegas (dumplings, napping with drool, breaking the craps machine, etc). These performers wove everything in and frequently referred back to earlier people and stories. Great singing, great rapping, the human beatbox (and all-around sound creator) was amazing, great musicians, and The emcee was outstanding. We will be in Vegas again for NYE and might make our way to see this show again! Go see it!!!
