Winter on an open mic Wednesday. Didn't know what to expect but glad to put down five bucks to get into the Show. Each act gets a limited amount of time in someway is good, but not all of them were laugh worthy. Got to go with a comedian friend who suggested we meet here. It was so interesting to see walking up all the comedians just milling around outside talking to each other on the sidewalk. If you're looking for a little salty snack, just get the corn chips and salsa. I thought about the nachos. My friend wasn't hungry for them. The server was good and friendly. I would go back again next time I'm in Vegas for this exact show just to see about getting a laugh... which I did at this visit. read more

Overall, this is a good comedy club, and fortunately, most of the comics we've seen here have been decent. Because with as many comedy shows and comedy clubs as there are in Vegas, most are trash. We've been coming here long before the Town Square location opened, and we still like it, although we frequent both now. This location is obviously much smaller and harder to get to, and there's only paid parking nearby since it's in the Arts District. Their food and drinks are pretty reasonably priced, which is nice to see for a venue, however, the service is pretty slow and not great. Be sure to double-check your bill before paying because the last time we were here, it was incorrect, and we had to stay after the show to get it sorted out. All in all, we would come back but prefer the Town Square location despite it being a lot further away. read more

Came on a Thursday night to see Pauly Shore. Once inside the host checks off your name from the list, checks identification and you are guided to a seat. I guess it depends on who is performing as some nights it's just first come first seated. Nonetheless, there are food and drink options available, no minimum for the show. Seating is good in all areas, each seat has a table in front of it to hold your libations, snacks etc. Paid Parking available on both sides of the venue and on the street. read more

Went to Wiseguys for the first time about 2 weeks ago to see comedian Keith Pedro. This was at the club in the Arts District. There is street/lot parking for a fee. We parked in the lot right outside the club. It was $7 for 3 hours which was plenty of time. We checked in and then we were seated. Came here courtesy of some of my Yelp friends and truly enjoyed it. Nestled in the beautiful arts district, you are sure to have some much needed laughs. They have a menu as well, so you can be refreshed while at the show. My only issue is they have too many seats to the tables (whether cocktail or rectangle), you need more room (just one less chair to each space). I was constantly bumping elbows and saying sorry and my husband had to move out the the aisle a little just so we could have space to stop bumping our neighbors. I recommend using ParkWiz for parking, so you have be guaranteed to have a place to park but if not you can take in the sights of the phenomenal murals along the way. read more

They even ask if you're going to eat or drink depending on how they will sit you. We weren't going to eat or drink so we got 2 chairs without a table. It was really cool to be involved in a taping and it was nice to be in a small place. Everyone was nice and helpful. read more

This was the highlight of my Vegas trip. My bf has never been to a comedy show. I've been obsessed with Jiaoying Summers. When I found out she was coming to Wiseguys, I knew I had to go. We ate beforehand so we didn't purchase any food. My bf got a couple of drinks. The prices were very reasonable and delicious. I love how intimate the club was. Great seating everywhere. Jiaoying was ruthless and picked on people in the back. You are not safe at her shows to be roasted. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Visited Wiseguys for the first time to see Pauly Shore's one-man show, "Stick With the Dancing." Really like this new comedy club in the downtown Arts District, and I'm glad as a local that there's another option for watching standup. THE GOOD: - The venue is non-smoking, which is a blessing for your lungs! No more dingy, dark, and smoky comedy clubs. The air is fresh and clean. - The venue is intimate, so you'll have a close-up view with the comedians on stage. There are some structural "poles" that will give you a blocked view if you're seated behind or near them, so arrive early for the choice seats. It's first-come, first-served seating, and the host will seat you. If you are unhappy with your seat, ask to be moved immediately. - Snacks are cheap, but simple. We ordered chips and salsa and two Diet Cokes, and it set us back $15 before tip. I wouldn't go here for a meal, but the nibbles aren't outrageously priced. They aren't fancy and are similar to what you could make at home with regular grocery store ingredients. - Drinks are also affordable, all of the cocktails were $10 or under. Wine is $7. Beer is $8 or less per can. Fair, because Wiseguys has to make their money, too. - Good sound and lighting, not too loud and the sound from Pauly's microphone was clear and crisp. - Must be 21 or older, so no need to worry about snot-nose kids being disruptive and ruining the show. NOT-SO-GOOD: - Since this club is located in downtown Las Vegas, parking isn't free. The stupid city for some idiot reason makes people pay (when they're trying to attract more crowds and locals to the area - makes zero sense). Do not forget to pay the meter or you WILL get a ticket or worse, TOWED. After the show ended, a couple had a big parking ticket on their windshield. Don't let it be you next time. (The club has tons of signs reminding patrons of that fact, but apparently there are still some who don't get the memo). - Seating is at long, communal tables, and they cram you in. We were uncomfortably touching the folks next to us. If only they'd remove one or two chairs, it wouldn't be so jam packed. If you're weirded out by being too close to strangers, this isn't the place for you. - Since the seating isn't staggered, you will have an obstructed view of the stage if you are anywhere but the front row. If you're behind a tall person, you aren't going to see much at all. - Tickets are non-refundable, so do not purchase anything in advance unless you are SURE that you will be attending the show. All in all, Wiseguys is a pretty great place to see a comedy show. Sign up for their free e-newsletter on their website to get updated information on all the shows. They host a LOT of different comedians and seem to be attracting high-end talent. The staff is friendly and efficient, and ticket prices are fair, and there's a lot of like about this place. read more

Went to see Kevin Nealon last night at Wiseguys town Square. I had not been to this venue yet, and I couldn't believe how big it was! Very well done! The food was OK, not bad, but nothing to write home about. The beer and drinks were surprisingly moderately, priced, not strip prices! The service was very good, but a little disorganized. Several different servers went out of their way to help us which was great, but we never got the feeling that anybody had assigned stations so that they were knowing what was going on. I would definitely go back, great venue, good comics, great drinks, and servers, and everyone, even the hosts. read more

I came here Friday night when the featured comic was Steve Soelberg. This was my first time here. There was an MC/intro comedian, two others with short sets, and then Soelberg who was the main comic for the night. The audience was small because it was First Friday, CES had finished that day, and it was after the New Year's Eve crowd was gone. I was greeted by a friendly young woman as I came into the club and she found my name on the guest list quickly. She asked simply that I sit closer to the front because the attendance was going to be small and they wanted people closer to the stage. I sat in the 3rd row (Rule #2--never sit close to the stage. It will be less likely that you'll be part of the act.) Rule #1--never volunteer an answer. When Mr. Soelberg asked members of the audience if they did not have an appendix, my hand didn't go up very high and he didn't see me hiding as it were. The warm up comic who acted as MC and the featured comic were very good and very funny. The two in between were a bit weak but everyone has to start somewhere to get the experience. Service from the one person bringing food and drinks was excellent. There are printed menus or you can scan a QR code to see their offerings. I bought a ticket for a future show and I think I'll have a snack there prior to the show. There is a parking lot but it is a city lot and the fee is $10. There is some street parking but with the newer brewpub across the street, parking is getting harder to find unless you find a spot on Commerce Street and walk the block to the club. I look forward to returning. With any comedy club, you never know what you'll get but it's a fun evening! read more

I came here after seeing it recommended to me on Instagrams. I attended the open mic night they have for $5 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It was a great date night for me and my partner. Parking was a bit difficult to secure as the parking lot was completely full 45 min before the show started. Luckily there are pay to park spots along the street for a few blocks down. It wasn't far of a walk at all. Checking in was easy since tickets are paid for online. Just state your last name and you'll be marked off their list. We were ushered to our seats and we were surprisingly seated very close and center. Fortunately, the stage is placed where any seat is a good seat in the house! There are food and drinks that are priced great. The waitresses come to you as you take your order and they're very fast! As for the show, it was organized and most of the comedians were great. Unfortunately, there was a show right after the open mic, so the comedians had a strict 3 min rule and some were cut off abruptly (there is a timer, but some comedians didn't time it to end their set nicely). I would definitely come back again to see some of these comedians with their own events! read more

Went to see Bob Zany along with his wife Erin O'Conner and loved the show. Laughed a lot! Erin is very funny and Bob is as awesome as he's always been, with most of his show featuring audience interaction and off-the-cuff hilarious banter. Wiseguys was great! Staff was VERY nice, and we had some food and drink (taco's) and they were delicious. Although I choose comedy shows to go to based on the comedian that is featured, we will definitely be back when we visit Vegas no matter who is performing. Finally got to check this place out. I love that it is right across the street from Able Baker Brewing. I came to see Pauly Shore on a First Friday. The two comedians that opened for him provided a nice warmup. Pauly Shore is hilarious--better than I was expecting. It was worth the price of admission, and I'd recommend his standup comedy. What a treat to go to this comedy club and see Pauly Shore. It's a great venue--big enough to house a good crowd and intimate enough for patrons to feel a part of the show. The ticket prices were reasonable, too, for the quality of entertainment we received. The warm up acts were very good, especially the second comic. And this club is in the Art District, an area where I never got to explore, but will definitely spend more time in when I visit Vegas again. read more

I absolutely love, comedy shows, but it has been a long time since I've had the opportunity to attend one. So when I heard one of my favorite Instagram comedians was going to be performing, I had to take this opportunity to go visit Christian Johnson he makes me laugh all the time And I had to see him before standup. The venue was amazing. The atmosphere was electric. The staff were very kind and helpful getting a seats. They had a very nice food menu and lots to choose from. We had the spinach dip, the buffalo wings, and tacos. The opening act was hilarious and got us in the mood for the main act. The show is absolutely hilarious and towards the end, he talked to the crowd, and we all got the shares some stories, and he truly made us enjoy all the different types of peoples and their stories, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have an amazing time and get away from whatever stress you have in your life for a few hours read more

I've been to clubs where they have 5-7 slots and each got 6-8 minutes with the MC filling in between. This place is super cute and a great venue for some good ol fashioned stand up comedy. The comedians were pretty funny. Cons. You gotta pay for parking and the service is pretty slow. Which I can understand because there's only 2 servers in an entire building. We made the mistake of ordering 2 club triple stacked sandwiches with bagged crumbs of chips. The menu stated it was in toasted sour dough with mayo. There definitely was no mayo and the bread was like 7-11 gas station 99cent bread. We couldn't tell if it was dry wheat or white?? Yeah that bad. We thought about ordering the chicken tacos and thank goodness we did not! We saw the people around us get them and ewe. They looked terrible. And of course I asked my neighbors how it was. Guess what they said? No need to say. Do not come here to eat! We were running late so we didn't have time to eat elsewhere. But after we left we went to go eat to try to forget that eating experience. Lol. Go for laughs only. read more

I'm posting this based off of the sound. Unless you are right up to the stage, you cannot hear anything. We came here for Nimesh and it was so awful because we couldn't hear him at all. We had 4 other comedians come on prior to him, and it was the same thing. It's the audio engineer that is not making sure the comedian is heard throughout the club. There have been so many other comedians I want to go see, but there is no point if you're sitting there and can't hear anything. We've had the same complaint with all of our friends that have been. We even mentioned something to 2 employees while we were there asking if they could correct the sound and they were rude and dismissive. Please fix your audio. read more

Saw a show here within the first week or two that it opened. Loved it. It's a great space. The service was . Looking forward to lots more in the future. The Arts District is the perfect place for a comedy club. Located right on Main Street this will soon be the spot locals hit while going out to their favorite places.
