Beware! Had my home painted just over 2 years ago. Looked nice at first. I'll admit I was initially impressed. I even recommended him to several neighbors and even my parents. Then started to see some peeling under the eaves, then more and more. Then a significant amount of my house body started peeling. Had Michael come out and look at it, and after review he said "I've never seen anything like this" and told me he would "make this right". We had Dunn Edwards out to look at it and they said there was "multi coat peeling" causing the issue- basically that the application wasn't done correctly- and would not warranty it because of this. So Michael said it was the paint, and Dunn Edwards said it was improper preparation. Michael later reneged on his promise to "make it right" and I am stuck painting a large part of my house again. read more

Mike and David did an incredible job painting our house. We got the entire interior done (baseboards, doors, closets, ceilings, and walls). They were helpful in selecting the appropriate colors and sheens for each item and use excellent Dunn Edwards paint. They were the best priced painters for the job as well. Not only that but they were flexible with the timing of the job as the closing of our house was unfortunately pushed out a week. Mike has always done a great job as I've had him paint for me on a previous house as well. You can expect to get a real professionally painted house when you use La Conte Pro Painting. What a true professional! I Just purchased my home and needed it painted before the holidays. Michael gave me a 4-5 day window of competition on my 2900sqft home. He showed up everyday on time and even finished the job on the 4th day. I couldn't be more impressed with the quality of the paintwork and the straightness of the lines on the borders. Michael was very professional and so was his brother. I needed the whole house panted. There where a lot of hairline cracks and minor details that needed to be addressed. He was super through and did not rush the job. I was impressed that he did not water down the paint and did not cut any corners i.e cheap paint. Absolutely first-rate!! I can't say enough good things about Michael and his company. Before we hired him, he came out to our home in Buckeye to give us an estimate which was extremely reasonable. Our home had never been painted since it was built in 2005 and it needed stucco repair and some caulking, all of which was included in the price. We have a one-story home and chose 4 paint colors from Dunn-Edwards, which is the paint Michael uses, and he does NOT water down the paint. He added some extra rolling of our soffit with no additional charge and did a FANTASTIC job -- all the taping was neat, clean, and thorough. He took great care working around existing shrubs and fixtures. Plus his communication is first-rate. He always texted us to let us know when he would arrive or when he was finished for the day. Not a drop on tile, windows or door hardware. * Woodwork looks and feels like factory finish. * Called me, texted me, or emailed with communication on job scheduling and job progress. *ALWAYS showed up when he said he would. We needed a painter to paint the whole house that we were putting on the market. Michael La Conte gave us the best bid. He gave a quick turn around time and was finished when he said he would be. The house looks great! He filled in all the holes from the pictures we had hung, took of all the switch plates and outlet plates. He painted around the windows and they look good (which is not always the case; too often the windows aren't done right). He is licensed and bonded. Michael an his brother just finished painting our house on the exterior. He was so professional I had to write about his performance. We had a lot of cracks on the stucko that he had to repair. He was on time when he said he would be there. He made a second trip , because I was not sure about the colors I needed for the HOA. He matched everything exactly. The house really pops now , an everyone is conmmenting on the job. The price was better than anyone else we got a quote, an he is bonded, an lincensed. He finished the job in a very timely manner. We have had other house's painted an this was by far the best job, an the easiest person we have ever worked with.
