The steak is served on a hot stone with 3 homemade sauces , peppercorn , whisky gravy and chimichurri. I had the Bone-in rib eye. I ate EVERY MORSEL!!! The best steak I've ever had - grilled perfectly medium rare , not salty and tender. The grilled vegetables side were good too , very fresh . And the added bonus was the INCREDIBLE Sangria. Refreshing and strong. Sooooo good ! The nostalgia hanging around from the owners memorabilia is also great and fun to peruse . First up was the Mr. Porter focaccia bread with a hummus, herbs, olive oil and yogurt dip, a different bread choice from most steakhouses and really fresh and good. Next was the Taboon Roasted Foie Gras, which was flavorful, rich and perfectly cooked. The staff came across stuffy at first but eventually loosened up. We had two waiters attend to us and second provided great service. When I ordered the dessert first, our waiter said he had to check if that could be done. They allowed it but I thought it was weird that he had to ask. We ordered the homemade catalan crema (creme brulee) based on their recommendation and it was delicious. Cole had the chocolate coolant and he enjoyed it. We ordered the Paella con mariscos for (2) and that was enough for the three of us. We also ordered (2) portions of bread. The bread order came with a whole tomato and a whole garlic clove unpeeled. I had never been served that way but "when in Rome". I cut that tomatoes, crushed the garlic, added olive oil salt n pepper and made us a little dip for the bread. When paella came out I was surprised that the shellfish did not come with the shell. The flavor of the paella was really good. We squeezed lemon on top and had an enjoyable meal. At the end of the meal our server brought us some cake (pound cake?) and a sweet white wine to put on top. Perfect end to our evening.
