Very lucky to find this small steakhouse, which is within easy walking to Sagrada Familia. We had one steak , prime filet, 250 gms which was plenty, came with a side ( baked potato), and salad with goat cheese & walnuts. The steak comes out pre cooked, on a very hot stone. So ordering medium rare, you get rare, but it continues to cook. Never gets cold! If you want a single medallion cooked more, just set it on the stone and it's seared and hot! My partner said it was one of the best steaks anywhere! Beef sourced in Ireland. The wine excellent, as suggested for pairing by staff. Finished with a hot chocolate mousse cake with whip cream and ice cream. It was a delightful dinner. The owner is Scottish, and the decor reflects their heritage. A very pleasant place. Highly recommend.
We were on vacation in Barcelona and were lucky to find this place near Sagrada Familia. We did not have a reservation, but they very kindly accommodated our group of 6. The meal was the best we have had our trip! We ordered the mix grill which was shared by two and it came with three amazing sauces! Our group also ordered pork ribs and burgers and all came out delicious! Definitely recommend on your next trip to Barcelona.
We went to The Venue Steakhouse based on a recommendation from someone on our trip and it did not disappoint. What a great place. We walked in and was greatly warmly and shown to our seats. The items on the walls had my attention and include a signed Pele jersey from Brazil. The food was outstanding. We both had the filet and it was brought out to us to be cooked on a hot sizzling stone that we got to cook to our desired temperature with three different types of dipping sauces. The service was outstanding and very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking a good meal and a fun place to hang out with friends.
Who would think of finding such a top notch steakhouse in Barcelona? The owner is originally from Scotland, and prepared really quality steak dishes with European touch. Believe me, this is better than even those steakhouses in US that charge over $100/person. This is conveniently located within 2 blocks of Sagrada Famila. The decor within the restaurant is cozy and homey. We were impressed with every single dishes we ordered. Unexpectedly, we cleaned every plate given the amount we ordered. Here are the dishes we ordered and recommended: 1) Mushrooms in herbs 2) Filet with grilled vegetables and three types of sauces (French pepper sauce, herbs sauce and red wine sauce) were served alongside. 3) Lamb chops with mushroom mixed salad. 4) Souffle with vanilla ice cream Our meal ended with complementary lemon cello -- Strong but wonderful touch. We highly recommend this restaurant and will come back at our future visit at Barcelona
Wow! Spent some time in Barcelona and wanted a nice dinner to end our vacation. We found Venue Steakhouse, which was a short walk from our hotel and my friends and I were so glad we did! The servers were so kind, attentive, and helpful. Back in the US we love our steak and i have to say, this was the best meal any of us has had in awhile. We ordered the filet, steak skewer, Scottish meat pie, and ribs, and assorted grilled vegetables. All were absolutely cooked to perfection. The presentation was beautiful too! I could go on , but will post pictures instead. This is a small , homey and welcoming place. Give Venue a try and you won't be disappointed!
We can't say enough! WOW We could have eaten here every night in Spain! We have never had such "melt in your mouth" steaks as we did here! You MUST plan to go here if you are ever in Barcelona, Spain! Trust me - you will be like WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! We asked Rab to come open one in FL and we would run the one here for him!
One of the best steaks I have ever had in my life, and I am a very picky person.When it comes to buying steaks at a restaurant, if it is not better than how I cook steaks than it's not good; but not in this case. The owner is super friendly and told me that he gets his meats imported from Ireland. The idea of cooking the steaks while you are eating it is so unique and amazing. The cut of beef was perfect, so juicy, fatty, and full of flavor. My girl got the filet with a side of vegetables and she loved it so much. An amazing cut of beef so tender. I will say if you like your steaks medium rare, I would recommend asking for your steaks rare. All in all my favorite restaurant in Barcelona to this day.
This is a must stop if your are in Barcelona. The place is quaint and quiet. There are both bus and metro stops within a few blocks of the restaurant for easy access. They have suspended the tableside meat viewing currently, but the staff explained everything in detail. The staff brought us a complimentary plate of the assorted Spanish sausages. The spicy one was loved by the entire table and had a amazing smokiness too it. We ordered a side of the seasoned herbed mushrooms and the meatballs with red sauce/cheese. The mushroom were great but the meatballs were simply amazing. They were the best meatballs I have had hands down and the table agreed that we all would order them for an actual meal, since they were so good. The red sauce was just perfect, not too overpowering but complimenting the meat. We each had the 250g sirloin and it was done perfectly, while super tender and juicy. The staff cut our steaks and showed us how to utilize the hot stone. The hot stone made sure each bite was the prefect temperature. For the superb quality and flavor of the food with the amount, the price is a bargain.
I am so glad we got to visit this steakhouse before leaving Barcelona. They start off by bringing you a tray of steaks and explaining what they have. Their steaks are MASSIVE! I got a cheeseburger which was also surprisingly larger than expected. It has a amazing flavor and came with a fried egg on the side. As my side I got a baked potato with butter and sour cream. I have to say it was an amazing meal, but I could not finish it if I wanted. So much food! Their alcohol is very reasonably priced, a bottle of house white was 14 euros, the least expensive i saw at a restaurant here, and a nice restaurant at that. After dinner our waitress offered us a shot on the house of whatever we would like, nice touch.
What an experience! We had a great time at The Venue and had some of the best steaks we've ever had! The owner imports the wonderful beef from his home county of Scotland. The very pleasant servers brought out a plate of the different cuts of beef to show you the sizes and styles of cut, which was pretty cool. You could see just how fresh it was. They had everything from t-bones, filet mignon, to burgers. They also had a massive tomahawk steak, although we didn't try that one. The steaks were expertly prepared and delicious. They even had options for vegetarians (at a steakhouse...go figure). My daughter said their veggie burger was phenomenal. The beef is served on a very unique plate which has three beef sauces for dipping, and the beef if in a scorching hot stone slate that allows the beef to continue cooking at the table and stay warm. They actually provide bibs since the steak will continue to sizzle. Don't be ashamed to wear your bib, otherwise, you'll be wearing home a reminder of your fabulous steak! They also had a very good wine list with local selections and beers from Scotland. Being Americanos in Barcelona, it was nice to have a full staff who could speak perfectly fluent English. The decor is what you'd expect from a good laid back Scottish pub...guitars signed by Robert Plant and Noel Gallagher from Oasis, autographed jerseys from Pele and George Best, and underwear from Rachel Hunter. You know, the normal stuff. Definitely recommended if you're a beef lover! Thanks, Rab! We had a great time!
I love, love, love this place! I wish I can take it home with me! Service is superior food is out Of this world! We've order 500g t-bone & 500g ribeye steaks. Delicious! It came on a hot stone so the meat stays hot through out the meal. Pasta with meat sauce (homemade) was excellent. We've had to reordered it. Asked for more sauce and they made extra for us. Then we had chocolate lava cake and homemade cheesecake. It is not a lie, everything was delicious. It is a must come place! I recommend to anyone visiting Barcelona!

On a vacation to Barcelona I decided to look through some blogs for restaurants. Luckily, I found this gem !!! The food was exceptionally good and priced very reasonably. The steak is served on a hot stone with 3 homemade sauces , peppercorn , whisky gravy and chimichurri. I had the Bone-in rib eye. I ate EVERY MORSEL!!! The best steak I've ever had - grilled perfectly medium rare , not salty and tender. The grilled vegetables side were good too , very fresh . And the added bonus was the INCREDIBLE Sangria. Refreshing and strong. Sooooo good ! The nostalgia hanging around from the owners memorabilia is also great and fun to peruse . If you travel to Barcelona - add this to your list of excellent restaurants to try . Everyone was friendly and welcoming! read more

We stumbled across this restaurant that had an open street table. We were just looking for a bathroom and a drink, but saw Keanu Reeves all over the door and decided to look at the menu. We are SO LUCKY we ordered. It was 4:30, when most places are closed, and they had an awesome menu. We orders the mixed meat platter, two types of potatoes, and the carpaccio. It was one of the best meals we have had in Spain!!!! read more

Calling my yelp elites and foodie yelpers. If you plan to pass by Barcelona, Spain: I have found an experience in the smallest most comfortable steak house. It opens pass noon and has limited seating. I went when it just opened, and the staff is amazing. Let me end this intro like this: the bartender offered me a shot on the house welcoming me to Barcelona. So there is a menu, but the waitress brings you heaven on a plate (pictured) to chose the meat you want . I shared a tomahawk steak with my bro. It is a irish place so be ready for meat. I also got a side of fries and some drinks. The waitress came and cut up the meat so we can effortlessly enjoy. It was amazing mixed with the saucses and available rose salt. In all, it will be part of my routine when in Spain. read more

Came here because one of the girls were craving steak. Looked up the reviews and decided to give this place a go. We were not disappointed at all. Our experience was amazing from the time we walked in to the time we walked out. WOW! We all ordered the filet steak and mashed potatoes. It came out on a block of coal with three amazing sauces. One of the girls ordered the Salmon which she said was delicious. The presentation was on point as well. After we were done they offered us a "digestion" shot. We knocked that back and wow, it was strong as a drink. A big thank you all the way from United States of America to The Venue Steakhouse in Barcelona for the hospitality and the amazing food. If ever in Barcelona again, I will be coming back. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed! read more
Christmas Eve I had the pleasure of joining friends at one of their favorite restaurants. We sat upstairs where it's more cozier. I originally ordered a lemon drop but it was a little tart. I asked for simple syrup and the sweet hostess insists that if I don't like it she would make me the Long Island, best one I've ever had. My friends had told me about the hot stone that the steaks are served on. Its best to order medium because your steak continues to cook well after you receive it. I love ribeye with bone, when it arrived with five small roasted cherry tomatoes I was amazed at the size. I order this back in the states but never this size for such a reasonable price. My friends and I had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner and eventually the owner came upstairs from the kitchen to greet us. My friend Al showed him the review he did in 2017 of his Restuarant. He shared with us his struggle to stay in business after Covid-19 Shut the world down. We are certainly happy he survived when many didn't. This was my first trip since being widowed. My wife would have loved this place ( and help me finish that Steak). I'm looking forward to returning to this place. read more

Best Steak I have EVER had in Europe!!! My daughter recommended the Venue Steakhouse, sharing that it was more of a Ma and Pa type of establishment. We were warmly greeted, and my wife chose to be seated upstairs, where it was a bit quieter than downstairs. She says that I talk too much to strangers when we travel, and she wanted some her time. The menu had lots of options and I chose the Bone-in Ribeye, while my wife chose the Rump Steak. We decided on the roasted vegetables, with me requesting the baked potato, and my wife asking for the patatas fritas. The steaks came out on a volcano hot stone and wood carving block, and were gorgeous, with the Ribeye being the largest that I had ever been served at a restaurant. It has been shared in other reviews of this place, but it is important for me to repeat it, if you like your meat medium rare, order it that way, and expect it to come out a little undercooked, as the stone will continue to cook it while you enjoy it. If you are concerned about your food overcooking, be sure to ask for a plate to place your steak on so that it does not overcook. We discovered that the owner was from Scotland and that he imported his beef from there. It was phenomenal, with a fabulous flavor, and a very tender texture. The vegetables were perfectly prepared, although they brought my wife a baked potato like me, instead of the patatas fritas. No worries, it was good enough to not say anything about it. We really enjoyed our meal, and asked to speak with the owner, who was also cooking some of the meals that evening. We told him how much we enjoyed our meal and had an enjoyable conversation with him. If you are in need of a good steak while in Barcelona, I would only recommend The Venue Steak House.
