They also have a full bar, and the prices were very reasonable. The servers were very friendly and efficient, which made the experience even better. Only minor issue was the smoke detector that continued to beep inside indicating the battery needed to be changed. We actually returned a few days later, and the beeping continued. It was kind of annoying. Other than that Rancho Viejo was excellent.

Where can we get a variety of Mariscos (seafood) that was fresh and tasty. Thankful he shared this little gem with us, El Toro Güero! It was about a 10 to 15 minute walk from our Airbnb. It was in the middle of a residential area and surprisingly pretty large. The service was incredible, we were sat down immediately, put right in front of a large fan and cold drinks were brought to us immediately. They brought out all the tostadas, crackers, and all the condiments we would need. Our table ordered a variety of plates and we enjoyed ask the seafood and appetizers including stuffed yellow chilis and stuffed potatoes. The only thing that was terrible was the chicken plate, it was a bad choice for us to make considering it's a seafood restaurant. They also have fresh agua frescas, we had the we had the refreshing cucumber lime water, and it was not too sweet. Very delicious! Surprisingly, they also served a zero proof alcohol beer, which was unheard of as we toured the rest of the city and other restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place! I'm guessing the chorizo was housemade because it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended. We also got some elotes-style corn that was so sweet and lightly charred. I also selected the gaonera, suadero, and chicharron ribeye tacos. All had great "over the coals" flavor tucked into fresh, soft tortillas. Make sure to save room for dessert. I got the fondant de chocolate. Our server advised it would be a 20-minute wait, but it was totally worth it - beautiful presentation with a molten chocolate center. Good value and great experience!
