Al Pastor Tacos
Derrick D.

I was craving tacos and was looking for something close by and came across this truck. I ordered three Al Pastor tacos. The meat was cooked decent and was flavorful. some tacos were crisp while others were soft hot sauce and mild sauce went well with the tacos. Overall, I would recommend this place. Give it a try. There are seats outside where you can sit and it's in the parking lot where the shell gas pump is.

This is my cousin's favorite taco place so of course I'm giving it a 5. It's a taco truck tucked in a parking lot of a gas station in Everett. The tacos are so authentic and all the ingredients are fresh. The people that work there are so nice. Pro tip is to call ahead on the way there because they make the tacos fresh.

The good - we've eaten here before and it's always amazing. The bad - it is NOT amazing today. Rice seems old and stale. More than a few rice "balls" on my plate. The beans are cold... and the muleta is so GREASY I won't even eat it. Really disappointed.

Salsa they give you for a big burrito....

To start off the customer service tonight was not the best... The burritos are good but unfortunately they are very very stingy with their salsa ... they give you one tiny tiny little container of salsa and if you ask for more they tell you they cant give you more if not they have to charge you.... You want to tell me they eat their salsa with that tiny little container as well ! if you want people to return treat them better and give a decent amount of salsa for the amount of burrito you make.

Today I went to get food and found a hair in my food

I went to get food and found this in my food and the lady take orders is super rude and was trying to hurry me up to order

This is going to be my regular stop when I drive to and from Seattle. Location: This taco truck located is at the 76 station at (I-5) Exit 186. Food: I had tostadas. I love tostadas. I have eaten tostadas every chance I have had, but their tostadas were by far the best. An order comes with two tostadas with lots of meat and veggies and is only $7. Eating-in: They have a little "shed" thing next to their truck. So, you can eat there. Payment: Cash only. Recommendation: When you are in the neighborhood, you owe yourself to give them a try.

I randomly spotted La Costa Taqueria while we were getting gas at the 76 station. They're right off the I5 (exit 186). If we hadn't been low on gas, we would never have stopped and found this taco truck. We dropped by on a Sunday (around 3:00pm) and there was a small but constant queue of people getting food. They have a tin shack if you want to eat and stay out of the elements. Two sauces (a mild green and spicier red) are in squeeze bottles. The menu has a bit of everything but we were only interested in tacos. There's a good variety of meats. Sadly, they were already out of pescato. - 4x Tacos ($6.50 US) - all the tacos were $1.50 US except for the lengua ($2.00 US). We tried the pollo, adobada, cabeza and lengua. Best taco was easily the lengua; super tender but still with a good bite. The cabeza (head) was also delicious. We always love the off cut meats the best. Adobada was juicy and moist but the pollo was a touch overcooked. Bonus points for the garnishes (pickled carrot, radish, grilled onion and grilled jalapeno pepper). Cash only. A surprising find at LCT; some solid tacos that I'd come back for next time we're road tripping.

*CASH ONLY* I don't even know where to start with this review, but I am so happy to have found my new favorite place for street tacos! Everyone is so warm and welcoming whenever you walk up to order. To be honest, it's always hard for me to decide what to order because everything is always so good! My top 2 orders are tacos, and burrito la costa. For the meat I typically order steak or spicy pork! Their chicken is good too. I rarely ever have to use the salsa because the food is flavorful already! I've never had a disappointing experience coming here so I highly suggest trying this place out :)

Food: (5/5) I always drive 164th so I've been eyeing this spot for a long time. My partner and I decided to finally stop by last week and our minds were blown!! We got the fried catfish, collard greens, black eyed peas, corn bread, and sweet potato pie. Everything was AMAZING. The catfish was crunchy on the outside and perfectly succulent on the inside. The black eyed peas and collard greens were both delicious savory additions to the meal with great texture. The cornbread had additions of cheese and peppers, and was a yummy mix of sweet and salty. The sweet potato pie, which we learned Andre's wife makes, was beyond addicting. If we hadn't had a snack before coming, we would've cleared everything immediately. We plan to try everything on the menu, especially the fried okra! Service: (5/5) This was probably the most memorable food experience I have ever had. Andre, the owner, is extremely passionate about his work and it shows in everything that he does. We ended up chatting for quite awhile and our conversation reminded me of everything that's important in my personal life, in the best way. Please come by! You won't regret it for a second.

There are so many things on their menu that look good but we stuck with the street tacos. We had to try a bunch of different kinds. I will call out that the pollo asada was the clear cut winner. Quesabirria was second. Both the Al Pastor and Asada came in third. Not to say any were not to our liking. The Chicken was just so flavorful. The sauces were fantastic as well. The avocado sauce was BOMB. Also great hot sauces. Both hot and flavorful. Most of the time they're either too plain or not hot at all. This place checked all the boxes, and now that we know this place is close by and has the goods we will frequent here I have no doubt! Orders are placed at the truck window. Rather than invest in pagers like most other food trucks, we were advised to return in 10-15 minutes to pick our order up. My wife ordered the Quesadilla (Combo #4) for $9.99: meat choice was Al pastor and served with a side of beans. The quesadilla was okay in taste, a bit heavy handed with pineapple and greasy. I ordered the Big Burrito (Combo #3) for $10.99: meat choice was carnitas, rice, beans, pico de gallo, guacamole and sour cream. I was happy with my menu choice. Matter of fact, my wife and I shared my burrito and ended up wasting the quesadilla. Meals are served on awful Styrofoam plate-ware. Come on Ever's, there are many better choices than non-recyclable Styrofoam. The most memorable thing about Ever's is their delicious spicy red sauce. I could drink this sauce up. My wife preferred the avocado salsa over the red salsa. Overall, I'm glad we were able to experience Ever's; however, Ever's is not my favorite food truck to date.
