This being a roadtrip this time around I took advantage of the full kitchen versus using my camp stove. With both fructose and lactose malabsorption it's very comforting to cook for myself. And having access to a full kitchen allowed me to make a rice and steak dinner and then in the morning make a cup of rice for the road, plus hard boil chicken and duck eggs I gathered the day prior. The duck eggs were fantastic! Just like in 2023, the Cajun jam night on Wednesday didn't disappoint. Such great music and wonderfully friendly people. One experience I was hoping to relive from 2023 was the ghost encounter in the balcony room; ghost sat on my feet! Unfortunately this go around in 2026, no ghost experience so just be aware there is a spirit, albeit a friendly spirit, inhabiting the Blue Moon. This isn't just a place to stay but a place to experience. We look forward to coming back.

I have never really been here before until my friends decided to go for festival. I stopped by greenroom after festival and my friend and I are masc lesbians. I waited 15 min for this guy and he completely ignored us and wouldn't even look at us. I asked my other friend who is a straight pretty blonde girl to order for me and as soon as I took a step back behind her. He came up to her and took "my order". While still completely ignoring me and not even looking at me. I don't know what his deal was and I didn't think much about it until it continued to happen three days in a row. I am 23 years old, it is kind of odd that I had to ask my friends to order my beer for me because of him. I am a bartender myself, so I understand being "busy" but this dude would be standing there doing nothing and still ignoring me but as soon as a new customer came up next to me he went straight up to them within 5 seconds and took there order. One person was even nice enough to point to me and say she was here first and he looked at me then looked away and it was that moment when I realized he is intentionally doing this. I am from out of state and I have no idea who this man is. So I don't know why he pretended I didn't exist. My only thought is, since he ignored me and another masc lesbian but served our straight friends when we stepped behind them, he is discriminating. Which is a crazy word to say considering the pride flags hung everywhere. I would like to come back one day but after thinking about the situation all weekend and wondering why. It's located behind Marley's sport's bar, which I love, just walk through Marley's all the way to the back. It then opens into this huge courtyard with lots of seating and games (connect four, bag toss) and TVs, I think just one tv. Continue walking and you're in the annex which is a smaller bar. There's a direct entrance to Legends, I think it's Polk Street. Both Marley's and the Polk Street entrances check ID. Brooke our bartender greeted us with such a warm sweet smile and gave us great conversation. Go see Brooke if you find yourself here! To say it's a beer and burger joint, the frozen margaritas aren't bad at all. The burgers are not too small and not ginormous but has a decent size patti and taste fresh, like a homemade burger. I ordered the original burger (onions & cheese) and other condiments (pickles, tomatoes, mayo, ketchup, mustard) come on the side. After our order arrived, another employee, I think one of the cooks, checked on us as well, that was courteous of him. My favorite thing about this spot is the large outdoor area, it's just a really nice chill vibe. Oh and there's a nice playlist, hip hop, rock, pop, something for everyone.

Waited and waited for our food, asked about it multiple times, were ignored. Finally saw our food sitting on a back counter but no one brought it to us. When I finally went to the counter and asked if we could get our food was told "It's not my job to serve food". I had to ask to be given the food and brought it to our table myself. By that time the food was over cooked, cold and the cheese on the hamburgers had hardened again due to the cold burgers. Not what I would have expected of Legends. Very disappointed.
