Great, great place. Make sure you request for Betty because she is the most gentle, talented, and friendly facial therapist that I've ever encountered. Everything here is great and they use high quality products - some of which they send you home with samples with. I used to come about every two weeks but the place is definitely pricey. A regular deep cleansing or glyco-peel can run up to $90 unless you get their pre-paid 12 session package which brings it down to $85. But after tip, a facial can you run you anywhere from $95-105. But do spoil yourself every so often and come visit Betty! read more

I went to this place trying to make another appointment because i had a dental appointment that I couldn't miss and I didn't know their cancellation policy because my mom is the one that signed up the membership and the lady over there said she was not legally obligated to talk to me even though I deliberately said that I was her daughter and said that she doesn't have to talk to me. La Desir is a clean and professional facility. The ambience is very relaxing and makes you feel very comfortable the moment you step in. I requested a deep cleansing facial via phone and was evaluated before the facial to ensure that was the most suitable facial based on my skin type. Shelby performed my facial and she was very gentle. The facial definitely helped clean out my pores and there is a noticeable difference. They also include a head, shoulder and arm massage during the facial! My only concerns were that the staff left the door open during much of my session for some reason which was not ideal. Also, when I scheduled my appointment, the front desk person confirmed my facial would be with Betty but when I arrived, I was informed that Shelby would be doing the facial. Got a facial today with Joanne. Paid $95 for the collagen mask facial, kind of different than their price chart, but oh well. I like how gentle and detailed Joanne was with the pore squeezing part. She gave me a very quick hand massage, a good neck and shoulder massage, briefly trimmed my eyebrows. The spa is small but good atmosphere for the most part. I was probably the last client for the day because half way through my facial, all the aestheticians were outside the room talking and laughing loudly, kind of ruined the spa experience from that point on. I pre-purchased 6 facials with them to get one free, hope i am making the right decision! I will update my review after my second visit a month later. read more

I am usually here to get a deep tissue massage treatment for my injured muscles. Lulu is the best masseuse I've ever met. I considered Lulu is more of a physical body "healer" than a regular masseuse. Lulu's way of massage is unique and customized. She actually has the intention to "heal" your overused body. First, I have to state that I am not a competitor in the field. Overall, the service is fine, and the place is clean. However, One thing I really do not like is they are very pushy for the their services especially the lady named Shelby. She gives you a weird look if you schedule a longer time to come back. She just pushes you to use up the sessions of your package ASAP so you have to renew it. Second, the pricing of body massage session is relatively higher than other SPA in the area especially when they don't have any facilities for sauna, etc. They charge $65 for one hour session of body massage. With the same price, I would like to go to Diamond family SPA that offers many kinds of facilities. read more

All I have to say is ever since I started getting facials here my skin has improved drastically. Iv been coming here for about 6 months now. I first came here because of the yelp reviews, I was skeptical because the previous facial I recieved made me break out even more so I was literally traumatized. But because my skin was getting so bad due to stress from work I decided to look around and this place had a fair price 65 for the basic facial. Which isnt too bad because the places I called were giving me quotes of 85 -100. I called in told betty mt concerns and when I arrived she set me up with shelby and boy am I glad. Shelby does an amazing job. She really knows how to extract! My pimples are not average they are very deep so if you attempt to extract them and you dont completely remove the roots they come back worst. Shelby is so gentle but at the same time she takes her time which is great. It normally takes her an hour and a half to finish my facial and she never skips a step. Shes also great at massages very Strong hands ! If you have serious acne come see shelby she is great with extraction and she honest about what ypu need for your skin. I am always in search of a good place for facials. I am pretty happy with my experience here. I called today for a last minute facial. They were pretty nice over the phone. I got the vitamin C facial for $110. The owner did my facial (I can't remember her name). They did a pretty good job with extractions. They also shaped my brows for free as part of the facial. After the facial, my complexion is much brighter, even, hydrated. If my complexion can stay like this, I wouldn't need foundation! I am very happy with the results. As for the place itself, its really clean. It's not big, but more than adequate. The best part was that they didn't push their packages on me. I find that at Chinese/Asian places, they always tries to make you buy a package! I am really glad that they didn't pressure me here. Most people would not recommend facials for men, but I brought my bf for a couple session and he loved it. One time, he was so relaxed that he snored while having a facial right next to me in the same room. I highly recommend this to anyone. I've been a regular customer since 2006 and live about a couple of hours away from La Desir. I can't stop going back! I would purchase their package deal all the time and always take advantage of it. Worst experience ever. I booked my appt for 10am and asked the girl I spoke with that I wanted a deep tissue massage and an acne facial or whatever was similar. She said she had me down for the massage and that when I got to spa they would evaluate my skin to tell me what kind of facial I should get. When I arrived The receptionist said to wait and they would be right with me. I sat waiting for 10-15 minutes before some other girl came out and told me I was early too early for my 10:30 appt. I really thought I had heard 10am for my appointment but since it was only a half hour I let it go. I got into the room and Betty(the owner) started my massage. I'm not quite sure what kind of massage she gave me because that was not a deep tissue massage. It felt more like a Thai Massage where they just push down on all points of your body. It wasn't what I wanted but I hate being the person to complain. The horror started when in the middle of my massage I constantly kept hearing the other employees gossiping in the room next to me. Then one of the employees comes into the room to tell Betty something, this happened 3 different times during my massage. Then about 15 minutes before my massage was over another woman walks in and says she's going to do my facial. But first Betty asks me if I requested a regular facial because she was unsure of what kind of facial I wanted because she was not the one who spoke with me when I booked my appt. So I ended up having a facial and Betty trying to finish my massage at the same time. Throughout the whole time they were gossiping back and forth. I couldn't wait to get the hell out of there, this was not a relaxing experience. These women were all very nice but they really shouldn't conduct business in such a poor manner.
