I really like how flexible scheduling is with this location. They were able to fit me in last minute for the next day. This place is really peaceful and quiet. The atmosphere is very enjoyable. When I arrived, the front staff were very nice and accommodating. They were able to get me the introductory pricing. There were many different type of packages depending on what type of service and skin type I had. I wasn't sure which one to receive so the beautician chose the type of facial for me. I requested a service that will take dead skin off of my face because I explained that they're often is a lot of dry skin that is on my face. She chose a service that helped with reducing redness and irritation of the skin. The positive: the front staff is kind. The products they use feel luxurious and smells nice. The location is clean and welcoming. There are many types of services to choose from. My service was relaxing and the products did not irritate my skin which is a plus. However, there were a few downsides to the service. First, the beautician did not speak English and had a hard time communicating. At some point, I felt she got frustrated and did not speak much afterwards. It was really awkward after that. Second, I wanted my face to feel clean but after my service, my face still felt like it was not clean and I was able to rub dead skin off still... the facial did not do much for my skin at all. Third, pricing is a bit steep and although the product is nice, I feel like the service was not worth the price itself. First timer, I would say it was a pleasant experience. The ladies were lovely, they helped me out every step of the way. They have a form you fill out and check in device in Wich I didn't post because it had their wifi info and want to keep it private. Once I entered the room it was instant relaxation mode. They had water sounds with relaxing music, light was dim and the dim lights gave it an extra touch. I was given a basket and drape to put around me when I took my clothes off and laid in the bed Wich was warm. I was helped by Angela, she was so delicate and kind. I will definitely ask for her again. The massages included in the facial were so great! Thank you hun! I got the hydro and cleansing session, which lasted about an hour and 20 min. They gave amazing head and shoulder massages and the highlight was how Joanna cleaned my face thoroughly. I'm very picky with my face and a facial place to go. Sadly I didn't receive the service I expected. It could be because of the esthetician that was assigned to me. I don't remember the name of the facial I ordered but it was for lifting where they use a tool and lift your skin with it for about 10 mins. Took a picture of it, at times she would press too hard for my liking. This was a 90 minute facial, where they start off with a head massage and some shoulders. You get a discount if it's your first time there. Then they apply a mask and massage your hands. Both massages were 3/5. Mask felt good along with the other skin products they use. But I think I will try a different facial if I do ever come back, still thinking about it. Service was mediocre, I did feel pressured from both the esthetician and the girl at the front desk on getting packages, definitely didn't like that, especially when I'm trying to relax. It was also hard to understand them since they didn't speak very good English. I think I will ask for Jade next time to recommend the facial and esthetician if I do decide to go back. read more

I took one star off not for the facial itself but for the presentation of the services. There are no brochures available either specific treatments or products used. There is only one person at the counter checking clients in and out and this place gets busy. Most staff are Mandarin speaking and English is limited. Also Jade was very patient and quick to answer any questions I had when booking an appointment. The only issue was there was no communication in a switch in my beauty technician. I was not notified that the person I had requested was not available or knew about the switch until after completion of my services. Today was my 3rd time visiting iCare, and honestly I was a bit sad learning that my previous esthetician Mandy no longer works there. However, I had no idea that my visit today would end up being the BEST facial I have ever received in my life. I'm not exaggerating. I went to other places between my last visit and today and I will never go anywhere else again. Andrew at the front desk was very kind and helpful, and I love the aesthetics of the place. So bright and clean. Now on to the facial. Amy reminded me of my favorite Auntie. She was sweet, funny, and straight up told me I need to take better care of my skin (I really do lol). She made sure to spend extra time on the areas of my skin that needed the most help. By the end of the facial, my dehydrated skin was clean and bouncy. She also somehow knew my eyes were extremely tired and massaged around my eyes, starting from the brow bone all the way around to where my eyebags are. I have never had a massage around my eyes - it felt soooo good!!! What I like about this place is they give a scalp/neck/upper body massage and Amy did not skimp out on this part. Now I usually prefer extra pressure for these areas because I get crazy knots and a light touch does not do ANYTHING for me. Amy used the perfect amount of pressure to melt the stress away, making sure to ask if I was OK. I used to think this place was a 10/10 but after today it is a solid 20/10!!! I went in yesterday as a first time client to get a facial and my esthetician was Amy. Everything was going ok at first, but then I started noticing Amy was becoming a little rough and when the extractions came around I was holding back my tears. The extractions hurt so bad. I feel like my face was left worst then when I first walked in. I woke up this morning to my face being extremely red and swollen. A facial should boost your confidence and make you feel refreshed and that was far from how I felt today. I was so embarrassed with how my face looked I had to wear a face mask all day. I've been a customer at icare since February 2023. Over time, I've tried different estheticians, and now I've found one I prefer and consistently see. That's why I was surprised by what happened this week. Jade texted me, asking to switch my appointment time and try her new esthetician, Amy. Dealing with acne for most of my life, even in my 40s, it's crucial for me to have someone skilled at extraction, which they assured me Amy was. On the day of my appointment, I asked Amy to steam my face longer to help open the pores for extraction. With over 20 years of experience getting facials for my acne, I can usually tell if something's not right. As Amy began the extraction, it was clear she lacked experience, and it was unusually painful. I expressed my concerns to Amy, but she continued, causing more discomfort. Eventually, I had to ask her to stop. After the facial, Amy didn't mention the bruising or red marks on my face. Imagine my surprise, when I check out my face in the mirror to find my face looking way worse than when I came in for a facial. When I informed Jade, who helped me book the appointment, she apologized and brought Amy. Amy made excuses for the situation and didn't apologize once. Jade offered me extra time for LED treatment and some products to take home. I texted Jade that night, expressing how upset I was about the incident, but most importantly, the way it was handled. The next day, I felt that this was something I needed to address with the owner and asked Jade to connect me with them. She texted me back, saying she could have the owner call me, or I could tell her what I wanted, to which I responded by asking her to have the owner contact me. Then Jade called me, and to my surprise, she told me she is the owner. I was confused because based on the texts, she led me to think there was another owner. So, I reiterated to her how unhappy I was with the way the whole situation was handled with Amy. However, instead of feeling better, I felt worse after our conversation. Jade wouldn't let me finish my sentences and kept talking over me. If Jade herself is shocked as this has never happened and admits that my face looks really bad, shouldn't she try to calm me down, instead of making things worse? I understand the owner thought Amy was a great esthetician, and unfortunately, things like this can happen, but I believe it's important for the owner to handle the situation to calm the client. When I go for a facial, I entrust them to work on my face. That means I believe the owners of the spa should try the facial themselves. Jade claims that Amy has been doing well for the last two months and has extracted other clients and herself. But looking at Jade, she has the clearest skin and not a single pimple in sight. So, how would she know if Amy is good at extracting? There is nothing to extract on her skin. Jade gave Amy a warning for what happened to my face. I wouldn't recommend Amy if you don't want what happened to my face. I'm still upset after 2 days, my face is not looking any better. read more

Found this place on Yelp and wanted to give it a try. Ended up getting their hydrating facial because my skin has been so dry. The facility is clean and the bed you lay on is heated for you as well. The facial includes a scalp massage, shoulder/neck massage, and extractions. Gina did an amazing job and my face feels unbelievable after the facial. Be careful when paying. The lady at the front desk took my card from my hand and inserted it into the machine, instead of tapping. After that day I came in, I had fraudulent transactions on that card totaling $700. I hadn't made any recent purchases on that card before coming into icare but I can't 100% prove it was because of them. Be careful with paying and use the tap feature instead of inserting the chip. The facial itself was ok, I didn't see a big enough difference that was worth the price I paid.
