First of all, the place is very relaxing and has a beautiful receiving area inside. There are plenty of parking in that shopping plaza. When I entered, the front desk had me check in and offered me coffee, juice or water. Then I was guided into the consultation room, wherein the consultant talked to me about my concerns, goals and explained to me my facial treatment and expectations during the whole process. I explained about my dermatitis/eczema around my neck area and that was accommodated. I had a very relaxing and very nice 75 minute facial with head, face, neck, shoulder and upper arm massage included. They also included the leg compression sleeves which was just so good for me since I came from working night shift when I had my appointment. Overall 5/5 experience! I trusted this beauty center and was a loyal client for over a year. Unfortunately, after receiving under-eye filler, I developed a Tyndall effect. When I went back to discuss my concerns, they told me it was due to hormones and aging, even though I am only 41 years old. I felt disappointed and upset, but I wanted to get a second opinion to be sure. I visited another clinic, and the practitioner immediately confirmed that it was a Tyndall effect caused by the filler. I had to pay an additional $500 to have the filler dissolved. When I contacted the beauty center, they told me they could not give me a refund but said they would apply the amount as a credit toward another treatment. However, when I went back today, they changed their position and said they could not do that either. I am very disappointed with both the outcome of the treatment and the way my concerns were handled.
