Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich dipped in Oreo dip and Oreo crumble
    Thierry O.

It was a nice day last saturday so went to Diperie to eat outside while we still can't sit down anywhere... The place is nice, new interior and has abundant menu with frozen cookie dough and dipped ice cream sandwiches. I tried the Ice cream sandwich this time. It was cool to choose a dip and toppings. I found it was expensive for what it was. The cookie texture and taste was too refined and tasted store bought. But with the way the brand is set and the price point doesn't mix with final product . Would hope to see if I come another time they change it, like if it was more homemade and/or if the ice cream was more flavourful.

Everyone raves about this place and with so many Diperie shops opening in and around Montreal, I had to check out the hype. The concept is choose your size, choose your cone, choose your dip, choose your toppings; too many choices but ok?! I had the small (vanilla soft serve was the only option) with salted caramel dip and Skor toppings. The ice cream was okay but with all those bells and whistles, I couldn't really make out if it was good or not. I liked my dip, I liked my chocolate bits but overall, way too sweet; maybe my combination was off. (lol). The venue is small but offers plenty of seating outside to enjoy your sweet treat which is great! The prices are a little high considering that you can spend almost 5$ for a small cone. Overall, I prefer a ice cream shops with a bigger selection of ice cream or that offers sorbets or gelatos for variety, over a place selling candy pieces on my cone. I did give it 3 starts mostly cause I like the shop and it's location, and the service was super friendly and patient with a first-timer like me!

He finished it with 100% concentration, then took a deep breath and said "more-more"

We were visiting from the U.S. and the favorite thing for me was the mini size. How wonderful to have a small, convenient serving. If I lived here I could have an ice cream every time I went past. The concept is soft serve (cone/cup), dipped in a flavored coating, rolled in a topping of your choice. There are almost too many choices for the dippings and toppings. I had a dark chocolate coating. It was yum. My 18 month old really enjoyed his ice cream too.

Drove by many times before but never stopped because the line is always huge!!!! I decided to stop last night and glad I did so because the ice cream is very good and I get why the place is always busy. It is cash only but It is annoying but once you know its not that bad. They have different size cone from mini to large. Took a small and it it pretty big and had a hard time finishing it. Once you pic the size you have to choose your flavor ice cream, then the dip flavor and last but not least the topping. You can make so many combination that you need to be prepared to go back many times to even make a dent in the options. It is a family own busy and I saw previous review about the service but I didn't not have any issues. Everyone behind the desk was helpful and smiling even if it was late and busy. Must try!!!! I will be going back many times this summer

Yummerz. Was dying to try this place and finally got to last summer. I basically can't wait 'till it's summer again to go back. The possibilities are endless and the toppings are so much fun. I tried the maple dipped ice cream with pistachios and the milk chocolate dipped ice cream with pretzels. Mmmm so good. The mini size is good if you're not crazy for ice cream.

1st time at diperie did not disappoint! The toppings were amazing! So many choices didn't even know what to choose! The ice cream was alright very basic but the dips definitely stole the show!

Ice cream is always welcome in summer.. But just chocolat and vanilla ice cream with many many choices of Chocolat dip . I really appreciate that they have the mini size option for ice cream. There is also a little terrasse available.

After I had pizza I felt like having a great ice cream, and I found la Diperie, when I got there, there was a line so I had to wait 15 minutes, I got the big cone with baileys and my topping was Oreo, my friend got milk and as his topping almonds, we really enjoyed the ice cream, every bite was worth it the wait, mine was really creamy and the baileys fitted perfectly on my ice cream I really enjoyed it, I'm definitely going back to this place, I'll bring some friends that want to come to visit me while I'm here in Montreal.

The ice cream is flat out delicious! The girl working there messed up my cone a few times, but started it over without me having to ask and was incredibly nice about it! I will definitely be back here. It's worth the wait. It is a cash only establishment.

It looked cute, so I was glad to sample some of their offerings. From what I can gather, Kem CoBa specializes in specialty ice cream and sorbet flavors, though they also have a small selection of pastries as well. Specifically, they have unique flavor combinations that I had not seen elsewhere. We did not get to choose our flavor during our visit, which was okay as we got one that was quite tasty: raspberry lychee swirled with rose. I was a little hesitant about the rose at first but it wasn't overly floral and paired well with the sweetness of the raspberry. The ice cream was soft serve, and was super smooth. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with Kem CoBa. The ice cream was smooth and tasty, and the offer a product that is not typically seen in other ice cream parlors. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

The chocolate ice cream on the other hand is super saturated (note the Dutch chocolate is the same as the sea salt except the salt). While I loved the ice cream, unless I'm specifically in the mood for something creamy, I actually think I would prefer to get the sorbets next time for the more concentrated gelato-like flavor. The matcha sorbet seemed like a winner, but they also have such a wide range of delicious flavors. They let you try some flavors, which is perfect for an indecisive person like me. Cross my heart and hope to die - Cremerie Meu Meu has the best sorbets I've ever had…read more My friend stumbled upon this ice-cream shop tucked in a tiny storefront near the Mont-Royal station on a blistering hot and humid day in Montreal. We first got a double scoop of the Orange and Arctic Fire Sorbets. I'm not usually one to get orange-flavoured desserts/drinks since I can easily get some old-fashioned OJ, but this Orange Sorbet was absolutely divine on the hot day. Sweet and tangy, yet not overpowering. The Arctic Fire was an interestingly sweet with a floral tone - I wish I remembered the main ingredient, but I was too busy indulging in my ice-cream/sorbet addiction. The sorbets were incredibly good. After we devoured them, we went back in immediately to try more flavours. My friend and I ultimately decided on the Mango and Passion Fruit Sorbets, both representing tangy fruits that we enjoy and love. The owner highly recommended the Cantaloupe to help us cool off, and proceeded to give us a free scoop on top of our packed cup! We were so appreciative of the free scoop, and I'm glad we got to try it out! It was my favourite flavour - it genuinely tasted straight like the fruit, just an ice-y form. My friend's favourite was the Orange. If you're in the Mont-Royal area, make sure to give this place a try! I wish we tried some of their ice-cream flavours, but we already did 5 different sorbet flavours that night. Couldn't afford a brain freeze! I think from now on, I'm gonna start trying Orange-flavoured desserts/drinks.
