As we came out of the pandemic, we noticed that our Frenchie had become very aggressive towards other dogs and passers by. His aggression escalated when we took him camping, and he snapped at some of our friends. Michael was referred to us by a local rescue group who uses him to work on hard to adopt cases. He worked with Duke, and us, and we saw improvements after just one visit. We implemented his advice during our training walks and have continued to take Duke several times per week for training. We can now walk by strangers and dogs without having the embarrassment of his reactive behavior. We highly recommend Michael and his gentle/calm way of training dogs!

Michael is great with dogs, and we saw immediate improvement in our dog's behavior, while under his control. He spent a good amount of time with us, showing how to walk him near other dogs. At home, though he isn't as well behaved as when he's with Michael, our dog has shown gradual improvement with his leash aggression.

I took my Chihuahua puppy to Michael at the recommendation of my vet for socialization and training. My dog went to Michael nearly everyday for over 3 months and became friends with the other dogs there. Michael was great about keeping me updated with awesome pictures and videos. I especially appreciated how much exercise and time he spent with my dog. Other daycares just leave them in a room all day--Michael would run with him, take him to the park and really get all his puppy energy out. By the time he got home he was calm and much more manageable. There's no one I'd rather leave my dogs with! He was a completely different dog after the training and socialization he received.

Michael always does a wonderful job taking care of my baby Luna. Luna gets so excited and loves coming here. She's also way better behaved when I pick her up!

My dog giving Mike a treat before letting him train him LOL sorry Mike!

I rescued a German Shepherd mixed with a Rottie over a year ago and we struggled with walking our dog because we understand we needed training as much as our loved one. Our dog Maverick would lunge after other dogs and get tunnel vision to the point where nothing I said mattered. It was all about killing the other dog... Our solution was to just turn and drag him away as we weren't sure how to do it. I spoke with Michael on the phone on Wednesday and made an appointment to see him Thursday. I brought my dog for a day of training and Michael even gave my dog some more time so he could bond with other dogs. Michael then showed us how we can be a better owner and spent an entire hour after to work with us. Michael cares about dogs and his clients so much that I would highly recommend. If your dog has some behavioral issues, give Michael a call because it is a night and day difference! Thank you Mike I really appreciate you and everyone that helped make Maverick the gentle giant that he is!

Tired after a long day of socialization

Peppa had a great 1st day of training! I'm so happy with her progress after just 6 hours of socialization, and the hour of private training was so valuable. I'm just so thankful because Peppa and I both learned a lot from Michael. The e-collar he uses is very effective and I already see an improvement in her behaviors. I love that there are other dogs (and cats) that Peppa got to be around for an extended period of time. I appreciate that he kept me updated with pictures and videos! We'll book another session soon! (Peppa's face might look unhappy, but that's just her face)

As well as being the most patient person I have ever met, Ashley provides clear instructions, following up to check on progress and make suggestions. Things we worked on, and more importantly, made progress on: reactivity, reactivity in the house, reactivity outside the house, place work, recall, leash work, crate training, and more things I can't remember right now. I would not hesitate to recommend Ashley to anyone needing help with their dog.

Our first, Paloma, is a 4 year old female Doberman Ashley has trained and boarded several times. Recently we had Ashley board Paloma and our newest rescue Paxie, a 9 month old female Doberman that was found on the streets eating out of trash cans and emaciated. Ashley's job was to train and care for both pups for a week while we traveled. We first had concerns with Ashley's attitude when we dropped our girls off. She was rushed, dismissive and never inquired about a training schedule. While we were on our trip we never received updates on their well-being until we saw Ashley posting IG stories calling Paxie "rude" "invasive" and "bullying". These words were used without context and without corrective behavior, it just appeared as ranting not training. Reminder, Paxie is only 9 months old and was abused, neglected and homeless her whole life before us. Later we observed on IG another local "trainer" that we did not hire had Paxie in her care. Ashley never notified or received permission from us to hand Paxie off to another person to care for. She then continued to use inappropriate name calling in a follow up email to us after we asked for an update on Paxie's training during her boarding time (see attachment). This has been very hurtful, disappointing and unprofessional. Our rescue dogs mean everything and we entrusted Ashley to care for them, not have an attitude because Paxie wasn't fitting into her "way of doing things". She talks about her approach being "relationship based". Relationships take patience, care, understanding and empathy. Not name calling and disrespect to clients that have supported Ashley's business for years. Mind you, do your research and confirm Ashley's "credited dog training". Thank you for reading this. Raymond's training program was very thorough & we are very grateful for this program. Our dog Koda was 10 months old when he started the training program he had aggressive tendencies & would always require being carried into his kennel at night time for bed. When it came to walking our dog that wasn't even an option he wouldn't let us put a leash on his neck. After the training program with Raymond for five weeks, we saw significant changes. We were actually able to take him on walks & put a leash on him. When given a command he walks into his kennel without any issues. We highly recommend Raymond's training program.

Luna engaged in a lot of leash pulling and some reactivity when she would see other dogs. Luna is now able to walk calmly and does not overreact when another dog is around or near her. Nova is an anxious pup and her board and train helped her be exposed to public areas, while working on her obedience, learning to settle, gained more confidence in herself and does really well with leash walking. Raymond was thorough and explained things with care and patience on how to continue their training at home, answered any question and concerns we had and provided us with feedback when he had us practice the tools he used with our girls. Def would recommend and come back for extra support in the future if needed.

I called PS dog training and Ellen explained to me how it works. After everything was set up I dropped my boy off at her place for boot camp (yes boot camp lol - he stays with her for 2 weeks if you want that) Her house is in the middle of nowhere but it's really great out there. she has a little run for the smaller dogs and a bigger one for bigger dogs. she also has horses and geese and god knows what else :-) my little one is really scared of people but he didn't act up too bad with her (which is a great compliment) So after a week i wanted him back because....well i missed him :-) that was fine with her and we kept on with training in private sessions once a week. I don't know how it is now but back then she did it like that: you paid a set amount and she will work with you...well until the dog gets it. The next great thing: Boarding. Ellen takes her clients dogs for boarding. it's not cheap but also not really more expensive than others around. She even took our second puppy before he had all his shots (which means she had to keep him seperate from the others so he won't get sick - which she did. and it was HIGHLY appreciated. ) I was never worried when they were with her and they always got excited when they came to Ellen. Long story short - my dog has no perfect manners because I went back home during my husbands deployment and then we moved away from Cali. but if we would have had more time - heck I know she could have made a well behaved doog out of Stewie. He got a lot better (oh and geeez he learns SLOOOOOw lol) but the time was just too short to really accomplish everything we wanted. Ellen is a fun lady and she knows what she is talking about and the most important thing to me: she really cares about the dogs.
