Stopped in on a Friday night and it was surprisingly empty and quiet. We were the only ones there, but I think that's because a lot of the shops nearby close pretty early. We got half peach sorbet and half espresso. The peach sorbet was definitely my favorite. It had a really fresh peach flavor and was refreshing without being too sweet. The espresso was good too. You could taste the coffee, but as someone who loves espresso, I just wanted the flavor to be a little stronger. Service was quick and friendly. The guy working there was attentive and got us taken care of without any issues. Overall, it was a great spot for gelato. I would definitely come back, especially for the peach sorbet. read more

We came here and there was already a line waiting out the door. When we got to the front, there were a bunch of samples to choose from. Everything looked really good. I sampled the Panna Cotta and it was light, smooth, creamy, and sweet but not too sweet. I was very surprised actually at how much I liked it. I already had my two flavors in my mind, but I would definitely come back to try a scoop of that and an affogato. I got a scoop of Espresso and Tiramisu in a cup with a waffle cone on top. Both flavors were absolutely delicious. I loved the texture of the gelato, it was so creamy. Prices were a little steep, but the quality is undeniable. I'd definitely come back to try more of their flavors. Service was good, it was busy with just two of them there serving a bunch of families in line. But they were very helpful and pleasant. The straciatella is my favorite flavor gelato; (not too) sweet cream with streaks of bitterweet (dark?) chocolate throughout. Just enough chocolate taste to complement the gelato. I have also had a scoop of this affogato style (espresso shot poured over) and I will say their espresso is also delicious and freshly made to order. Yelp put this gelato shop on my radar when searching for dessert; oddly (and unusual), Google Maps could not direct us here accurately by car or foot (Maps kept showing us that the shop was somewhere behind the rear parking lot) ! Thankfully, a phone call to the shop made us realize we were steps away! The interior is inviting with the selection of flavors and attractive display of gelatos. We thoroughly enjoyed our selections: smooth, creamy, flavorful, and so comforting and satisfying! A cute little gelato shop in Palm Desert! We came on a weekday in the late afternoon and was able to find street parking, but I can imagine it being tough to find parking on a weekend or busy night. Upon entering the store, we were greeted by a case of delicious looking cakes including red velvet, carrot cake and tiramisu, but I ultimately decided to get their gelato with 3 flavors ($10.50). With it being the holiday season, I loved how they had seasonal flavors like "sugar cookie" and "peppermint bark" so I knew I had to get those two along with one of my go-to gelato flavors of raspberry sorbet. The raspberry sorbet was tart and while good, it was my least favorite of the three. The peppermint bark was my definite favorite as it had a perfect balance of chocolate and peppermint and I loved all the chunks of chocolate within the gelato. On our last full day in Palm Springs, we wanted ice cream and instead found this fairly new gelato & cake shop in the El Paseo shopping center. The inside is super polished with the gelato and cakes front and center. While there's no indoor seating, a couple tables are right outside the shop. We pondered for a couple minutes over the case of flavors before each ordering two scoops for $8.25. One scoop is $7, so might as well get two! Sadly, they were out of the Tiramisu flavor, but there was plenty of others to choose from. We came to find out that it was the owner who was helping us at the counter. Through casual conversation, we learned that he and his wife took up training before opening this shop several months ago. If I'm remembering correctly, they make the gelato themselves using equipment from Italy, and their dedication really shows. + PISTACHIO: I was shocked at how natural this one tasted. It wasn't artificially sweet like pistachio ice creams from the store. It had a nice nuttiness and I even found a couple whole pistachios in my scoop. The flavor was on the milder side, but it was delicious. + ESPRESSO: A must for anyone who loves coffee! The strength was perfect and tasted very robust. Little bean flecks were speckled throughout. Both flavors made for a wonderful combination, and I'd choose the Espresso if I could only select one. They were smooth, creamy, and just what we needed on a warm day. While enjoying our gelato outside, some people walked by and seemed turned off by the price. I agree, it's not cheap, but you don't find gelato like this just anywhere. This little shop opened about a year ago and I can see why it is doing so well! I walk by this beautifully styled place every day on my break and I love the smell of the waffle cones as I pass by. I recently dropped in to try a slice of the red velvet cake and a slice of the carrot cake to take home. THEY WERE AMAZING!!! Generous portion for a single slice that can easily be shared. I'm going to try their Coconut Cream next. I always see customers sitting outside eating the many flavors of their gelato but I have yet to try it.
