I heard they are super filling so I ordered the smallest size possible. For me, it was the perfect amount. The shake was ready super quick and I love how it came with a mini donut in the straw! The date on top was also super tasty. The donut was like a cake donut and I have to say, it was one of the best cake donuts I ever tried. It was super soft and sweet. Was the hype worth it? I think so! I get that people wait in line at night. It's nice to walk and enjoy the shake. If you come in the middle of a hot day, the shake melts too quickly. There were no open seats inside so I had to sit close to the store nextdoor and thankfully felt a wind from their AC. Otherwise I would have probably only been able to enjoy half the shake before the other half melted. All in all, if you are visiting, even if you are not a dessert person, I think you should try the date shake here. It was really good and very different from any other shakes I have had. I also really appreciate them offering non-dairy option for those of us who can't have it!
