Half order biscuits and gravy with coconut refresher
    Leanna W.

This is the fluffiest biscuit. I'm so glad I came for my little brunch snack on my walk. I got the half order of biscuits and gravy, it was perfectly seasoned with a little bit of spice and the biscuit was fluffy and perfect- I could eat 10. I got the coconut refresher, not too sweet and still had caffeine. They have topo Chico, my favorite sparkling water, so they got bonus points for that. They have a pastry window(?) that had a decadent looking, huge, slice of blueberry coffee cake and a cheesecake I would have tried if I was in the mood for sweets. I saw a couple enjoying it and letting the staff know the coffee was delicious. The tables are spacious, there were only around 6 people when I went and the atmosphere made it easy to ignore the other people and write this. But other "strangers" began conversations so it is still inviting. The music is acoustical versions of modern songs. I saw a staff cleaning the counters around the place while I ate so they definitely keep it clean. The gentleman who took my order was friendly and not overbearing. Overall perfect place to sit and read on my break from a gloomy day. Only note would be that I wanted my food for here and they made it to go.

Perfect little breakfast spot in town! We came by on a Saturday around 10 AM. Didn't have to wait too long in line. Just a warning if you want the cinnamon rolls I think you have to come early but we did manage to snag one seating is open and first come first serve, but they usually usually need to get some good options and it's fast casual. They have a great assortment on their coffee menu and lots of different breakfast items to try. I ended up getting their light Cortado type coffee and a breakfast biscuit which was delicious. Everything was super simple, but very effective and I thoroughly enjoyed it especially for the price. The cinnamon roll was definitely my favorite part and a very unique Experience. They've got a great lot outback for parking and a great place to make sure you stop by.

    Boring pretzel.

I went here for breakfast because I saw they had bagels. "Do you have poppy bagels?" "No." "Do you have sesame bagels?" "No." "Do you have plain bagels!" "No." "How is the pretzel?" "Excellent." Eats underwhelming pretzel. But the staff was very friendly and the place was clean.

What a lovely spot in downtown Bryson City. We went twice. The first time I had the trout dip plate. The trout is locally sourced and the dip was delicious. The accoutrements were perfect. My husband loved the coffee! The second time we went we got cinnamon rolls. They came out piping hot shortly after opening. Each day we went the service was great. We loved this spot and highly recommend!

A wonderful local spot right across the street from the Bryson train depot! My group loved it so much we went back every day (sometimes multiple times per day)! Definitely try the housemade horchata and the Charleston grits!

    Sweet potato bowl

This was a cute little stop while we were in town for the day. The breakfast was good! Service was great, seems like a family owned restaurant, a little girl was helping out and learning and it was the cutest! The only suggestion I have for the bowl is maybe either less sweet potatoes or make them more crispy? The chili that was on it was great and honestly should be offered as its own thing! Delicious. Overall really good! Would go back!

The Clingmans Dome - eating mountains for breakfast
    Jeanette C.

We visited Bryson City for my birthday and wanted to stop at La Dolce Vita Bakery & Coffeehouse for memories sake (stopped here before when we rode the steam train.) We ordered 2 Signature Lattes and the Clingmans Dome for breakfast. The Signature Lattes had some creative combinations...one being a liquid version of a pb&j...we decided on the Hazelcreek Blackwater and the Rainy Day Tuck. They were both really delicious and reminded me of Christmas. The Rainy Day Tuck reminded me of the chocolate orange candy I love to eat. The Clingmans Dome was basically eating a mountain for breakfast. We ordered it with biscuits (choice of bagel or biscuits) for a fancy take on sausage, gravy & biscuits. This was enough food for me and my husband. The biscuits were topped with gravy, pimento cheese, an over easy egg, bacon bits, diced tomato/jalapeños, cilantro, and pickled onions. The town was a little dead this morning, so we ate breakfast quietly and enjoyed the great music playing in the shop. The service was excellent and the barista explained the various flavors of the Signature Latte menu for me. We will definitely visit again. Hopefully before a train ride!

We love this place! We get breakfast here every time we are in Bryson City! Everything is delicious.

Loaded grits. That pimento cheese truly makes the dish!

I have been ordering whole beans from Pisgah Roasters for about 5 years- they are the GOLD STANDARD…read moreof coffees- what I compare anything else to-- and just fyi- everything else I've tried doesn't even come close!! So of course, since I'm in the area on vacation, I'm going there are much as possible! The place is quiet and unassuming- looks like a warehouse... Until you step inside and that smell of deliciousness hits you right in the face, soooo good!! In the past week, I have tried all of the specialty drinks on the menu- the Hot Tamale was especially surprisingly delightful- not too much spice, just a nice warmth. The Cold Mountain was also amazing, to me, it was the perfect iced coffee. The special this week was the Iced Coconut- it actually really tasted like coconut! My husband tried the drip and pour over- he's a black coffee drinker and loved them both- he loved that you can select different beans to try. I also purchased a 5 pound bag of my favorite bean- the Parkway Pick Me Up. Also love the Squirrely Blend. We also got the smaller 12oz bags to try a few different flavors when we get home. This place is the best. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

Hands down, the best coffee (you know when a coffee is good if it tastes great black) and excellent customer service.
