Great little cafe to get healthy meals. They were out of the cinnamon rolls by the time we rolled in- 11am ish. We had a lovely brunch though. The bagels were very different from any we have had before, had a very home baked bread taste. The sweet potato bowl was very flavorful and hit just the right note for lunch. We did get a couple baked goods to go as well. The coffee was pretty good, they have tons of flavors to choose from and make some signature drinks too. During our Fourth of July trip to Bryson City, we always try to support local coffee shops instead of the big chains, so we stopped into La Dolce Vita Bakery for breakfast and coffee. The shop itself is adorable, clean, and had a steady flow of customers. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I ordered an iced dirty chai latte, which is my go-to whenever I'm trying a new coffee shop because it's a pretty reliable way to compare places. It was good, and exactly what I was hoping for. I also tried the cinnamon roll. It was tasty, but pretty standard. Looking back, I think I'd try one of their other bakery items next time. My friend ordered one of their homemade biscuits. It took quite a while to come out--around 15 to 20 minutes--and several other customers were served before we received it. It honestly felt like the biscuit may have been forgotten, which was a little disappointing. Overall, though, we had a pleasant experience. Nothing was overpriced, the staff was kind, and it's the type of local place I always encourage travelers to support. While there are a couple of other coffee shops in Bryson City I'd probably try before returning, I still think La Dolce Vita Bakery is worth a visit so you can form your own opinion. Every café has busy days, and one experience doesn't define a business. A cute little coffee shop in Bryson City. They have a neat painting of the world on the wall that I really liked. Service was great. The barista created us right away and let us know there were menus on the counter to look at. Ordering was quick and we reviewed our drinks rather quickly. This is the fluffiest biscuit. I'm so glad I came for my little brunch snack on my walk. I got the half order of biscuits and gravy, it was perfectly seasoned with a little bit of spice and the biscuit was fluffy and perfect- I could eat 10. I got the coconut refresher, not too sweet and still had caffeine. They have topo Chico, my favorite sparkling water, so they got bonus points for that. They have a pastry window(?) that had a decadent looking, huge, slice of blueberry coffee cake and a cheesecake I would have tried if I was in the mood for sweets. I saw a couple enjoying it and letting the staff know the coffee was delicious. The tables are spacious, there were only around 6 people when I went and the atmosphere made it easy to ignore the other people and write this. But other "strangers" began conversations so it is still inviting. The music is acoustical versions of modern songs. I saw a staff cleaning the counters around the place while I ate so they definitely keep it clean. The gentleman who took my order was friendly and not overbearing. Perfect little breakfast spot in town! We came by on a Saturday around 10 AM. Didn't have to wait too long in line. Just a warning if you want the cinnamon rolls I think you have to come early but we did manage to snag one seating is open and first come first serve, but they usually usually need to get some good options and it's fast casual. They have a great assortment on their coffee menu and lots of different breakfast items to try. I ended up getting their light Cortado type coffee and a breakfast biscuit which was delicious. Everything was super simple, but very effective and I thoroughly enjoyed it especially for the price. The cinnamon roll was definitely my favorite part and a very unique Experience. We visited Bryson City for my birthday and wanted to stop at La Dolce Vita Bakery & Coffeehouse for memories sake (stopped here before when we rode the steam train.) We ordered 2 Signature Lattes and the Clingmans Dome for breakfast. The Signature Lattes had some creative combinations...one being a liquid version of a pb&j...we decided on the Hazelcreek Blackwater and the Rainy Day Tuck. They were both really delicious and reminded me of Christmas. The Rainy Day Tuck reminded me of the chocolate orange candy I love to eat. The Clingmans Dome was basically eating a mountain for breakfast. We ordered it with biscuits (choice of bagel or biscuits) for a fancy take on sausage, gravy & biscuits. This was enough food for me and my husband. The biscuits were topped with gravy, pimento cheese, an over easy egg, bacon bits, diced tomato/jalapeños, cilantro, and pickled onions. The town was a little dead this morning, so we ate breakfast quietly and enjoyed the great music playing in the shop. The service was excellent and the barista explained the various flavors of the Signature Latte menu for me. We will definitely visit again. Hopefully before a train ride! read more

Officially recommend the lemon Bundt cake as well as the mocha frapp (strong and yummy), and frozen desert ice creams. (Yes, the kids has desert at 10am. ) The fruit smoothie was an average smoothie, nothing to write home about but it did the job. The staff is friendly and the environment is warm and calm but that was really the only part of the experience I enjoyed. I ordered the Tsail Trail Mix iced latte and a Chicken Fiesta Wrap all to go. The price was pretty steep I felt for both the size of my drink and the contents of my order, which was made more apparent when I got back to our cabin rental and realized they didn't include any chicken in my wrap. So, how's the coffee? You ask. Manhattan Karen will keep driving to Charlotte, but, for most of the coffee cognoscienti, er, the hopelessly caffeinated, it will qualify as pretty good espresso. Baristas are the usual teen-bean-chained-to-a-machine crew. These kids, though, have been well trained on the equipment, without the heaping dose of smug that earning your barista bonafides can cause, as a side effect of brewing world knowledge. The baked goods? Presentation, in the glass domes, is a 10. Reminds me of a great bakery in Berlin. Actual baked goods? About average. Certainly good enough to get a cup of coffee with, but, at least based on what we tried, not remarkable. Street parking. They follow a good COVID regimen, social distancing tables, but the couches are a vital playground and should probably take a holiday. read more

Cannot emphasis how much I adore this bakery. The BEST cinnamon roll I've ever had (was iffy since no icing but you 100% do not need it). Food was great (I think biscuits are made in house), and presentation is top tier. I highly recommend their banana iced coffee, I had to go back for one more before we left this great little town.
