This is a great spot. I really appreciate that they offer organic coffee since regular coffee is full of pesticides. It's one of the few coffee shops in Maggie Valley - as you can imagine, selection is limited. The drive through was painful, so the car behind left as a result. It took awhile, def. longer than it would if you went to Starbs. This was the biggest downside - we still appreciated the 3 hardworking employees who tried to get everything out as fast as possible. Their Lattes have increased in price over time. Is it tasty? Yes! Did I add my remaining McDonald's coffee to it to make it stronger since they added a lot of steamed milk? Yes! Is it blasphemy? I dunno but it tasted better after! Their Caramel Macchiato was sweet after requesting 2 pumps of syrup compared to traditional 4 pumps. My dad got a cold brew and mom went with their decaf. coffee. Service is great, the owners work behind the bar regularly and are incredibly kind and welcoming. The coffee is stellar and always made perfectly to order. I've tried all sorts of their iced latte flavors, and their iced matcha is really well made, too! (Coming from someone picky on matcha.) they also have a drive thru, which is excellent if you have littles and need a quick stop. I totally recommend supporting this awesome local business over a chain coffee shop. The inside seating is very cute and cozy, with couches and nice decor. but, as a busy mama, you'll usually find me in the drive through! My latte was fantastic. My husband said his was fabulous. But 8$ for a large? At prices like that, I have a hard time enjoying a drink I'd pay 5$ for anywhere else, including NYC and SF. This is Maggie Valley and it's a somewhat standard location...I about fell over when she gave me my total. I've had fantastic 5$ lattes, so it isn't as though I'll eschew quality to save, literally, a few bucks. Can't imagine ever returning at that rate for a drink. read more

We were greeted at the window with a cheerful welcome, and then invited inside because it was our first visit. We were met with local artisan works and hiking maps. And even more friendly service! The staff was so friendly and helpful. We looked over the baked goods and coffee choices, while receiving answers to any questions we had. My family had the good fortune of stopping by Organic Beans Coffee to pick up some some lattes and some beans to use while on vacation. When they heard we were from out of town, and needed advice on what to see while in the area, they offered many child-friendly suggestions that would be great for a family of 8. They didn't just tell us, but they took the time to show us on a map where to park, and what we'd see when we got there. They definitely went above and beyond. There wasn't much of a selection in terms of pastries and snacks, a few muffin flavors and apple turnovers, so it really is just a coffee shop and not a hybrid eatery. Such a quaint coffee shop. It was so cute inside and out and very clean. I love me a clean coffee shop! I was able to watch the cashier who was also a barista make our drinks. My local Maggie Valley accommodations had a great view but unreliable wireless and no broadband Internet so Yelp identified Organic Beans Coffee as a place for both connectivity and caffeine. Great coffee along with wonderful hospitality from Jan and Christine. A local resident also posted-up in Organic Beans as a virtual office so great minds must think alike. Pretty good coffee, but the ambiance is greatly lacking. The guys (owners?) seem to be moving on to other ventures, and the coffee shop feels half finished and empty. We were the only customers here, though one other gentleman came during the end of our stay. The business simply wasn't there, and for that reason the inventory and atmosphere was a bit awkward. Also, the prices were simply too high for me, though the coffee was of good quality.
