The surrounding area has plenty of Mexican restaurants but this Honduran restaurant brings Central American flavor to the table (pun intended!). The menu is pretty extensive and they serve pretty much all the traditional dishes from breakfast to dinner (they're open 6AM to 9PM). Some dishes are only available certain days of the week, so be sure to ask if your pick is available when you visit. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and brought menus right away. Mr. Marvin, who is the owner's husband, took our drink order and even brought us a little appetizer on the house (tostones with pico de gallo). As an appetizer, we had "pastelitos," which are akin to beef empanadas. Pastelitos (3x order) are deep fried and filled with diced potato and ground beef. They are served with slaw and a side of salsa. Delicious. For our entrees we had the Bandeja Paisa (a platter of various Colombian dishes including chicharrón (pork rind/crackling), chorizo, rice, beans, avocado, and plantain. This is the way to go if you're hungry. We also had the enchiladas (2x order), which are essentially a fried tortilla with ground beef topped with slaw, a tomato slice, hard boiled egg, and grated cheese. They are large, so two enchiladas is plenty. Very authentic and with plenty of flavor. So good! The restaurant offers fresh natural juices and soft drinks. They also have a number of Honduran desserts (check out the "Others" part of the menu) and, on the other side of the restaurant, they also sells smoothies, crepes, waffles, and snack food (sisters business called Chile Mango). The restaurant's ambiance is very lively, staff is friendly and attentive, and food came out quickly. We can't wait to return for breakfast and definitely plan on being regulars!!

The beautiful artwork featuring local women of color from Colombia adds a great cultural touch, and there's plenty of parking. I ordered the Papas Rellenas (picadillo-stuffed potato fritters), which were really big, dense, and satisfying for $5. I also got the bandeja paisa (with kidney beans, steak, fried egg, pork belly, etc.), knowing it would take about 20 minutes on a Monday at 10:45 a.m. That wait felt outrageous, though--only about 10 people were in a space that could easily hold 100. However, the pork belly and steak wasn't overcooked and very flavorful. Even the sausage bursted with flavor. The food was authentic and tasty, but the long wait is a dealbreaker for me unless I'm with a friend craving Latin food and have time to spare. I probably won't return on my own unless it's a weekend and I have time to kill.

We were a party of 6 and the table we wanted was dirty and had to tell one of the cleaners to help us clean. Cleaning can be slow overall but it's better than eating out. It's a decent size place and the lines can be long but a lot of people order out. We got our food after maybe 15 minutes and it was ok. The salad was fresh but everything else seemed to be missing something. Got a couple of desserts when we finished but it wasn't anything spectacular. Not sure that I will go back as it's pretty far from where I live and it just did not seem worth the ride for us.

1 Star is too much -- Very disappointing experience…read more We were really excited to try this restaurant because we were hoping for an authentic Argentinian dining experience. Unfortunately, it was nothing like what we expected, and the food was extremely disappointing. Then I found out the owner is Bolivian not even Argentinian. The chimichurri was red and had a very different taste than what we expected. The green hot sauce was basically like eating raw jalapeño--extremely overpowering. The mashed potatoes were watery and very salty, and the broccoli was literally sitting in so much water that almost half of the bowl was full of it. The rice tasted like microwave rice, and the French fries were just ordinary fries. The biggest disappointment was the meat. It was extremely fatty, chewy, and had almost no flavor. The chicken was overcooked and tasted like leftovers that had been reheated. For an Argentinian restaurant, the quality and preparation of the meat should be one of the highlights, but unfortunately, it was the complete opposite. Honestly, we could barely eat our food and ended up leaving most of it. What made the experience even worse was that, despite barely being able to eat the food, we were still charged half of the meal. The total bill was over $85, and that included $5 for a small cup of what tasted like microwave rice. Just in case the food looks half-empty in the pictures, we did put some of the food onto our plates to try it. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat it, so that's why some of the containers look partially empty. As someone who was genuinely looking forward to trying Argentinian food, this experience was incredibly disappointing. In my opinion, this restaurant does not represent the quality or flavors that people expect from Argentinian cuisine. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant, and I would not return.
