As parents, safety is always a top concern. The teachers send weekly photo updates, and if they ever notice even a small injury like a cut on the lip, they reach out immediately to check in. Yes, the driver is consistently late anywhere from 10 to 25 minutes. They won't tell you that they picked up your kid late either. Hey, I'm not paying you idiots to have my child bake in the hot sun or drenched in the cold rain while the driver makes his beer run! Don't let the generic website of TVA fool you, otherwise you will be surprised when you walk in on a school day. She was assessed at Huntington and we learned that she was a grade level or more behind on certain subjects. We knew that she needed additional support to get up to speed prior to the start of 6th grade. Mona provided a clear action plan to address my child's needs. We were provided a set number of hours that was an estimation of the time needed for my child to catch up to her grade level. We would meet up with Mona every 4-6 weeks to see the progress our daughter was making. We will see the scores our daughter achieved on different subjects. We would also discuss the focus of the upcoming weeks. The improvement was gradual in the beginning. Once my daughter got used to the process and routine, we saw dramatic improvement in her grades. Even her attitude towards learning has greatly improved! Mona mentioned that confidence on the subject matter is what really contributes to the success of a student. As my daughter gained more confidence in her work, we can clearly see that she began having a much more positive attitude about learning. We owe our daughter's success to Hunting Learning Center.
