Based on Yelp reviews I HAD to visit. It was a 40 min drive from Moreno Valley to San Bernardino. Nice morning drive. Parking was terrible. Small parking lot, with a huge, unavoidable pot hole smack dab in the middle of the entrance. My car is low so I parked across the street; didn't want to risk getting stuck or damaging my vehicle. Arrived at 8a on a Saturday. Was greeted happily by a fellow who was helpful and friendly. As that was my first time there, he welcomed me and made recommendations. My intention was to order 2 lbs chicharrones, breakfast burrito and breakfast torta. I was not disappointed. As I waited for the food to be prepared, I watched the ladies in the kitchen and was so impressed. I used to come here with my family but when I ordered some carne asada fries today I was greatly disappointed when I took my first bite only for all my food to be cold. I gave them the benefit of the doubt so I called and asked them if I can get it remade and they did remake it but I was confronted with a attitude just because I didn't want to have cold food. Now the second time they made it the fries were hot and warm as they should be but their asada and beans were cold as you can see in the picture absolutely no steam and it was flooded with sauce and bean residue that I had to throw my food in the oven. I shouldn't have to heat up food that should be warm. After being displeased I made sure to let them know how I felt about their service. When confronting them about my dissatisfaction the cashier and one of the cooks met me with a attitude while they pretended to not know what I was talking about, but I left it at that. I came in with expectations from a lot of reviews on IG and left with close to $80 of not what I expected. I ordered mixed carnitas and definitely did not get more than a taco's worth of it. What I ended up getting was a plate full of skin or cueros. The chicharron has good flavor and depending on your taste, this was a bit hard. I would definitely recommend. They ask if you want to buy an 8oz red or green salsa which red is what I ended up buying and it was more on the watery side with little flavor. Tapatio would probably be better in my opinion. I bought an of menudo for my pops and he said it has good flavor. In my opinion I suggest ordering just carnitas and not mixed or you will end up with tongue, skin, kidney. read more

If you like a crispy delicious chicharron then this is the spot. But we also got a carnitas torta, and for me this stole the show. Easily one of the better tortas I have had. Extremely delicious, my only complaint would have been slightly heavy on the mayo, bought I am not a big mayo fan.
