I don't know where the unfriendly lady (owner) went and don't care, but the people working there now are so friendly. I was there a few weeks ago buying fried whole tilapias and asked them not to leave them too crispy. They were very accommodating and cooked my tilapias to golden, juicy perfection. I have gone here for many years since I was a child, and all the times I have eaten here it was delicious. Never has been any problems whatsoever, the fish and octopus and shrimp have always been cooked great and taste great. Customer service is usually straightforward and what you want, we have always taken ours to go. The bagre / catfish here is delicious too and not a bad bang for your buck. Customer service needs to improve. First time here. I was in the mood for fish tacos. To my surprise $4 each and served on a small street taco tortilla. I've never had a fish taco served on a small street taco tortilla. The flavor was good. But the service. Omg! The lady at the register...gees! Get her out of there. As I waited another customer came placed her order the lady on register kept cutting her off. I dunno if she is the owner or not but ugh... I cringed the way she spoke back to the customer. I buy baby octopus is okay but when I bought dozen oyster. Oyster is no good at all. They have empty inside. My husband take back to store they told us open cook. Ive been coming here since 2012 and I feel like it has gotten worse since then. Over the years they do less and less. When I first started coming , I would get the fried fish and it would come with a side of corn tortillas, lemons and cups of House made Salsa. They stopped giving out tortillas and only giving Tapatio hot sauce instead of house made salsa. Then you had to start begging for hot sauce. And now they don't give it at all. Just the fish in a bag with nothing. Anyways, today my husband wanted to treat me to a fried fish , but when he came home and passed me the bag...I could feel that it was over cooked through the bag how hard it was. Mind you these fish are $10 and up. When I unwrapped the fish it felt like hard chicharon. Some soft pieces but mostly hard. So without eating it, I took my son back to get me one that wasn't as burnt. But they would tell my son, after he asked for a new one... " There's meat in the inside." My son said " Yes but it's also very hard on the outside that can't be eaten." They tell him, " Well I don't know what to do about that, we put it on the same timer we normally do." My son left without being able to get a new one.. mind you I've been eating here since 2012, as stated before, so I know when they cook it right. When gosh is cooked that hard, it's hard to tell the fish meat from the bones. I say all that to say this, all the years I've been going, today will be my last. These gosh are too expensive just to get the majority of the meat burnt. It's not worth it. I will now go to the Asian market further down the road. My cats will eat awesome night though.. so that's a plus. read more

This is my go-to taqueria. Definitely in the top three spots in SanB. The workers are always friendly, and the food is outstanding. Asada tacos? A staple. Baja fish tacos? Absolutely scrumptious. Ceviche is delicious and cheap! The interior has a comfortable old school vibe to it, tables are always clean and floor swept. I'm very critical in my reviews of places but I can honestly say I've never had any sort of negative experience here. If you're considering it, I guarantee it's worth a try. read more

A combination mini-market/fish market/restaurant... We decided to order a small array of plates and grabbed a table. A order at the counter type of place with very friendly service. We had shrimp tacos, available grilled or battered and fried - we chose fried, fish tacos, shrimp empanadas, shrimp ceviche with chips, and Jamaica to drink. Everything was fantastic. Best fish and shrimp tacos I've ever had. The empanadas were perfectly fried, flaky, and tasted like they were made by someone's loving grandmother. The ceviche was clean and perfect, available by the pound for a very reasonable price. We chose to go on a 100 degree day and it was slightly warm inside. Next time we may take it to go. But we will definitely have a craving for this again soon. Reasonable (actually quite reasonable) prices, lovely food. read more

The large campechana had about 4 scoops of seafood and octopus was super chewy and the tacos tasted bad. I will never go back.

Wry bad service for the price they charge should have came with a drink not even water but it says it on their sign almost $35 for two order not recommended. 2 fish tacos and a drink at other places will charge $9.89 to $12 at most but $15, and no drink ridiculous read more

Wobbly tables of a vintage 50's variety and a run down interior may run most off, but don't let that be you. Honestly I had my doubts until I sampled their fish tacos and chili lime octopus. I give this place 5 stars because the food is really good and the price is very reasonable. I love Mexican style seafood, but I don't like getting ripped off maybe paying 10+ for a ceviche tostada like some other restaurants that serve seafood. I believe it's only 3.25 and its loaded with shrimp. The fattest fish tacos for just 1.75 and 6.95 for the carne asada plate and my wife says it's really good I just get the shrimp al mojo or ranchera most times which is 7.95 for the plate. Plus we get the imported cokes and come out of there paying barely 20 dollars and we're sooo full. I Love this place I come here all the time. Oh I almost forgot Deep Fried Octopus with lime and chile powder. Crazy Bomb! This place will consistently get my business as long as I like seafood. read more

well lemme start by saying this place in kind of a hole in the wall...that being said, the food was great! had some fried octopus and shrimp tacos.... the octopus was well seasoned and fried just right. ( i'm sure you can ask them to fry them to your liking) and the shrimp tacos were very good, loaded with shrimp and a great price. the only thing i didn't like was that the salsa they gave me with them was ehhh.. kinda flavorless, i think its just their way of preserving the great taste of the tacos themselves (jk) but yes i will most definitely going to this place again read more
