This is my go-to taqueria. Definitely in the top three spots in SanB. The workers are always friendly, and the food is outstanding. Asada tacos? A staple. Baja fish tacos? Absolutely scrumptious. Ceviche is delicious and cheap! The interior has a comfortable old school vibe to it, tables are always clean and floor swept. I'm very critical in my reviews of places but I can honestly say I've never had any sort of negative experience here. If you're considering it, I guarantee it's worth a try.

The large campechana had about 4 scoops of seafood and octopus was super chewy and the tacos tasted bad. I will never go back.

We came to eat here for the first time. The cóctel de camarón is good & botana de pulpo dorado. Prices are good.

The ceviche was clean and perfect, available by the pound for a very reasonable price.

Everything was flavorful and cooked just right. Everything tasted homemade and the cake was a nice touch to finish. Great for feeding a group without breaking the bank. We'll definitely be back.

My introduction to this spot was... memorable. There were a lot of people hanging around outside, and a guy in a Corvette was blasting 90s hip hop like he was headlining Summer Jam. Great soundtrack, questionable volume, and not exactly the ambience I associate with fried fish. Inside, things were calmer. The line was short (a win), and they actually had more fish options available than the Highland location. That said, the Highland fish usually looks fresher. Prices were the same, and I appreciated the posted seasoning levels, especially since I've had to ask the Highland location to tone down the salt before. My order was simple: catfish nuggets for the kids, whiting, frog legs, and fries. Food came out hot in about 15 minutes. The fish was okay overall... a little over-fried, like it stayed in the oil just long enough to develop trust issues. The fries were forgettable, and the frog legs were dry, which hurt my feelings more than I expected. Even the tartar sauce tasted a little off compared to the other location. In the end, nothing was terrible, but nothing beat the Highland spot for me. Between the parking‑lot concert outside and the underwhelming food inside, I think I'll stick with the Highland location since it's the one I'm most familiar with and consistently enjoy. Not a bad experience, just not my preferred Captain Moe's. Overstimulated outside, underwhelmed inside, and reminded that sometimes the location you already know is the safest bet.

Shout out to Jacob from the meat department!…read more Was trying a new recipe that required bone in pork chops and for them to be at least/about an inch thick. I had some ordered from Stater Brothers but they were still thin. So I stopped by here to see if they had thicker ones, or if I could get them cut. Jacob helped me and he was the best!!! Asked questions on what I was making and how and seasonings. I was open to his recommendations on what cut, as I don't ever make pork chops. First, when I got them from him and saw the size, I KNEW they were going to be delicious. Second, he chose a center cut and something else (that I should have written down) that pretty much... these are the best of the best cut/type. And let me tell you? They were! I am going back later this week to double up what I buy to make this for some family. The meal came out delicious!
