I've visited twice as a quick stop for my quarterly pupusa mission. The staff are friendly and offer helpful suggestions. I ordered four chicken-spinach and chicken-potato (for dinner and the next day's lunch). They are reasonably priced ~$4.99, considering each pupusa has ample ingredients. They were fresh and delicious, without being overbearing with cheese. The pair for lunch were great and I even shared with a few of my students who kept spying the food with saucer eyes. (They approved!) The restaurant had several patrons. Note that street parking can be limited.

If you love flavorful food this is the place to be. Excellent service! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food is impeccable! The vibes are very relaxed and family oriented. They have fresh bakery options for after a hearty meal! The only thing to be mindful of is parking is rather hard to find especially if you come on a weekend. Your best bet is to park in the neighborhoods and walk over. I am a huge lover of any type of Latin foods and this place will not disappoint! You will come back to taste it again! I saw this place on a random instagram reel and thought why not? And I'm sure glad I chose to come! Give them a visit!

Best Pupusa's in Long Beach!!! I loved the curtido, it was a little spicy but the flavor was amazing!

I've only eaten 2 x at the restaurant and ordered for pick up a few times, so this was my 3rd sit in. And I usually love the food they serve from the mini tortillas with black beans to the traditional pupusas and central American breakfast dishes. I was craving a non traditional pupusa, so I went with a shrimp and cheese, ordered a tamarindo drink to go along with it, very good freshly made, the best I've had in a long time! And although the pupusa was tasty, cheesy and a good size bcs it's $6.99, I realized that it was bay shrimp, so I was disappointed, what made it worse is that sadly, the shrimp wasn't deveined...didn't expect this quality. Bummed. Quality vs quantity, suggestion, maybe get 3 bigger shrimp and chop it up and lil pieces will be mixed with cheese or at least clean up the bay shrimp.

Empty restaurant.... And they take forever to get you a easy quick order.

This place is the last place I will ever come for a to go order! I only ordered 4 pupusas and waited for about 30 minutes. Naaaahhh I don't have time especially when this place had only one table of 5 guest... Don't come if you need good service...

Everything here is always so yummy! Today I had the Chicken Pepian and it did not disappoint! So flavorful and the chicken and vegetables were cooked to perfection. Chicken was tender and moist and the vegetables were the perfect balance of soft and fresh. When I picked up my takeout I also grabbed a fresh baked blueberry muffin for breakfast (forgot to take pic before I started eating). Luckily I live down the street so I've had lots of their pupusas as well as the cream chicken!!!!! Everything is always made with love and delicious. Service is always great too. Love this neighborhood gem

Delicious Salvadoran food items! Customer service was wonderful, and the restaurant was spacious and comfortable. Their pupusas were decent sizes, and their horchata was homemade! Can't wait to visit again

Wow I wish I knew about this place sooner! The food is so delicious and the service is the best. Came here for breakfast and the portion sizing for the prices were 100% worth it. The food was so flavorful and everything was made FRESH. You can really taste the quality and care in the food. The tamales were the perfect texture, my mouth is watering looking back at these pictures. The ambiance was warm and made me feel transported to El Salvador. I seriously can't wait to come back. I've only visited once and now I love this place. As we were leaving they gave us a huge slice of complimentary chocolate leche flan, so delicious. There's parking in the back of the building. 5 stars in everything category and I don't say this lightly so definitely check it out!

After today's visit, I felt it was finally time to leave a review because this restaurant deserves all the recognition it can get. The food is consistently incredible and always tastes freshly made. My personal favorite is the pan con chicken sandwich it's absolutely delicious every single time. And no family visit is complete without ordering a platter of about 10 pupusas to share. They're perfectly made, flavorful, and always leave us looking forward to our next visit. The service is just as outstanding as the food. Everyone is genuinely friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making you feel like part of the family from the moment you walk in. Restaurants like this are becoming harder to find. They consistently deliver amazing food, exceptional service, and a warm atmosphere that keeps people coming back. If you're looking for authentic Salvadoran food in Long Beach, this is the place. ¡Olé, olé, olé, olé... olé... olé!…read more If you're looking for the perfect place to watch a soccer match, this is it. We came for the Mexico vs. Korea game and the energy inside was electric. The crowd, the excitement, and the overall atmosphere made it such a fun viewing party. The DJ really helped elevate the experience and kept the energy going all game long. It truly felt like the place to be for soccer fans. Food-wise, I definitely recommend the chicken quesadilla. Also, the mojitos downstairs were excellent--super refreshing and worth trying! Just note they weren't available at the viewing party on the 3rd floor. Overall, such a great spot for a game-day experience. We'll definitely be back, and next time we want to try more from the full restaurant menu.

If you want good paella, do not come here…read more This was honestly the worst paella I've ever had, which was really disappointing because the restaurant itself had a nice atmosphere and live music. We ordered a half seafood and half meat paella, with added lobster and pork belly. Unfortunately, the actual food was terrible. Main issues: * The bottom of the seafood side was completely black and burnt instead of having a crispy socarrat. There's a huge difference between crispy rice and burnt rice. * The lobster was severely overcooked, burnt, and tasted terrible. * The pork belly was an extra charge, but there was barely any visible pork belly in the dish. It honestly just looked like tiny bacon pieces. * All of the meat throughout the paella was severely overcooked. Positives: * Our waiter was very nice. * The ambiance was good. * The live music added a fun vibe. * It was my birthday, so they gave me a complimentary ice cream dessert at the end, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, none of that made up for how bad the paella itself was.
