Refused combat veteran and his service dog entry. Food is garbage as well. Half a mile up the road is better service and food. Keep driving.

Great place to eat. Good service. We eat lunch here at least 1-2 x per month. Taco salad is great and the fajitas are amazing.

Great Mexican food. Service is always great. Prices are reasonable and the chips and sauce are just added pleasure!

Health Department inspection score 75. Eat there at your own risk! Saw the score on the local news restaurant report card.

Best Mexican restaurant in Soddy-Daisy. Granted, there aren't that many. Large menu, margaritas, and 32 oz. drafts.

This was a great find during our stay in Dunlap!…read more This place had a good sized crowed on Friday evening & the food was good. They have everything here from tortas, carne asada tacos, and tex mex. We tried: Horchata - good! Lots of spices, like a chai tea. Choriqueso - good flavor, tons of chorizo & pickled jalapenos. Only wish it were thicker. Chimichanga supreme - 4 chimichanga of different meats including shrimp, ground beef, steak and chicken. Chicken was my favorite but they were all good. The shrimp was strange as a chimichanga because it's whole shrimp so you kinda end up eating the tortilla separate because they come out so easily. Burrito ranchero - there was a ton in here. It was enough for 2 on its own! There's rice, steak, onions, peppers and beans. So filling but it was good! Good choice if you're in town We ended up having lunch the next day as the portions are huge here. Plus we had a large dos Equis & large horchata so ended up being a ton of food. There's plenty of parking in their lot and the staff were all great. You pay at the register when you're done but our server checked on us regularly the entire time.

Parking is the least favorable at times but never had a major issue finding a parking spot…read more Customer service is great, and always gets our orders correct. Restaurant is beautifully decorated and very clean, along with the restrooms. Music isn't too loud and always has room or makes room for 7+ customer tables. We always feel welcomed as appreciated as a customer. Our family enjoys Taqueria La Rancherita and will continue coming back!

My server thought the shrimp quesadilla was served with pico. Nope, tomato slice. In order to get pico, I was charged for a side, at $2.95. Seems high, but the rest of the items seem reasonably priced. My husband got the Arroz con Pollo, which was served in a bowl already mixed together. He thought it was great! Would have thought tortillas came with his dish, but we were charged for a side of them. Salsa verde is amazing and will get your head sweating. We also had the margarita (?) dip. Ground beef, beans, cheese, yummmmmmm. While we were there, between 1:30-2:45, lots of late lunchers were coming and going. Also, at least two Latino groups, which typically is high praise for whichever ethnic restaurant you've chosen, to have actually eating their native food there. All in all, great food, servers were friendly and attentive, and husband was happy.

Ordered a Nacho Supreme. With the 3rd bite I encountered a mushy paste that tasted faintly like…read morebeef. I asked the server about it and was told they grind their own meat. I told him I didn't like it and asked why they would grind it so finely. He shrugged and walked away. This was something I couldn't eat, it was like canned dog food pate. When he finally came around again, I asked if I could pay for the drink and have the nacho taken off the bill. He said he couldn't. I pointed to the plate, which was still virtually full, telling him that I had only taken 3 bites and didn't want it. After discussing this with him several times, he brought me the bill - no deduction. I now discovered that the 3 tablespoons of cheese dip that was brought out was billed at $5.50. Were they serious? I went in and asked the manager. He flat out refused to remove any amount from the bill. I offered to pay for the dip and drink - all he would do was repeat the total. No apology for the food, no discussion. This was the second time I have been here since it changed hands. It used to be pleasant and had good food. No more. The first visit, the food made me sick. I had not gone back until now, maybe a year later. It was also ready annoying to have to deal with a drunk on the patio. When he finally figured out I wasn't interested in chatting, he turned the music up so loud that conversation with the person next to me was impossible . I asked the server if it could be turned back down - he did nothing. Will NEVER return. No one should be forced to pay for mystery meat.
