We stopped by when detoured during a road trip. I ordered a Lunch Special #4 (chile relleno & taco) and I requested a side of avocado. Only the taco was delivered. I asked for the chile relleno and the server brought me a burrito and told me that the lunch special #4 was a burrito. After we finished our lunch (which did not include me eating the burrito), the avocado arrived. When I went to pay, I showed the server that the #5 included a burrito. She argued with me that I had ordered a different #4 (not true). There was no other 4 and, again, I received the 5!!! I also pointed out that the avocado came too late to eat. $35 for our lunch and I only ate half a soft chicken taco. Seems spendy! We won't be back if we're ever detoured here again. read more

I saw another customer eating the shrimp soup awhile back and it looked so good, I had to try it on a later visit! Just WOW! It's a bit of a wait (15-20 mins). They devein the whole shrimp and boil shrimp (and heads I expect) in a tomato based broth. The whole shrimp in shell are in the soup minus the heads. The broth is incredible! There are a lot of fresh vegetables in the soup along with about 20 good sized shrimp. Rice, avocado, chop onion, cilantro, and lime are served on the side. Great attention to detail on this dish! It is so delicious and healing on a cold day! The only thing I hadn't anticipated was peeling shrimp. I made a mess....but oh, it was worth it! We walked in and we were able to sit outside. Very good atmosphere, and a variety of Mexican foods. We ordered our drinks, and when we got them, they seemed to be different from what we ordered, but it was still good. We then got food, and it took only 10 minutes, for 7 people! We went here while in town. It's our granddaughter's favorite restaurant. They were really busy on a Friday night, but we were seated pretty quickly. Staff were really busy, but fairly attentive considering how busy they were. I ordered the Pollo Asado and my husband the Pollo Loco. I don't think I got what I ordered (I think it was Pollo Loco because it didn't have onions or mushrooms), but it was good. The salsa was satisfactory and the queso tasted fine, though it was a little thinner than what I am accustomed to at home. The prices were reasonable. If we were in town, we'd go again. There are more than a few Tex-Mex restaurants in Cleveland, TN. They all offer similar menu items for similar prices, so choosing which is your favorite ultimately comes down to personal preference. My friend said that Tres Hermanos was his favorite so we went one night for dinner. I ordered the Pollo Loco because my friend said it was the best in town. They had a beer special on Friday night and in typical Tex-Mex style, the food was ready super fast. The Pollo Loco was okay, not the best I've ever had, not the worst. The restaurant itself had a fun atmosphere and was a busy place, which is a good sign. This is one of the better Mexican restaurants in Cleveland but not for the salsa. More tomato sauce with little added. Warm chips are a plus but if your Usero more spice you will need to get it by ordering something off the menu. Typical menu and of the many times I have visited everything has been good to great. Inside decor give the feel of Mexico and adds to the experience. They have three different dinning rooms and expand and more customers come in. If it's cold outside make sure you ask to be seated away from the main doors. The breeze effects anyone within a few booths left and right. If cold natured ask for one of the side rooms. On sunny warm days they now have a nice patio with new awning overhead and a TV mounted. It's very nice to sit out on those 70-85 degree days. Service has always been very friendly and great. Drove up to their drive thru 20 minutes before closing time and nobody would come to the window so I parked and went inside only to be told the grill was closed. I wish I could give them 4.5 stars. We ate there today and all four of us really liked our meals. I had the tilapia covered with chipotle cream dish and it was great. We came back to this restaurant again on 2/15/15. The food was still as good as the last time we were here. My wife again had the #8 Combination meal and I had the #6 Combination meal. The #6 is an Beef Enchilada, Mexican Rice & Beans with a Beef Taco on a separate plate. We also ordered some Cheese Sauce to go with our chips as the appetizer. Again, everything was delicious. How many ways can you serve hamburger meat? This is lazy cooking. Serving garbage recipes hoping the person ordering it won't know the difference. This doesn't even qualify as Tex mex Chili relleno: this should be amazing. Not here. Hamburger meat with a piece of Poblano pepper draped over it. There is a part of me that thinks they boiled the Pablano. It sure didn't taste roasted!!! Taco: store bought shell with hamburger meat and lettuce. Tostado: hamburger meat with lettuce on a flat store bought shell. There is nothing here that can't be gotten at Taco Bell. Except Taco Bell has better salsa. Never ever spend your hard earned money to eat here!!!!!!! I am a retired military combat service veteran and I was there with my service dog. My dog and I were seated by the hostess. She promptly went and got the owner and he demanded paperwork to prove she was a service dog. As it's not legally required to have any, I was unable to produce any. He promptly told me and the party I was with we had to leave. We tried to explain the legal requirement and he would not listen, just insisted we There is no legitimate service dog certification or registration in the United States. Some programs will certify the dogs they train and test, and some do not. Those certificates are the only ones that actually mean anything, and they only mean anything if you have to go to court and prove your dog is trained. They are not required, they are merely useful documentation for the dog's training, which could be substantiated by other means. You don't need them for public access, or housing, or flying, or anything else. All other certificates, registration, and ID is fake. The intent is to fool the public into thinking the dog is official, when there is no official documentation for service dogs. Most often, these products are used by fakers, so when you see them, it is a screaming red flag that the dog is not a legitimate service dog. read more

Not sure how to rate this one. Looking for vegetarian and vegan options in Cleveland and we liked the name, so what the hell. Service was very good. Atmosphere was middle of the road. All fine. We were quickly brought chips and salsa. And I am used to real chips and real salsa. The salsa here was more something in between ketchup and cocktail sauce. Kind of interesting. But not really a salsa. Keep in mind.. I grew up next to the border in San Diego (I walked to Mexico) so I am biased. We ordered the veggie burrito and the veggie enchilada. We asked to not have cheese on these, which was not a problem. We also ordered a bean and cheese burrito to go for the MIL.I was surprised to see cheese melted over the burrito as compared to being mixed in the beans. Later she reported it was not very good. But she also likes Taco Bell a lot. So who knows? The veggie stuff was great. Very smoky and tasty flavored onions, green peppers. We liked the enchilada more as the corn tortilla stands up better than the flour used in the burrito. The flour was getting soggy so turning into more of a paste. Still tasty though. The guacamole also was like the salsa.. sort of a green sauce... not really guac like I am used to with chunks of avocado, onion and tomato.
