First time here and alive heard really good things about their tacos. And boy, they did not miss. I would just skip everything and get the tacos lol. Even though this was my first time, I would def try other stuff along with ordering the tacos. We tried the beef empanadas and the street corn, def could skip these. My favorite was the special taco they had with 3 different types of meat, one of them was steak. That and the chorizo were the best. I would not order the brisket again because it was simply dry and salty. Although our food took awhile to come out, I still enjoyed what I had and would recommend this spot. read more

Discovered this gem this summer. We have ordered take-out from here twice during the past month (picking up, not getting delivered). If you want, bring some wine or beer and dine in. The ambiance is festive, like a trip to Mexico. Guacamole is very tasty. We have also had entrees like shrimp burritos, (4)taco plater with shrimp and fish tacos, mariscos con arroz, and fajitas. la fogata is a hidden spot but I'm glad we found it. The tacos were amazing and the sauce was super spicy (red one) the green sauce was marvelous not to spicy but creamy. I would suggest the red one if you can't take the heat. I thought I was dreaming with how spicy it was! The guacamole was super delicious I would suggest just adding more salt because the lime overpowers the whole guacamole other than that it was amazing the pineapple fresh water was fantastic it was a very creamy taste it was almost like a virgin piña colada. Love this new restaurant in Bradley Beach! We never had Colombian food before, but La Fogata Ideal treated us like family the moment we walked through the door. Excellent service, delicious food, and a great ambience make this restaurant a must try. It was also extremely COVID conscious. We got beef empanadas, wings, salmon a lo macho, and a beef taco platter. Best empanadas we've ever had, super fresh with a super tasty herb sauce! The salmon dish was amazingly flavorful and filled with all different types of fresh seafood like mussels, clams, crabs, calamari, and shrimp, as well a these delicious fried mashed plantains. Tacos were extremely tasty and the beef was very tender. It's BYOB so we brought some cervezas from the liquor store next door. Will definitely be back! read more

I have to say I've never been too big on Latin cuisine, but wow. The flavors in everything are out of this world. There are so many different things you can taste at once when you bite into anything. From the guac to the little side of sauces that came with my tacos. Unreal. The service is seriously something other places should take lessons on. They are so unbelievably tentative to your needs. Best in the area. Hands down. You can find more upscale, you can find fancier/finer, but you will not find more delicious than La Fogata. We've stopped trying anyplace else. I drove past and saw this this wonderful restaurant . I was on my way someplace else but decided to give it a try. I am so so glad I did! It was outstanding! I got the tacos- 4 come in an order. I tried 4 different kinds and each was more delicious and flavorful than the last. Even the rice and beans were great! The gentleman who helped me was super nice as well. We had takeout last night and it was delicious! The presentation, the amount of food but mostly the quality was all outstanding. We had chicken quesadillas, Burritos, beef nachos, and a Cubano sandwich .. and they gave us homemade Flan for dessert. Easter Brunch! 3 of us came for brunch and the food was off the hook! Sanitizer was available at every table, owner introduced himself which was really unexpected considering we as customers often patronize businesses and never know who the owner(s) are. Loved this new restaurant in Bradley Beach. All the food was delicious and fresh. We shared empanadas as an appetizer. These were so good and a nice size for an appetizer I had chicken enchiladas for my entree. All the ingredients tasted so fresh and a very nice portion. My husband had a chicken burrito. Huge. He could not stop raving about it so yummy. Staff was great. At the end of our dinner our waiter brought us these cookies freshly baked..OMG, they were amazing. We just had a great Latin dinner at La Fogata Ideal! Empanada was crispy and filled with flavor as was the Cauliflower app. Both came with great sauces too. Carnitas Burrito and Pastor Tacos for the entree did not disappoint. This is a great local joint trying to make it.
