The Shrimp Fajitas arrived sizzling hot and packed with flavor, featuring perfectly seasoned shrimp and fresh vegetables. The Shrimp Quesadilla, prepared fajita-style, combined those same bold flavors inside a crispy tortilla and was a standout dish. We saw a 1 star review on here complaining about their "delivery" meal and saying that they have been coming to 10th ave for years but THIS was the final straw... well where are all of the other reviews that kept you coming back for years?? We also have been coming to 10th ave for years and it's a favorite for the whole family. My wife and I have been coming since we were in college and now we bring our kids. Sure maybe the food has changed over the years and gotten a little more expensive but what hasn't? We love to come for some of their special nights like Quesadillas on Wednesdays or wings on Thursdays. Their "Baby Dilla" is an unbeatable deal for the kids, I think it is $4 for a small chicken and cheese quesadilla... and the staff is always super accommodating to our little ones! You know what you're getting at 10th ave, a cold beer, good wings, chill people, and a nice night out in Belmar we will keep coming back for years to come. Attended the Belmar San Jennaro Festival yesterday. Food vendors had ridiculously long lines. They need to figure out a MUCH better system, they lost lots of people annoyed about the lines. I was visiting my friends in NJ and we ordered delivery from here. The homemade chips were sooo good. Light and crispy, think of the shell of crab rangoons but a little saltier and lighter. So good. Totally mediocre burrito experience in a strip mall by the shore. Kind of funky decor. Rocker meets ghoulish meets Mexican wrestling. All hard surfaces inside so pretty effing loud. Strange sticky feeling on a lot of surfaces like humidity mixed with what happens when you use Lysol on paint. We were there on a Monday so got a 1/2 price burrito. Mine was blackened mahi. Nice fresh pineapple and spinach inside but no sauce so it was a dry mouthful. Thankfully it was 1/2 off but still over $9 Giant basket of chips available by paying. Flour chips were super oily. I have gone here for many years because the atmosphere and pricing of food was good. Service was typically good also. However, my friends and I have gotten food poisoning many times here. Half of the time we ate at 10th Ave, someone has gotten sick. We've gotten sick from the tacos, the quesadillas, and burritos. If you were to eat here, eat the wings. That a person with the same exact name as me picked up my $47 order and that they were making a completely new order. Now this is highly unlikely, because I have a very different name. Mr. Katz is a Grateful Dead fan but a chef at heart. The restaurant is a beehive of activity and offers a whole smorgasbord of delicious options with a terrific emphasis on freshness and flavors that stand above most anywhere else around. I have enjoyed the greatest nachos in New Jersey here, tacos that are perfect in size and proportion, and of course- enormous burritos that have to be eaten to be believed. Shoutout to the Mole sauce. A sweet, smoky, maroon wonder that will be the salvation to any in fear of the overly spicy. The bar here is also famous for their margaritas. Sugar or salt on the rim. I'm not normally a fan, but the strawberry ones with a sugar rim, really brings out the tequila's nice kick with each sip. The fact this restaurant sits near many other quality eateries and is always the most full speaks volumes. For those looking for a great time, I urge you to come here for a few hours. And get here as early as you can to avoid the crowds. Thankfully, they're close to a train station, so if you enjoy yourself a little too much- the greatest designated drivers of Monmouth County in NJ Transit can take you home. 10th Ave is a jewel in the crown of great food options on The Jersey Shore. This is a great summertime spot to do outside dining! Large outdoor space with mostly bench seating (my back does not love the bench seating, though). Food and drinks are served quickly. They have a nice seafood selection - we had oysters for the table and they were very good. I had the steakhouse burrito (no rice, potatoes instead) and it was fine. It had sautéed onion in it and when you took a bite the onions would pull out and it would just be a big bite of onions. Haven't been here for 5 years now. It's always packed during the summer months. We happened to be in town on a Thursday. We walked right in and were seated. The margaritas are generous sizes for the price. They tasted fine! The OG taco was delicious but if you don't like too spicy keep the salsa. For a Friday night, the wait wasn't long at all. We checked in and was told it's a 20 mins wait so we went to the bar to get some mojitos. I did instantly regret ordering this because it tastes like straight vodka with seltzer water and a crap ton of mint leaves. No flavor, no sweetness, nothing. Two drinks were basically $22, kind of expensive. By the time we got our table, our hunger started to rise. We decided to order the adobe wings -- please skip. These tasted like the wings were rolled in an ash tray. The loaded fries -- not my cup of tea but the wings were so bad that it made the fries taste like heaven. I had gotten the brisket quesadilla which were horrible. The brisket tasted like they were just unfrozen and overcooked. There were barely any cheese in my quesadilla so it was not as appetizing. Overall, I don't think we had ordered the right things but it's soooo hard to mess up mexican food. I am a pretty easy going person when it comes to food especially when I've had some alcohol in my system. Ok I'm done with this place. Went there today to get my usual steakhouse burrito and was shocked at what I received. It use to be a meal by itself but now it's smaller and more expensive than 6 months ago. $17and change it cost and I'd travel like 40 minutes to go get it. Bidenomics has come to this place now. I was really excited to try the food here since I just saw it on the food network's diners, drive ins and dives but when I got to try it, it was a bit underwhelming. We tried the chips and salsa, adobe flavored wings, steak tacos and corn bites. The chips and salsa are usually really. Good anywhere you go, but the salsa we ordered (mild) was tasteless. No salt or seasoning...just tasted a bit like sour tomatoes blended in a blender. The wings were slathered in sauce so very messy. The adobo sauce had an over powering flavor of something burnt. The smell and flavor stuck on us the entire day. They were also very spicy, the kind of spice that gets hotter when you drink water or eat something else. The steak tacos were good but again were over powered by some spice I couldn't pinpoint. The flavor was odd but the steak itself was tender so it was edible. The best thing there were the corn bites. There were four of us and two of us got the steak burrito. Both of us experienced the embarrassing of having to spit a big chewy fatty piece of steak into a napkin. This place TOTALLY lives up to the hype. The reviews have a lot of negativity but I trust my dude Guy over yous & knew a spot on Diner's Drive-ins and Dives had to be delicious. Came here for a dinner (way casual) on a Monday. We sat inside and fell in love with the decor, which is almost all for sale btw! Their prices are reasonable and so worth the quality. To start we had the small chips and guac just bc we were feeling it and the were actually the best chips I've ever had lol. For entrees I had the Mole Chicken Platter ($14.50) which was out of this world. Absolutely delicious and HUGE. I ate a third and ate it twice as leftovers lol My boyfriend got the chicken enchiladas with the chipotle cream sauce and it was FIRE. Highly recommend! read more

This place has certainly gone downhill. But I was in the aread and decided to give it another chance in hopes of a comeback. I noticed we never received chips/salsa. This is the first Mexican restaurant I've eaten at this summer not to do that. First, I ordered Sangria. The waiter says that the ($24) pitcher is equal to 4 ($8) glasses. It was barely 3, so it made no sense to evem get it other tham to rip customers off. They packed it with way too much ice, so much in fact that cubes spilled on the table every time I poured it. Next, we ordered soups. Chicken tortilla soup is one my go-tos, but this one was strange, way too much sour cream. I tried my wife's Chilli and despite excessive onions, that was rather flavorful. Then, we had some apps. The beef flautas were solid. The jalapeño corn fritters were okay, but not enough jalapeños! (It's the first word in the title, so it should be the main ingredient, but you barely taste it!) Finally were the entrees. I ordered one of my all around favorites - shrimp tacos. These were extremely bland and used to be much better. My wife ordered pork mole (because they no longer have her favorite, the chicken mole). But they made the same mistake with both They shred/pull the meat and use less mole sauce, so you DON'T TASTE IT AT ALL! It's a shame, because this place used to be really solid, but honestly started to decline before covid. I will most likely never come here again as there are much better Mexican restaurants in Belmar. read more

The guacamole was tasty and the chips made it even better, they were not crunchy but rather a soft and flakey chip that I appreciated.
