Ummmm am I missing something? Every item was lackluster. Tacos were dry; pork a little tough. Chorizo was pretty good, but the arepa was like eating flavorless sandpaper. Maybe I'm used to other variations with more cheese and softer texture. Equites was tasty but practically soup. Large chunks of curdled-like cojita cheese (or similar) which was cringey sitting in a very thin, milky liquid. I would have preferred a more tangible corn dish with creamy drizzle. Prices were extremely fair and online ordering was efficient. I would perhaps try other menu items, but not rushing to return. Not much interior--definitely a takeout spot. read more

Service was fine, though they seemed to not have a few of the items we asked for that were listed on the menu. Not sure what that was about. I ordered 3 sides, maduros, frijoles, and rice. They didn't bring me water though I asked for some. I guess they were very busy that day. Food was pretty good... can't go wrong with maduros. Price isn't too bad either. Service was okay. Totally disappointed. Our order this evening was 1 burrito and 3 enchiladas. Was told the burrito had sour cream, cheese and mild green sauce. I've never had a burrito with those items on top instead of inside. When you closed the lid, the cheese stuck to the cover and the burrito tore open when I open my dish. All the rice and beans were one one side and some chorizo on the other. Should have been evenly spread. And with enchiladas, every place we've ever had them, they're smothered in sauce. There was barely a hint of sauce on each. As for the rice and beans? They must be using minute Rice and canned black beans. (I make Minute Rice often. I know the shape, size and texture. It must be the same.) No flavor...horrible. We've ordered from there many times over the years. Not happy with our order at all. And, a 4% surcharge for credit card usage is excessive. Didn't know there was a surcharge until I got my credit card receipt. Not prominently displayed per Visa and MasterCard card rules. Never ordering there again. Must be different owners or managers. I got the 12 inch burrito with the carnitas and it was more than enough for lunch. The sweet plantains are worth ordering so don't leave without having them! (If you are thinking of getting a burrito, be sure to note the difference between the burrito and the "Panchos and Juanchos" burrito on the menu -- one is a single 12 inch burrito and the other menu item is an order of TWO 10 inch burritos.) My husband got the three tacos with carne enchilada and that had to be the most flavorful meat I've ever had in a taco (and I've had tacos in Mexico .. a few times).
