Hidden Gem! Truly the locals authentic spot! Amazingly delicious authentic Mexican food at an affordable price. The location is connected to the mini market and has indoor or outdoor eating. I'm unsure why the name is for a bakery, didn't see much bake goods. They have a simple menu with Tacos, Burritos or combo. The menudo is delicious and offered on Sundays. The service was excellent and plenty of parking.

Visited June 30th..see receipt. I have been hearing about this place so I thought I would give it a try because I love mexican food! Their posted hours start at 4am! When you drive into La Fortuna Bakery the food to order is to the left and the store to buy dry foods and other items is attached and to the right. They have indoor and some outdoor seating as well. I ordered the steak burrito to go. It does not come with salsa so you need to ask for it! The burrito was a decent size ( especially for the money) but there was very little steak in it. It still tasted very good, and the burrito was wrapped up nicely. The red salsa was a bit watery and not spicy enough for my taste. The prices on their menu are budget friendly especially for the portion you are getting. I hear the tortas and tacos are good as well. I think I got spoiled by another place down the street that has massive burritos with a ton of meat and are generous with their salsas! I would still come back again and try their tortas. It's a cute stop and make sure you visit their store next door!

Legit burrito with authentic ingredients quickly prepared. Enjoyed a real Coca-cola with cane sugar. Nice little dining area inside and clean bathroom.

We had been in the road for a couple hours and wanted quick food. We saw some reviews and decided to eat here. The food was amazing! Total was $25 for 2 tortas and a large horchata. The tortas were filling, fresh and tasteful. I was only able to finish half of my Torta because of how full it was. The outside of the establishment looks deceiving but inside you'll find a convince store filled with Mexican candy. They have outdoor seating with a filtered water filling station in case you've been on the road for a while. The young girls that attended us were very nice and knowledgeable about the it menu.

It might look a bit unexpected on the outside and inside but you should still check it out

They also have balsamic vinegar and olive oil's on display for sale. It was midday on a Thursday, arrived and 2 folks were waiting for what must've been a sandwich being made. Seemed like I waited a LONG time in the lobby, at least long enough to hear about one of the customers upcoming travels, budgeting, family, etc. etc. There was I person working and when she finally came out and saw me waiting she was very apologetic for the long wait and lack of items to choose from. I was hoping to try their croissant which is different than your normal croissant, but they didn't have any available. Learned the pastries and breads are made at their other location and brought in which makes sense because the place is just slightly bigger than a shoebox, Ended up with a couple of ciabatta loaves, pecan bar and a lemon bar. The bread was the best, the bars weren't anything to write home about. We're planning to go back out in a couple of months and will give them another try earlier in the day.

In $24, we got: - 1 chicken red pesto panini - 5/5 - which was freshly grilled. They offer u 3 choices of cheese and i choose cheddar. The red pesto sauce was flavorful and chicken meat quality was top-notch! - 2 eclairs - 5/5 filled with chocolate cream. Unique and delish! - 2 vanilla eclairs - 4/5 usual but smaller in size compared to other stores so it was a fun size Would definitely recommend filling your belly here before you drive up to the gorgeous wineries for some wine tasting. #supportlocal

My entire family absolutely loves it here. Whether you're grabbing their signature breakfast burrito (seriously killer--go bacon or veggie, you can't lose), a fresh bagel, or just a really good cup of coffee, everything feels thoughtfully made. And if you haven't tried their homemade cheesecake, you are missing out--it's hands down the best I've ever had. They also rotate seasonal cakes, which makes every visit feel a little special. Now let's talk about the donuts... the apple fritter is easily in my top three ever (and that's saying something--only Apple Hill beats it), and the maple donuts? Absolute favorite. No notes. Just perfection. Their freshly baked bread is incredible, and one of my favorite little touches is that they offer day-old items at a discount--which honestly still taste just as amazing. But what really makes this place stand out is the people. The staff are genuinely kind, always welcoming with a warm smile and somehow remember your name. That kind of care is rare. This bakery is an absolute gem, and I feel so lucky it's only a 3-minute drive from home.
